If being saturated in the smell of sewage (I assume from the nearby city sewer system), being terminally tormented by the tedious sounds of traffic, cringing all night at the excruciating cacophony of construction activity, wincing at the grating sound of city vehicles cleaning streets and emptying dumpsters outside your room all night, being deafened at 4 a. m. by a diesel delivery truck parked outside your room running their refrigeration units at 120 decibels and clanging on metal unloading ramps loudly enough to wake the deceased, and a general unawareness of and indifference to your suffering and the very idea that a lodger might wish to sleep at night are what you seek, this hotel is for you! The hotel was clean and neat inside the room and conveniently located near City Cafe and a public transport stop, however, the notion that a lodger might desire sleep seems to have escaped them. In my personal experience Hotel Bo now has pride of place for providing (or not providing, rather) the worst night of ”sleep” (torture, rather) at a hotel that I have had in half a century. I honestly could have slept in my truck in a Walmart parking lot and been happier and more rested right now. I find it humorously ironic, I guess, that I arrived after midnight due to a difficult journey thinking I would crash hard and sleep through any disturbance a hotel might have the capacity to conjure up in the night, not knowing that the fates were already laughing devilishly at what they had planned for me at Hotel Bo. So, here I sit at City Cafe (since 5 a. m., by the way) musing to myself about my own idiocy. Caveat emptor.

We celebrated our 40th anniversary here and it was extremely nice! The breathtaking ambiance when you walk inside to the bellmen with the hats and curtesy they gave us when we first arrived. Our room was on the 10th floor end unit as we walked inside was kinda small but the bathroom was big! Quiet room, pillows were ok but bed was very comfortable! Room service was great but only Friday-Sunday, very disappointed as we stayed through Monday. I love in room service fir breakfast especially! The restaurant was superb and our waiter Chris was absolutely perfect! The bartender in the front bar named I believe Barry was such an amazing guy! Good food in there to order as well! Anything you needed the front desk accommodated very nicely! The tour of room 311 was definitely a must! Valet Parking was a bit pricey but worth it! You will be happy to book this for your stay in Chattanooga! Great memories! So much to do in Chattanooga!

My wife and I spent one night at The Edwin Hotel and it could not have been better. We tried to make the most of the on-site amenities and visited both Whitebird and Whiskey Thief. Both were great experiences. The next morning we had breakfast at Rembrandts in the nearby art district. Our room was a welcome change from chain hotels and was nicely appointed. Our view was mainly of the Hunter Art Museum but we could see the Tennessee River also. The location is a huge plus and we enjoyed walking across the Walnut Street Bridge and over into Coolidge Park. This is one of the best hotels we have ever been to and would love to return.

I want to preface my review with the fact that I never write negative reviews. I try to give businesses and folks in general the benefit of the doubt. I can't let this one go, however. My husband and are regular travelers and to be fair generally stay at Hyatt Hotels, as we have status and benefits through Hyatt. We've been considering a change, as Hyatt does not have as many benefits as years past. We will however RUN FROM BONVOY, thanks to the Westin Chattanooga. They really messed this one up, as I have a small business and they could have benefited from having us as loyal patrons. We were staying at the hotel for 3 nights, with a large business event being held here for my husband's industry. To start, our room was never adequately cleaned. The first day the bed looked as though a toddler tried their best to make the bed. Zero effort went in to tidying up the bed. Dirty hand towels were left in the bathroom, empty water bottles left out and trash items like wrappers, etc. were left about the room. I have never witnessed such a poor attempt at ”cleaning” a room before. Not even during Covid did I see such a lack of effort. My husband called down to let the manager know and they assured us it would be better the following day. They also let us know several others had called down to complain. Day two, the room was cleaned in the exact same manner. Absolutely nothing changed. The third incident was my room service order. I ordered the Westin Breakfast that was delivered to my room with no potatoes. I declined to even address the issue at the time, as I had an appointment to make. Lastly, and the reason for this review, was the $250 charge for the broken mirror. The day before we departed, my husband and I were getting ready to leave our room when a loud noise was heard from RM 711 and the wall moved. Someone had either hit the wall, stumbled or something else on the other side of the wall adjacent to our room. I saw the mirror on our side of the wall swell and then heard and saw it crack immediately. I told my husband to make sure to call and report this, as I was certain with our experience we would be undoubtedly blamed for this incident. We called immediately to report what happened and spoke to the manager at checkout as well. He was extremely apologetic and tried to offer us breakfast, as sandwich, anything to attempt to make up for our troubles. We declined, as we had a flight to catch but I did appreciate the attempt. At minimum, our breakfast should have been comped. It wasn't. My husband made it clear on numerous occasions that we were concerned they would try to stick us with the charge for the mirror. I realize the Westin has to take us at our word, however I believe everyone should take accountability in life. Had this legitimately been our fault, we would absolutely pay for it. We did not cause any damage to this mirror or the room. Now we are tasked with having to dispute this charge with our credit card company. I've also waste

