An absolute paradise for families! We had an amazing stay at Astoria Palawan. The highlight for the kids (and adults!) was definitely the Palawan Waterpark, which kept everyone entertained for hours. The resort grounds are beautifully maintained, the rooms are spacious and clean, and the beach view is stunning. Special shoutout to the staff who were incredibly accommodating and always greeted us with warm smiles. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Puerto Princesa!

We had an amazing stay at Blue Lagoon Inn & Suites. The hotel is located in the heart of Puerto Princesa. The place is beautiful and calm, the staff is nice and friendly. Also, the location is great, less than 5 minutes away from the main road with all the restaurants and shops. The best highlight was the swimming pool. We really enjoyed it! Highly recommended!

We only stayed here for 2 nights on arrival to PP, then headed to El Nido by van after a visit to the underground river. Staff organised our tour and transport. facilities were brilliant, staff were freindly and efficient. Food was scrumptious. Pool area is beautiful at night. room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable. Highly recommend staying here.

The restaurant could be better ( found a hair in my food once, but they replaced it quickly, it can happen ~) The room was really comfy! Be aware of dogs on the street to the hotel, I advise to take an bike to avoid them.

What a stay! The staff are so unbelievably welcoming and friendly. Upon arrival you’re greeted by happy members of staff and a welcome drink. Although they give you lots of information at the beginning they helpfully provide an A4 piece of paper with it all on afterwards so you don’t forget. After quite a disastrous day of travel for us, all of it was forgotten thanks to the staff and beautifulness of the hotel. They were also the only hotel we stayed at (we’ve stayed at many while travelling around Philippines) that acknowledged and cared about the fact it was our honeymoon. They also assisted with our booking of taxis and the underground river tour (highly recommend!). On the beach they also offer free kayak hire for guests. Thank you for a lovely stay! Highly recommend this hotel.

The location I would say for me was perfect. It's away from the crazy busy streets and rather peaceful. The gardens and surroundings are inside the resort at spectacular and you feel like just staying there and relaxing next to the pool. Service was very good with extremely friendly staff. I really would recommend this place. Excellent value for money and the food in the restaurant on site is also extremely tasty. The only negative thing I unfortunately must mention and this annoyed me a bit is the fact that the equipment in the gym room was out of order and when I asked about it twice was told it is broken and can not be fixed... and it was one of the reasons I chose this place because it had a place where I could do some excersizes in the morning. But apart from that it really is an amazing place and just about a 1km walk from one of the main streets with a lot of restaurants and bars.

Citadel (the name of one of the owners) is probably the ”best for the money” mini-resort in Puerto Princesa! My room had a king bed, was comfortable and included satellite TV, a fridge and sink area. The grounds a pool are clean, neat and look great. The pool is amazing for a property size. Even though the Citadel is located 1.5km away from one of the main roads and the Robinson's Mall there are small food stores nearby for basic needs. It's easy to get a tricycle from the road near the property to just about anywhere in the Puerto area. Do ask one of the locals what the fare should be to the placey you want to go. Francois and Citadel, the owners are very nice and helpful. You will enjoy your at the Citadel! BONUS TIP: Just up the road (north) to the left is a food store and cafe on the right side of the road. Inside is a dental office run by Dr Joy Zapanta. She offers a full range of dental services. I got my teeth cleaned for about US$20. I could see dental tourism as a future business for Dr Joy. Enjoy your stay at the Citaldel and get all your dental work done!

When we go out of the room in the morning, the breakfast is already served hot in a wooden classic dining table near the sala, not like when we check-in in big hotels where we have to go downstairs for bfast and line-up. When the tour guides come, we can even hear them from our room as the concierge was near us.

There are a total of 6 beds, which can accommodate eight people. It is very convenient for one family to live here. After getting off the airport, you can arrive quickly by taxi. The room is very similar to the photo, very real. The room is very clean, it can be seen that it is cleaned every day, and some corners are very clean. The fly in the ointment is the sound insulation here, the effect is not very satisfactory, but the impact is not big, I hope the landlord can make more corrections to do better. Nice hotel and a great location. It was a good experience overall, but the room needed a refresh and we had ants in our room. The couch, curtains, and table cloth needed a really good cleaning, or even better, replacing. Not important for us, but we didn't see an elevator. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as they let us have our free breakfast for dinner as we were leaving very early in the morning.

