The room was comfortable, but not very clean. Marquita checked us in and she was very friendly and helpful. The main complaint we had was the breakfast. We had previously stayed at a Holiday Inn Express in another city and we were served a hot breakfast by a staff member. This worked very well to keep everyone safe and guests got a great hot breakfast. The first morning they had a few hot sausage biscuits, but not enough for all of the guests. Otherwise, we had cereal, yogurt, and a few sweet pastries. Wifi was good. Gym and pool were also nice.

I am currently writing this review in my hotel room. It’s 10:40pm and my kid can not go to sleep. There is a patio right outside beneath my non-soundproof window. It must belong to the hotel’s bar or something. There is a group of guys drinking, talking, laughing and yelling. It is loud to the degree that my kid can not go to sleep at all. I essentially called the front desk around 10pm and was told that the place would close at 10:30pm but as now of 10:41pm, it’s still going strong. I made a second call at around 10:35pm and was told the guy who should close down the place was busy valeting. I fully respect the business hour of the hotel’s bar and its customer’s rights to enjoy themselves. But I also need my kid to have a good night of sleep while traveling. I wish 1)the hotel would assign me a quieter room since it’s clearly noted on the reservation that I have a young kid. 2)the hotel would communicate the location to me checking in so that I can request a different room. I suggest any future family traveling with young kids make sure your room is not beneath that horrible patio. Picture attached to show closeness of the noise. I do not blame the guys. They are paying customers enjoying their time. I blame the hotel for poor management and customer service.

The food was good, but what made it great was the amazing person who took care of us each morning. Kristi Saint made us feel at home every morning. After the first morning she had our coffee and Oj waiting for us as soon as we made it to our table. Even with all the challenges of the corona virus, and having their food delivery interrupted by a recent tornado, Kristi made us feel at home, and all our needs taken care of. House cleaning also did a great job taking care of our room each day.

This was a good place to stay. It was very clean. There was a stain/black mold looking stuff around the air vent. It was quiet. The parking is a disaster. You have to valet and pay unless you want to park on the street. There is not enough room with people coming and going. It would be easier to park yourself in the parking lot across from the hotel. They will not even let you go get your car if you valet. You have to stand and wait when it would be quicker to walk to the parking lots. The valet guys were super nice and efficient and always offered a hello. It was frustrating to see the front desk employees not wearing their masks properly. It doesn't go around your chin. Otherwise everything was clean.

This is an amazing facility!! The staff, check-in/out process, the cleanliness of the room and grounds - everything was great. The coffee is good, not sure about the breakfast since my stay was during this ridiculous pandemic. Only thing I would mention or suggest is to maybe bring your own pillow if you are a picky pillow person. In all honesty though, that is something I can deal with if it means everything else is as good and well taken care of as this hotel is. Just an all around super place.

We were quite displeased with our recent stay at this hotel. We have been SPG/Marriot, now Bonvoy members for well over 30 Years. No acknowledgment of this when we checked in. We were assigned room # 522 and even though a higher floor was on our reservation we accepted what we were given. This is an executive king with the separate bedroom and 1-1/2 baths. When we went to hang our clothes in the closet, we noticed the rod was only about 40" off the floor with a shelf above. We did not have coats or me a dress so it wasn't a big deal but made us curious. We check the other closet inside the door and it was the strangest closet we have ever seen. It was very large the only thing in it was an ironing board and iron. No rod, nothing else. We started to think we were given an accessible room and maybe that was for a wheelchair. Although the bath was not, we thought they maybe changed it back to a regular room without fixing the closets. We just couldn't figure out this strange room. I check to be sure there were down and foam pillows on the bed but there were only foam so we called for down pillows. They brought some but they were the same as we had just squishy foam. It took another trip for them to get it somewhat right. Pillows were lumpy and not what the heavenly bed pillows are suppose to be. We then noticed the "Do Not disturb" sign was missing, so I headed down to the front desk to get one. The two young lades there did not understand or speak English too well . I then asked if we were given an accessible room because of the closet. They did not understand so I tried to explain. I said there was no room for long clothing like a dress. She thought I was talking about a dresser. I said it's ok forget it. As soon as I got upstairs here comes the same guy who brought the pillows to check the dresser. This hotel needs to do better with hiring staff who can understand English. I told him about the sign and he went to get one. Guess the front desk girls didn't understand that either. While sitting on the couch I noticed a smell from the carpet. It smelled like a dog, another reviewer mentioned this as well. I ignored it as we were only there for 2 days. Our suite had 1-1/2 baths and the drain assembly was broken, stuck down so no water could drain in the 1/2 bath. The housekeeper was all ready to leave when we were returning to the room so my husband showed it to her. Why she didn't she notice it while cleaning? It was a vessel sink with no drainage hole so if it filled and overflowed that would have a real problem. She called and 2 engineers came. They had to take apart the whole cabinet and deemed they needed parts. We told them leave it so the water would drain and come back when we checked out the next day. I inquired about the closets and they said they were all like ours and agreed you could not hang long clothing in them. They didn't know why the other closet had no rod. They said they had been the

I made a reservation about a month in advance for a king sized bedroom for my husband and I. We were looking forward to this as we are both tall people and don’t have a king sized bed at home. It was also Valentine’s Day weekend and we had been planning this for a while. When we arrived we were told they were out of king sized beds due to third party sellers. It didn’t matter if we had a reservation. It became clear that it only mattered if we were Marriott Bonvoy members. They said we could stay in a room with 2 double beds and they gave us a free breakfast and a $10 drink voucher. We had no choice but to accept because everything in Chattanooga would be booked the day of. I knew it wasn’t the front desk’s fault and that it was probably out of their control so I decided to call Marriott customer service to see if we could get any more compensation for our trouble. We wouldn’t have ever stayed there if we couldn’t get a king sized bed. That was basically the whole point. Customer service was rude and incredibly unhelpful. They tried to blame us for the issue. We tried calling around to go somewhere else but there was nothing available. We spent so much time trying to figure this out, we were late for our dinner. I will never stay in a Marriott again. Our weekend was basically ruined.

In the time we now live in , I find that we are all either moving too fast, or playing the hurry up and wait game, so when I went to book my Room at this property.. I was moving too fast, and made the mistake of booking the wrong day. A very nice man who works the night shift called me to verify my booking and it was then that I realized my mistake he was extremely helpful and because of him I was able to book my real dates and give this property 5 stars before even ever staying there. Thank you so much to Shawn and Hampton in and suites chattanooga. See you soon!