We stopped here on a return trip from visiting friends in Virginia. The hotel is at the foot of Lookout Mountain so the view is mostly trees but in a pleasant, quieter location outside of downtown Chattanooga. There is a Cracker Barrel on the same road just below the hotel. We easily drove back into town for supper at Carraba's. The lobby was very inviting with a mountain lodge feel and a crackling fire in the fireplace. We had a suite with separate sitting room and bedroom on the 3rd floor. Ask for a room facing the mountain - we had a view of the dumpster from our room. (Not mad about the dumpster - every hotel needs one. Just didn't think about asking for a specific view.) The room was very clean with one exception - some hairs left behind on the wall of the shower stall. The color pattern of the tile might have camouflaged them so that housekeeping overlooked them, and it was not a deal-breaker for us but might warrant some additional training for staff. The breakfast area was busy on a Tuesday morning, so much so that coffee and food items ran out and were being replenished by possibly the only worker responsible for the buffet. He was trying his hardest to stay caught up to the many guests and I suspect this was just a staffing problem, possibly someone not showing up to work the breakfast shift. Every hotel associate we encountered or spoke to was very polite and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it.

We spent a wonderful night at the Hotel Indigo Chattanooga. The hotel is updated and comfortable, with very friendly and welcoming staff members. Special recognition for Aaron at check-in and all of the great valet staff. We had a hotel upgrade to a suite based on our IHG membership level. The suite was tastefully decorated with modern touches, and it was a very quiet and cool retreat on a hot July night. The location is great with a short walk to the shops and restaurants on Broad Street & Market Street, and all of the attractions near the River. We’ll be back!

The hotel is old, especially the carpet has a damp smell and feels not clean. But its location is very good, the parking lot is large, the room is large, the service is good, the breakfast is good, because of the familiarity, I have lived here many times. Once I stayed at the Marriott Hotel next to me. Although it was luxurious, the room was small. I also reported two fire alarms in the middle of the night. The price was too low and the experience was too bad. So I often live here.

What an amazing hotel, the prices are very reasonable, we stayed in one of the train cars with a private bedroom, private bathroom with a heated floor, so well decorated, it’s like going back in time and traveling in a Pullman car. Everything was perfect. The train car was super clean, wonderful bathroom with a full shower, the way the cars are parked, are perfect, gas lights outside, and we only had to walk 50 feet to Elsie‘s daughters restaurant on the property, I will review that separately as it was also excellent, and recommended by hotel chalet. From the moment we checked in our stay went perfect, Molly and Lily at the front desk were excellent hosts, made sure we had everything we needed, when the rain started they checked us out a two person umbrella to get to the restaurant. Management clearly cares about what’s going on at this property, as all the staff are courteous, polite, and super professional. The location is also excellent, right downtown Chattanooga, we were able to walk to everything, I highly recommend this hotel, and staying in a train car, if you are capable of climbing, a few steps, and especially if you enjoy trains.

After reading several reviews, I was reluctant to book at this hotel; HOWEVER, my family stayed for five days and LOVED it. There were several things to point out as being well above average. The staff was fabulous. Anything that we asked had a prompt and courteous response. Our room was clean and had plenty of room, and it had a great view of the river. The breakfast was good [we have been used to COVID breakfast options at other hotels, so we thought the options were great!]. The onsite restaurant was also very good. Along with the staff, the Valet team was the BEST! Austin, Jay, Tyson, and Christian provided exceptional service, considering we had a bass boat and needed extra parking. Every time we arrived at the hotel, both the hotel and the valet staff were asking about our day and if there anything we needed. They provided local suggestions for restaurants and excursions. During one of the days, I received a personal phone call about the maintenance staff requesting to enter my room. They had discovered a leak and since we were not in the room, they requested permission (which they do NOT have to do) and informed me of the situation. They left a Twix candy bar with their apologies for the inconvenience and to let us know the problem was ”TWIXED!” What a team! My family and I are returning to Chattanooga in a couple of weeks and we will be staying at this hotel again.

