I had a fantabulous stay at Ibis Hotel Sharq. The location was great and at the central of the city, close to transport links. The room was clean and well maintained. Housekeeping was fantastic too. On my first night, the food I ordered from the restaurant was overly salted and I complained. Come and see how all the staff were apologising and going above normal to ensure such never repeated itself. They made it up to me by offering me a free lunch later. Not only that, all the restaurant staff were so nice and polite, always welcoming me with smiles and asking what they could do to make my stay more enjoyable. Special thanks to these restaurant staff: Lawrence Hung Chef Ahmed Dinar Kamlesh Ibrahim It was a home away from home experience for me, courtesy of all the above staff. The food was delicious and I had a lot of Options to choose from. No boring moment at all. Kudos to the staff at the reception too. Definitely, I will be looking for Ibis hotels going forward.

Everything is good, food, accommodation and transportation are all very good. The surrounding environment, how should I say, is still very different from that in China. However, you are in Kuwait, so there is no need to compare it with China. There is no comparison. Basically, the environment in Kuwait, hey, you will know it after you come and see it. Relatively speaking, it is quiet and comfortable here, because after all, it is an early house with complete facilities. It is better and less modern. I recommend the gym, sweat steam and dry steam on the 23rd floor. The swimming pool is too small to go there. It is all on the 23rd floor.

The public areas of the hotel are all in a great environment, and there is a Starbucks in the lobby. The restaurant on the second floor has great breakfast. Of course, the reception and service in the restaurant are also great. The hotel's swimming pool is on the top floor. The infinity pool can also see the Persian Gulf in the distance. There is also a hot spring pool. The scenery and service are so comfortable that you can't walk. I recommend you to come here.

Was able to check in early, and am so thankful as I had a long flight in! I didn’t get their names but the Filipino woman at the front desk, and the staff in the breakfast room, plus the cleaning staff - all amazed me with their high level of professionalism and helpfulness! Our stay at Residence Inn Kuwait City was absolutely outstanding. The hotel is perfectly located in a very central area, making it extremely convenient to get around Kuwait. You can truly feel that every detail has been thoughtfully taken care of—nothing was missing, and everything was designed to make the stay as pleasant as possible. The breakfast was delicious and of very high quality. A special thanks to Chef Ali, who was incredibly kind and involved. He went out of his way to prepare special dishes and made sure everything was perfect, which really made our mornings extra special. The staff truly deserves all the praise. From the lobby team to the reception staff, every single person was super, super kind, warm, and welcoming. They were genuinely involved, always thinking along with us and ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel truly cared for. As a wonderful final touch, we were even offered a free taxi to the airport. Our driver, Mohammed Riyaz, was extremely friendly and professional, which was the perfect ending to our stay. This hotel is an absolute must if you are staying in Kuwait. We would definitely return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the city!

Although the room was large, it felt like a freezer. On Trip, it said they would pick us up from the airport for free. I'm not sure if the problem was with Trip or the hotel, but after paying for a non-cancellable reservation, they charged us 30 euros for the transfer. We mentioned it to both of them, but neither Trip nor the hotel has corrected it.

The location is not the best but still ideal. However, the facilities are insufficient. The swimming pool is often closed and there is not enough hot water.

I arrived at the hotel at exactly 4 pm, but unfortunately I did not enter the room until after the Maghrib prayer because the room was not ready, according to the receptionist. This is unacceptable and not in Australia.
