The hotel lobby and amenities are great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. There are lots of towels at the swimming pool and the jacuzzi is big enough for a number of people soaking in it together. Two big containers of water are ready for you in the lobby. The room is dated; the screen door requires some work. Water comes out from both the shower head and faucet when taking showers. Overall, we had a good time.

Our first time staying downtown Palm Springs and we loved it! The hotel was gorgeous (just like the photos!) Walking distance to the main ***** with lots of restaurant & shopping options, a weekly Thursday night street festival/market and even a Grocery outlet across the street where we were able to stock up on some low cost snacks/drinks. When checking in the staff saw we were staying for 6 nights so ensured we had a quiet room, away from the street - which was thoughtful and appreciated. The breakfast buffet was AMAZING. The pool and pool bar with Happy Hour has us feeling like we were in Mexico. As you can probably tell, my fiancé and I loved our stay and will most definitely be back again!

Palm Desert Suites more than exceeded my expectations! No contact check-in was very easy. The staff replied quickly to any of my texts. The room was spacious, newly remodeled with a full kitchen! There was a full sized refrigerator and stove, microwave, dishwasher, toaster oven and coffee maker. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very clean. The bathroom was large with double sinks and sparkling clean. The location was quiet with a pool close by. Really lovely place! Highly recommended! Palm Desert Suites will absolutely be on the top of my list the next time I stay in Palm Desert! The big bonus, the price was excellent! Thanks!!

I was very satisfied with my stay at Grand Hi Lai Hotel. I could feel their thoughtfulness and professionalism from the moment I arrived. Breakfast needs to be paid for order. It costs about 15-20 dollars. There is a parking lot next to it, but no one tells you to charge it. The final bill is $ 40 a day. It is really not understandable. This hotel is misleading or ambiguous. The price is misleading for invisible consumption. I rarely comment on it. I have stayed at this hotel and ca n’t help reminding you not to be misled by the 4.7 rating. In fact, the feeling is quite bad. Pillows and quilts have a heavy smell. It is suspected that it was not cleaned or not changed at all. The service is not as warm as the ordinary Hampton inn or best western. Although it is a bit new, it is full of opportunism, the facilities are very cheap, and it is annoying. It's clear that mineral water is charged, but it says FRED, and it hides the D behind so that you can't see it. It is mistaken for FREE. The typical brush is small and smart, and the small price tag is affixed to the bottle cap. Some brush all kinds of small and smart hotels, even the name is a bit suspicion of plagiarism crown, in the future will not live in this hotel.

First time, advised manager of cleanliness issues and he gave us a ton of points back for his apology and I felt he was sincere. Second time, got a much better deal on Trip.com but alas... same same: room not very clean; mold in tub, bottom of tub dirty, sink not drain, blood on floor and carpet, coffee maker very very dirty and more. Again, manager very sincere in his apology but honestly, he's either not saying anything to his staff or, like many other employers these days, he has to take what he can get for staff. Super sad - location is great and SAFE, breakfast is great (and free/included) and rooms could be super nice. I would rather lose coins than upload the photos I took -- you'd never want to go and MAYBE improvements have been made this time.

The uncle at the front desk was super enthusiastic, introduced us to local restaurants, and talked about the Texas he had been to. . . Uncle said that the hotel is not in downtown Palm Springs, it is relatively dark outside, it is best to drive out at night, but it is safe here, don't worry. Room facilities are average, but clean is fine. Breakfast was pretty good, milk and orange juice were plentiful, and many guests took it to the room to eat. The highlight of the hotel is the swimming pool, which opens from 8 am to 9 pm. There are two large pools and two small spa pools, which are very suitable for taking pictures.

Even the breakfast tray was still there when I came back,. Also the television does not go above a certain volume so as not to disturb others. I see that as discrimination against those who are hearing impaired. And the breakfast was so so. Stale pastries. Not fresh baked. Taste like out of a package, Yogurt was good though! There should also be instructions for the buttons for the fireplace and how to work the shower. Still.... I would stay again.

Overall I feel satisfied with my stay some the furniture in our room was bit rundown especially the little sofa in the bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and was clean .
