Great stay for families looking to relax. Staff and amenities are too notch. Breakfast offers a wide selection. Activities are pricey though, so it’s great that they have a beachfront for just lounging and a mall for walking. Forget the KTV as the packages are way overpriced. Bring your own Gopro or similar devices for capturing moments in water. (Their partner diving center will sell you an outrageously priced memory card if you rent their camera if ever you choose to get your water moments be taken.) The complimentary photo shoot is also a fabulous experience until they tell you the packages for your shots after (You’d feel totally ripped off if you don’t know how to haggle and deal the Pinoy way;).

We had a great 5-night stay at Henann Tawala and would rate it 4.5 stars. The hotel is very modern and offers good value for money — in fact, it was our favorite among the three Henann resorts in the area, even compared to the flagship. We stayed in a room with a pool view, which was really nice and added to the overall relaxing experience. The room was comfortable and well designed, with a bathtub as well. Staff were friendly and helpful, although not every aspect feels fully 5 star. Breakfast was decent but the selection is smaller compared to international 5-star hotel chains. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would happily recommend Henann Tawala.

While the standard rooms are pretty basic, the individual bungalows are fantastic. The natural surroundings are truly amazing. You get your own private beach, which is wide, white, and has incredibly fine, powdery sand. Right in front of the beach is a snorkeling area where you can spot many starfish. If you swim closer to the buoys, you'll find some coral and more fish. In a cluster of coral to the left, there's an anemone that's often home to a family of Nemo clownfish. Be careful though: on the right side, near the beach of the neighboring hotel, there are many sea urchins in the shallower areas. If you're snorkeling there, make sure to wear beach shoes. The sea faces south, so you can catch both the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening.

The ladies at the reception are darlings – always helpful, always smiling, which really brightened our day. We booked all our excursions through the hotel, and everything was excellent. Отель неплохой, номера просторные, с отдельным входом. Хороший бассейн. Единственно, прямого выхода к пляжу с улицы, на которой расположен отель, нет. Потому что рядом стоят другие отели. И приходится обходить и делать большой круг. Поэтому хоть и стоит расстояние до пляжа 500 метров, идти придется почти 1.5 км или заказывать транспорт. Ресторан при отеле хороший, по вторникам живая музыка. Было бы еще хорошо, если бы в душ поставили мыло и шампунь. Постоянно просить на ресепшен пакетики, так как при уборке их не долаживают, немного напрягает.

We stayed for 10 nights in a Standard Double Room located in the West Wing. The room was very clean and well-kept, with daily housekeeping and a very comfortable bed. Air-conditioning and lighting were just right, making the room ideal for rest or work. Wi-Fi was 90% stable, with only occasional drops. The location is excellent—just a 5-minute walk to Alona Beach and close to shops and dining options. The hotel has a pool and a “Chada” restaurant that serves some of the most delicious food we had in Bohol. One thing to note is that the building has no elevator, which can be inconvenient if you’re traveling with large suitcases like we were. Fortunately, the staff were incredibly helpful and assisted us with our luggage during check-in and check-out. That level of service really stood out and made our stay even more enjoyable. Everyone on staff was friendly, approachable, and attentive. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and overall, the property felt well-managed. For the price we paid, this was excellent value for money. I’d happily recommend it to others—especially if you’re looking for comfort, convenience, and great food without breaking the bank.

Our room was very spacious and clean! The hostel is well located, an 8min drive from the town. The hostel was quite calm which was perfect. The only “negative” comment I would say is that after eating or drinking, plates and glasses are left on the tables for a long time before being picked up and cleaned. The lady at the front desk was very nice and so were her coworkers 😊

Outsanding place if you want to choose the hotel a little bit out of the crowded city centre! Advantages: - great rooms headed to the swimming pool (we had a King Garden room), - rooms are big, nice looking with good inventory, - staff is excellent, super friendly and helpfull, - quiet and peace, because there are not so many rooms and visitors (sometimes during one week stay we had swimming pool only for ourself), - excellent facilities, beautiful garden and swimming pool, - really good breakfest (served on an individual plate, not open buffet), - reasonable prices in the restaurant and pool cocktail bar, - localisation could be a big advantage if you don't want to live next to the thousands of people (by tuk-tuk just a 5 minutes to the city centre and Aluna beach). Disadvantages: - very poor access road, terrible condition, what makes the tuk-tuk ride not very pleasant. In general I am extremely satisfied of staying in this place. I would recommend it to everyone!

This was a beautiful little boutique style hotel located right on Alona beach. Unfortunately during our stay there were some renovations taking place but the noise was not too loud. Next door had karaoke the night I stayed but this stopped around 10:30pm. Staff very pleasant and helpful and food nice too. Drink on arrival was nice.

Many thanks to all the staff and Aron in particular. We lived like with our grandmother in the village among our own people. The rooms were cleaned every day with bed linen changed. Very quiet and peaceful. There are also scooters for rent for a reasonable price of 350 per day. The location is convenient, not far from the beach and the Mist restaurant. All the staff are very friendly and polite. We were leaving the hotel with a group and just wanted to cry 🙈 After staying for several days and looking at other hotels, including Khenany, we extended our rooms. Thank you very much again for a wonderful vacation!

