This was my second time staying in a family room here. This hotel has an unbeatable view that no other five-star hotel, no matter how hard they try, can replicate. I absolutely love this room because it allows me to fully enjoy that incredible scenery. I'll definitely be back. The only minor downside is that the breakfast selection could be a bit more varied.

If we get shower gel or shampoo and complimentary tea, this room would be perfect (comfy bed, good pillows, big room, kettle and coffee, quiet enough for one night) Service is lacking effort in reception. we didn’t need anything, but if they offer we would buy breakfast etc. but no effort from staff at all. Little shame staff is usually what makes the place in Philippines, not here. Location is little far from the views but only 1 km from city center.

The place was very near to Picnic Grove , like a 2 to 3 minutes walk. It was very nice, the room was clean. The pool water was very cold though as Tagaytay is generally cold this time of the year. Staff and check-in were very nice and a breeze. Breakfast was delicious. The coffee was very aromatic as well. My only comment was transportation. It was a challenge to get to the hotel without Grab. Used Joyride app to book a car. Also tried other apps like InDrive LalaMove. It would be really helpful if the hotel had its own transportation. On the side, everything was OK and nice.

Summit Ridge Tagaytay, in my opinion, is quite good. However, there are a few things that are not my cup of tea. Negative points: 1. This is my main concern. I found myself waking up every hour, especially when noisy vehicles passed by. Although there’s not much that can be done about it, I had to wear noise-cancelling headphones while sleeping. 2. Breakfast selection is just average. Enough to get you through the morning. 3. The bottom part of the shower door wasn’t properly sealed, so water leaked out every time I took a shower. 4. The weirdest issue was with the water. The faucet water for brushing teeth and washing my face smelled fine, but sometimes the shower water had a slightly unpleasant odor. Not dirty, just odd. Positive points: 1. My favorite thing about Summit Ridge Tagaytay is the view. I love that they have a sky lounge where you can take clear photos of Taal Lake. During the day, you can enjoy the lake view, and in the evening, you can capture a beautiful golden hour. 2. Great access to supermarkets, restaurants, and many other good spots nearby. 3. Free drinking water is a nice plus. 4. The amenities are also quite good, they even have swings in the lobby.

Bath towels - doesn't smell newly washed 2. bulb lights - its best if it's a higher watts 3. Noise - guests must be advised to lower their noise as other guests are already sleeping at 2am. The room, amenities, hotel ambiance, and service at Via Appia Hotel are great. The staff are friendly, and the place is very comfortable. The only issue I experienced was with the bathroom heater and hot water. The heater initially wasn’t working, so I called for it to be fixed. The technician came. Tried to fix it and said it was working now. However, when it was time to shower before checkout, the hot water in the bathroom only lasted for a few seconds before turning cold again. I had to turn the water off and on repeatedly to get hot water for short periods. This can be quite inconvenient, especially since the hotel is in Tagaytay, where the weather is very cold. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, but improving the hot water system would make the experience much better.

We enjoyed our stay! Some improvements should be made, i feel like it's too crowded in weekends I suggest for them to build a different pool for condo owners and hotel renters as i assume both goes to the same pool. Also, I hope it should be well maintained, some of the rooms/ areas are not clean enough, dust and paints are chipped, grass are too high and should install more lights too! It makes us scared to roam around cause there might be snakes or also cant see the beauty of it at night. But overall perfect of you want a peaceful and laid back stay in tagayta

The hotel has informed me when I checked in, that the photos of the room I booked which I saw from trip.com’s site, was not the same as what they will give me. And since we were tired from the long travel, I just agreed as long as the number of beds that I’ve booked were the same and the room was senior-friendly. The room was, in general, clean and spacious. However, the phone and the TV were not working. I informed the reception about it and was told it would be fixed after 3 days. The toilet was a disappointment as it looked dilapidated and mouldy. Overall, the staff were friendly and the place looked nice, however, I think there would be a better place to go that is the same as the price I paid.

The condo’s location is very accessible, and although the building looks a bit old, it feels secure because there’s a guard on duty. The room is small but still comfortable enough for four people to rest for 3 days and 2 nights. However, the bathroom walls had some stains or dirt left, so I hope the cleanliness can be improved. Staff are great. Courteous, helpful and cheerful. But why don't you even serve ice to your customers. Aside from the security which I find so restless at night because anyone can just barge in at night esp in the entrance. The standard room has a door near the cabinet which I felt restless due to the lock can be opened on the outside area. Almost slept 4am due to these things. Could the owners see to it that security and safety is a priority please? The reception area is so DUSTY!

One thing future guests should be aware of is the ₱2,000 security deposit per room, which is cash only. It would be helpful if this requirement were clearly communicated during the booking process to avoid surprises upon check in. The main area for improvement is the breakfast experience. The dining area is quite limited for the number of guests, especially during busy periods, and the food selection could be expanded. The hotel should consider implementing a better system for managing guests during breakfast hours to minimize waiting and crowding. The Hotel was sm & a bit isolated... about 2 Km away from shops, restaurants & main road. The place was open and had sofas in open areas for you to chill.. and enjoy the views/ cool weather. They also help us rent a full day Tuk-tuk as there was generally no taxi nearby. The rooms have AC but there's NO REMOTE.. you have to stand on a chair in the middle of your sleep to adjust...

When you book, you won't be able to contact the property owner. You'll just have to find the caretaker when you arrive. The area is really vast, which makes it a bit creepy. But it's great, especially if you have a pet. The rooms are clean, but I don't know what the issue is, as many offices and restaurants are closed and dusty, adding to the creepiness of the place. Good thing many of us booked on that day, so our worries disappeared. On the second day, we were the only ones left, but our anxiety was gone. The caretakers, Ate and Kuya, were super kind, 5/5. If you ask if we'd go back there, my answer is YES. It's perfect if you're looking for a quiet place. We also enjoyed swimming in the pool; it was clean and relaxing.

If you're looking to a place just to sleep, this would be it but if you're looking for some hotel to enjoy it's amenities. This is not the place for it. The hotels are clean, but not an A+ clean. You cannot walk on the room floor without slippers, it will get your feet black. I have my wife and my kids with me. The younger one enjoys the stay but oldest gets bored about 3 hours of staying. Aside from the ice cold pool, there's nothing much to do. The gym with 2 equipments is not working but I think in time, it could be better. Since they told me that they're kitchen is on maintennace. Even an ice, or a complimentary drinks was not included. PHYengBWe had a comfortable and enjoyable stay at this hotel. The room was clean, well maintained, and the beds were very comfortable, allowing us to rest well throughout our stay. One thing we particularly loved was the hotel's pleasant scent. The lobby and common areas always smelled fresh and inviting, creating a great first impression. The location is very convenient, with several restaurants and dining options within the area. There is also ample parking available for guests with private vehicles. For those without a car, transportation is easily accessible, making it convenient to get around. On weekends, opening a function room as an additional breakfast area could be a practical solution to accommodate more guests and improve the overall dining experience. Overall, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend the hotel for its cleanliness, comfort, accessibility, and convenient location. With some improvements to breakfast operations and clearer communication regarding the security deposit, the guest experience would be even better.