We came to see a play and had an exceptional stay at the hotel. We had checked in on the app; Gary Potts at the front desk greeted me by name as a titanium member and thank me for my loyalty when he gave me the keys to our room on the 15th floor. Great view of the city. The next day we returned to the front desk because I was shocked to see Uber wanted $49 for the short ride to the theater. Gary greeted us by name and agreed that there should be another option. He called a taxi service and scheduled one for us after confirming the price ($3.50!) and verifying the details with us. Lisa, who also was at the front desk, assisted us with maps and information about the local area. It was a pleasure to have both of them take such a personal interest. The next day when we checked out, Lisa asked about the performance and chatted with us again. The personnel in the restaurant and bar were also very professional and attentive. This property obviously puts a priority on its clientele as well cleanliness and upkeep.. We're not sure when we'll return to Chattanooga, but this is where I know we will stay.

Parking and check in were both quick and easy. Taxes made the overall cost a little high, but well pleased with the room.

I'm looking forward to staying here this week. I visited Chattanooga a few weeks ago, and stayed at a different Hilton property. This trip, we wanted to stay by the river. Before heading home from my previous trip, I stopped into the HGI, and what a wonderful staff. Emily and Christine told us about the hotel, gave us food and drink establishment recommendations, and room recommendations. All this when our reservation is 3 weeks out. If they treat you like that when you're not a guest, that's all you need to know about how they'll treat you while there. Most importantly, they gave me the restaurant choice to celebrate my bride's birthday. See you soon!

Booked three rooms for one night through Expedia and chose pay at hotel option. Unfortunately, my card was charged prior to check in preventing me from using an alternative payment method. I was told the fine print allows GM this option. First time this has happened to me and we travel often. The hotel lobby refreshments for purchase was severely under stocked, with bottled water being one of the items they were out of. One staff member had a very casual attitude about this while another offered us each a small bottle (8 ounces) they had behind the counter. Small consolation. After check in there were two $25 holds placed on my debit card which the front desk could not explain and claimed they didn’t see in their system (well they are certainly pending on my account), and it was not for incidentals as I used a different card. The room I booked for my parents was on the second floor and they do not have an elevator nor did they ask if anyone had an issue with stairs. This wasn’t good for my Dad that has trouble with his knee. Then the toilet in their room leaked the entire time. The tub in my sons room was less than clean. The comforter on one of the beds in my room was stained. My keycard did not work - my child and husband were escorted by the same young lady that was casual about not stocking water back to the room where I was waiting outside the door, we were let in and I was asked to show my ID. What?!?!? There was no staff change, these were literally the same staff members in duty when we checked in less than one hour ago, and asked about water two minutes before. Last but not least, the carpet in the common hallway was damp and smelly. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone because it’s the little things that matter and they have more than missed the mark. Pros - They were moderately priced, in a good location, overall cleanliness was satisfactory.

Unfortunately once we got to our room it smelled of dog and not very fresh. We asked to be switched to a different room. Deidre was very accommodating and assisted us in finding another one. She was so patient and kind. Upon day three we spoke with Morgan and asked for our room to be cleaned. She stated that she would get in touch with Housekeeping and make sure it was taken care of. We returned from a late lunch to a very clean room. Housekeeping did an awesome job and Morgan delivered! We also requested additional towels and washcloths which were provided right away. Our stay here was good and not-so good. We requested a ground floor room and that's what we got, which some hotels won't do if we arrive later in the day. We were able to park right at the door. Room and everything was pretty clean. The things we used worked well (refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer) but I didn't see an ironing board. TV worked fine. The shower worked well and had one of those shower curtain rods that gives you more room. The sink/counter area was large and separate from the toilet tub. The breakfast was okay with hot scrambled eggs & sausage, biscuits & gravy, packaged pastries, bagels, some cereal, juice, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, etc. There were washers and dryers in the room where the pool is. We didn't try the pool but it was large and indoors and looked nice. There was a $100 deposit and since we paid with a credit card, they said there would be no problem about having to pay it in cash. On the negative side: The room had an odor... not really smoke but something that wasn't particularly pleasant. The room felt very humid and ”sticky” despite the a/c working to lower the temperature. I didn't like the feel of the tile floors on my bare feet. There was no tissue in the tissue dispenser. Although there was room for a table and chair, there wasn't any. We ate our carry-out dinner sitting on the bed. Pillows were only okay and all were the same. Toilet/tub area was very small. No elevator for 2nd floor rooms.

Good location, safe and convenient. It is Ctrip's reservation, I don't know how to get the order invoice. Suitable for taking children. A three-minute walk around you can go to the place to have fun.
