The place is very good, with its own swimming pool, consistent with the photo on the booking page, and it is also very beautiful on rainy days. The villa is located on the upper and lower two balconies facing lagoon, just in the row at the head of the Muri beach. There is also a small staircase on the balcony on the first floor to the small beach. The door is the koka cruise directly on the boat to go to sea, or rent a kayak to row in the sea. The other cruise company is not far from Capitain Tams. You can see it directly. Walk 100 meters from the beach. The two main islands to Laro are the two main companies that go to sea for half-day tours The door is the night market. There are several Asian and crooked Chinese meals. There are also performances in front of dinner buffet.. The room decoration and finishing are also very comfortable, overall it is still very good. The only thing is that the wifi is too bad, intermittent, and then there is 2.5G traffic, and it will be gone in a while.

Everything is expensive when you travel to the Cook Islands. The so-called buffet breakfast here is just bread, cereal, instant coffee, and one or two types of fruit. Everything else costs extra. However, the environment is quite nice. The beach to the right of the hotel is a great spot for snorkeling, with lots of fish.

Our lovely home has been fully modernised, and is suitable for a large family or group of friends. The house is very spacious, and can comfortably sleep 8, with a sofa bed for an additional 2 if needed. The kitchen has new appliances, the 2 bathrooms are brand new, and there is a third separate toilet. The location is elevated on the hillside above the airport, and adults and kids alike will enjoy watching the planes come and go. Although located away from the hussle and bustle, it is less than 10 minutes to Avarua township and 7 minutes to a swim at Black Rock. The large deck provides a restful location to relax, read a book, have a beer or cocktail, and enjoy the views and sunsets. Edgewater is a very large resort about a 10 minute drive from the airport. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Although we arrived at 7:30 am, they stored our bags and we were given full use of their facilities plus breakfast until check in time. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting next to the beach which has white sand areas and great snorkelling reefs. There was a good variety of food and we enjoyed all our meals. We often shared a meal as they can be quite large servings & we took advantage of the happy cocktail hour between 5 6 pm each day where cocktails are $12 ea. Our king bed room was spacious, clean and serviced each day of our one week stay. However, our room was very close to the pool, restaurant and events hut so we could hear the pool noise and the nightly live music. Luckily all noise ceased at about 10 pm. You also have to be prepared for the early morning crowing of the resident roosters! Dogs, cats & chickens roam freely around the resort and are just an integral part of Cook Is life. The resort has a full tour booking service which we us used. All transfers, taxis and the local island buses pulled into the resort on time. There are so many activities on offer at the resort, e g, island dancing, ukulele, sarong tying, cooking lessons and free fire and cultural shows that you could just spend a lot of time here. Our stay was to celebrate my wife's birthday and the staff did that in style with a special free cocktail and canapes evening for guests celebrating special occasions and for loyalty guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Edgewater and would recommend it to family and friends.

For our stay of 1 week in the garden Villa was everything you need on the ground. A kitchen with all the tools you need to self-service were available. Breakfast is sufficient.. There were toast, musli, fresh fruit, yoghurt and 2 different juices. A few times still bananas smoothie.. everything in everything a good stay.

We had two rooms for our family. The beach suite was very spacious and had an amazing view of the lagoon. The beach was so calm and beautiful. We loved the kayaking and paddle boarding. The food was good but after a few days we were sick of the menu. Luckily the location is great and you can walk to other restaurants.

This is not a hotel, more like a famous hotel. The white waiter is not good, the nose is up, the local waiter is very nice. The only good thing is that the location is very convenient, next to the small night market, small supermarket, two cruise companies going to the sea are right next to it. I think it would be better to choose a real hotel. After all, it is not very far away to have a five-star, and the price is not much worse.

This hotel is set behind the main street so I recommend getting a car or scooter rental if you stay here. This is a great accommodation- the best amenity is the washer and dryer, followed by a full kitchen to do our own cooking.  It’s a small team looking after guests and they’re so delightful. Sane (saa-neh), Nancy, and Joseph make a great team. Nancy gives strong massages at the on-site spa.  We could also help ourselves to any of the many fruit trees around!