There is nothing like this on Panglao, when you live in the silence of the jungle, surrounded by nature and excellent service. Excellent breakfasts, when you order exactly what you want, and do not choose from the buffet from the leftovers. We did not have time to try all the breakfast options in a week. The Paprika restaurant itself is one of the best on the island, located on a cliff with a beautiful view of the sea. The service is ideal - you can correspond with the staff via WhatsApp, without having to call. Free transfer to Alona beach, for an additional price we took a trip to the fireflies, a tour of the island of Bohol and a boat for snorkeling. Meeting at the airport and return transfer to the airport was also for money (Attention! Now, to fly from the island, you need to have 900 pesos in cash per person, prepare this money in advance!). The villa itself looks luxurious and spacious, the ceiling made of many crossbars emphasizes the ethnic orientation, and the surrounding of each house with a dense forest with birds singing creates coziness and unity with nature. Of the minuses - I did not like the excursion to the island of Balikasag for snorkeling - early in the morning you swim trying to see dolphins, but the chance to see them is very small, on the island of Balikasag itself they let you swim only 1 hour, and then take you back to the hotel, although the hotel said that the boat is at our disposal and we can swim everywhere and as much as we want. I would also call the hotel's somewhat abandoned state a minus - the stable and spa center look sad, some villas from the outside look abandoned and covered with dry leaves. Since we were in the dry season, the area around the villa was dry, it would be nice if the lawn near the houses was watered, but this may possibly attract extra insects, which, by the way, were almost non-existent, despite the jungle surroundings. The staff speaks excellent English, is smiling and friendly. Thank you for an unforgettable week in a paradise!

We stayed at the hotel 03-04.02. The location is good, 10 minutes walk to the beach, you can go to the right or left from 7/11 through the hotel. The furniture is a bit ”tired”, there are only 2 sockets in the room, there was a fumigator. Very friendly hosts - we checked in a day later and did not use breakfast, they offered it to us for lunch. They helped with a taxi. There is a construction site nearby, but there was no noise.

The room smelled lovely, and the hotel was very clean, with staff constantly tidying up the common areas! There was also a water dispenser for refills. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful – we were really pleased with our stay! The only downside was that the room curtains didn't provide very good privacy; even when closed, there were large gaps that allowed people to see into the room. Since we were on the ground floor, this was a bit of a privacy concern for us. The hotel arranged a boat tour for us for 3500P, but the captain kept rushing us, which wasn't a great experience. We only saw one dolphin before he wanted to move on to the next stop! I’d recommend booking a boat tour externally.

There were five of us in total. I booked a four-person room with an extra bed. I specifically confirmed with them via email, but they still made a mistake on the day of check-in. They gave us a two-person room and a triple room. But otherwise, we were very satisfied. The room was clean and bright. It's about 100 pesos from the Ubeco tuk-tuk. Mainly because it's newly opened, the environment is excellent. Everything is new and clean. It's a bit far from the bustling Alona Beach area. The breakfast was average, neither particularly delicious nor bad.

If you love meeting people, this is a great spot. During my stay, they hosted several free activities and performances in the common area, making it ideal for anyone looking to socialize. Lots of couples but as a solo traveller felt cared about. From start to finish flawless. Even twice a week one hour of free cocktails. When it rains the staff already start wiping down tables and once eases gardeners are out sweeping the leaves off the pathways to help maintain its beautiful appearance. Seriously impressed

(I didn't notice it because I was out of the room during the day, but there were 3-4 power outages one night (for 7 hours) while I was sleeping.) The pool water is a bit toxic(?). (The silver bracelet I was wearing turned black and I broke out in a few hives.) The breakfast was bland. (The fruit and fried eggs were delicious.) Other than that, The staff were friendly, the shuttle pick-up and drop-off were very helpful, and it was a great value for the money. Mango Nail and Suspa are nearby, so they're within walking distance. I had a great stay and enjoyed myself.

Guys, this hotel saved our holiday! Since the beaches (sea) are all frankly disappointing on the island, the pool in this hotel seemed to us simply heavenly. It is not made like ordinary pools, it has different levels for lying and relaxing, wonderful gazebos, and most importantly, it is so quiet there and there are only 5 rooms, of which not all are occupied, so there is a complete feeling that you are in your own villa. And it's nice. The room is also excellent as an apartment with a living room and a kitchen. Super

One thing that stood out was how welcoming and friendly the staff were — every staff member we encountered greeted us warmly and made us feel comfortable during our stay. We also arranged the hotel’s transfer service between the seaport and hotel. Although the price is charged per person and may feel slightly expensive, the service quality definitely made it worthwhile, especially after a tiring journey. Special thanks to Garry for the warm welcome and assistance. I didn’t manage to catch the names of the other staff members, but everyone at the lobby area was very accommodating and professional. The hotel itself is in a strategic location, directly in front of Alona Beach, making it very convenient for travelers. The facilities were great as well — we especially loved the beautiful pools, including the rooftop sky pool with a stunning sunset view. Breakfast had a wide variety of choices, and we particularly enjoyed the salad section. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and suitable for a relaxing stay. Overall, we had a good experience and would recommend Henann for its hospitality, facilities, and convenient location.

We stayed at Henann Alona Resort as a family. The staff were very courteous and helpful. The foods are good lots of selections, and the location is perfect, with the surrounding pools is amazing my kids love it, they have kids and adult pool and what i love in the pool its not crowded worth the money, and our premier  room is big and the view is the pool. Good for family and friends outing.

While the standard rooms are pretty basic, the individual bungalows are fantastic. The natural surroundings are truly amazing. You get your own private beach, which is wide, white, and has incredibly fine, powdery sand. Right in front of the beach is a snorkeling area where you can spot many starfish. If you swim closer to the buoys, you'll find some coral and more fish. In a cluster of coral to the left, there's an anemone that's often home to a family of Nemo clownfish. Be careful though: on the right side, near the beach of the neighboring hotel, there are many sea urchins in the shallower areas. If you're snorkeling there, make sure to wear beach shoes. The sea faces south, so you can catch both the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening.