This resort fitted my purpose well. Love this adults only resort and location just right on the beach. Each villa is stand alone with your own entrance & patio area which is what I like. You are not attached with other rooms or share space. Facilities inside the room just same as the pictures. Good value & room price, includes breakfast. Overall, a clean & tidy complex, friendly staff, good size swimming pool. I definitely will choose Crown beach resort again.

We had a fantastic time - the pool, lagoon, cocktails and food were all excellent - but the staff were hands down the best part of our stay. They were all kind, friendly and considerate, and remembered everyone's name. My pedicure & massage were also wonderful. We are definitely returning for another visit.

They were all kind, friendly and considerate, and remembered everyone's name. My pedicure & massage were also wonderful. We are definitely returning for another visit.

Our stay at Moana Sands Villa was exceptional. The accommodation was spacious and furnished, with all the amenities we needed. Opening the lounge door to the beach was simply magical. Having a 24-hour supermarket nearby was incredibly convenient, and the nearby cafe and take-away shop were fantastic. Overall, a perfect getaway destination that we can't wait to return to.

The Edgewater Resort & Spa

Edgewater is a very large resort about a 10 minute drive from the airport. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Although we arrived at 7:30 am, they stored our bags and we were given full use of their facilities plus breakfast until check in time. The restaurant is in a beautiful setting next to the beach which has white sand areas and great snorkelling reefs. There was a good variety of food and we enjoyed all our meals. We often shared a meal as they can be quite large servings & we took advantage of the happy cocktail hour between 5 6 pm each day where cocktails are $12 ea. Our king bed room was spacious, clean and serviced each day of our one week stay. However, our room was very close to the pool, restaurant and events hut so we could hear the pool noise and the nightly live music. Luckily all noise ceased at about 10 pm. You also have to be prepared for the early morning crowing of the resident roosters! Dogs, cats & chickens roam freely around the resort and are just an integral part of Cook Is life. The resort has a full tour booking service which we us used. All transfers, taxis and the local island buses pulled into the resort on time. There are so many activities on offer at the resort, e g, island dancing, ukulele, sarong tying, cooking lessons and free fire and cultural shows that you could just spend a lot of time here. Our stay was to celebrate my wife's birthday and the staff did that in style with a special free cocktail and canapes evening for guests celebrating special occasions and for loyalty guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Edgewater and would recommend it to family and friends.

Everything is expensive when you travel to the Cook Islands. The so-called buffet breakfast here is just bread, cereal, instant coffee, and one or two types of fruit. Everything else costs extra. However, the environment is quite nice. The beach to the right of the hotel is a great spot for snorkeling, with lots of fish.

The hotel is right next to Little Polynesian, convenient location, you can take the bus to the town, the beach is very beautiful, can enjoy the ocean view directly from room. The room is clean, with cutlery and a kettle, but the bath water is not stable.

This resort fitted my purpose well. Love this adults only resort and location just right on the beach. Each villa is stand alone with your own entrance & patio area which is what I like. You are not attached with other rooms or share space. Facilities inside the room just same as the pictures. Good value & room price, includes breakfast. Overall, a clean & tidy complex, friendly staff, good size swimming pool. I definitely will choose Crown beach resort again.

This hotel is really convenient for the airport. Rarotonga's scenery isn't nearly as stunning as Aitutaki's; most activities here involve going out on the water rather than just relaxing at the hotel. If you're going to the Cook Islands, Aitutaki is definitely the highlight, so this hotel is perfect for a stopover. You can spend the day taking the bus to explore the beaches on the south side of the island, then grab a meal at one of the hotel's restaurants, and take a taxi back. Since flights to Aitutaki are on a fixed schedule, you'll definitely need to spend at least one day in Rarotonga. The hotel also offers luggage storage. At $12 a bag, I think it's more reliable than the airport lockers. Plus, it's only a two-minute walk away.