The location is very convenient since it was just in front of Robinsons Palawan. Check in process was smooth as the staff already checked us in prior to arriving. The complimentary airport transfer was good. The driver was on time. Just had a few hiccups when I initially reserved for a complimentary airport transfer as the socmed admin seems puzzled at first. But just a minor flaw. The room was huge. The complimentary breakfast was excellent especially it’s a buffet. Extra stars for being flexible, was able to give us a packed breakfast since we are leaving early morning. Extra stars also for the helpful and proactive staff. Overall, it was a great stay and would book again when I go back to Puerto Princesa.

My husband and I stayed in one of the little huts with our own deck. It was so nice to relax in the hammock. Everything was clean and the staff were very quick to help if you needed something. The beds and pillows were comfortable. The food was delicious and they were able to make vegan for me. We walked down to the beach and back which I enjoyed because it was good exercise. The walk to the beach can be steep at times so wouldn't be good for someone with mobility issues. We loved it here and would definitely go back and recommend it to our friends.

The hotel is nice, the room was big, we did switch room on second day for better view. The hotel was literally at 100% occupancy. The housekeeping was very efficient and so is the repair team. The location is very remote with not much around, so if you want to just relax, swim, and read a book, this is the perfect location. The hotel has a restaurant, a pool bar, a spa, a 24 hours gym, a pickle ball court, a large outdoor pool, and direct access to beach. On the positive side, the staff are so nice, very friendly, attend to your needs very efficiently. Honestly, I am super impressed that my room is always clean on time, there are always clean towels at the pool, this is extremely challenging for a fully booked hotel, which also was hosting a wedding and a conference during Valentine’s Day weekend and Chinese new years at the same time. On the negatives side, the carpet was dirty in both rooms, the AC was leaking and the toilet seat was broken, both were fixed right away. Because it is remote, we ate most of our meals in the hotel. The F&B program was not very well designed, options were limited for both breakfast and dinner buffet; after 3 days it feels a little like eating canteen food. Both my son and husband had salad on first day, while I only ate cooked food, so they were both pretty sick for the rest of the stay. Meanwhile, the operation team at the restaurant was clearly not ready for full occupancy, any order could easily take ＞45 mins and many local dishes were not available for days because lacking of LOCAL ingredients. They even ran out of ice cream at dinner, something that could have been stocked well in advance, unlike fresh vegetables. So any meal could take 1.5 - 2.0 hours. Again, the ataff was wonderful, they were doing everything they can to help. However, the management team really need to plan better for high season.

This is our first trip in Palawan with family. We stayed here for three days and two nights. The location is too far from the city we always rent a tricycle which cost 100 pesos one way and maximum of 4 passengers but we had a beautiful stay here. The rooms are affordable and very clean. We had a free breakfast and this was well presented and plenty of choice. The people are very kind and friendly.

The place itself was good and the room was nice and clean but the bed was a little small and my husband is quite tall. There was a decent little swimming pool downstairs. We were only there for one night so didn’t really explore the local area but booked the firefly tour through the hotel which was a lovely little excursion. The breakfast was good and there were some decent veggie options on the standard menu!

It was our return from El Nido and stay for 1 night then got the flight back to our country, the only thing is there is no ATM around so we will need to go to the shopping mall for cash out, other then that the wifi is good and the receptionist is really helpful. She reserved a van for us to go to the airport the other morning for free. I will definitely come back again

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights before heading to El Nido. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. The view from the pool, overlooking Honda Bay, is simply breathtaking. The hotel offers complimentary airport transfers and shuttle service to/from Robinson's Mall. You can also conveniently book a minivan to El Nido directly through them. In my opinion, the breakfast was a bit underwhelming. Options included scrambled eggs/omelets, cereal, bread, jams, and butter. There was very little fruit and only one salad. The rice, soups, and other dishes weren't particularly appealing to a European palate (the meat and fish were too overcooked). However, the à la carte menu for dinner and lunch (which is paid) was, on the contrary, very delicious. The hotel itself is quite old. The furniture in the rooms shows its age. There was also a slight musty smell, although the cleanliness was maintained. The staff were incredibly pleasant and responsive. Overall, the hotel is suitable for 1-2 nights, but don't rely too heavily on the photos.

A hidden paradise!  Located in a kinda secluded and very peaceful brgy, this beautiful work of art resort saved us from being grumpy after getting stuck in the middle of typhoon. Every thing was well thought, from the details to your needs, name it and its there.  Food was good and every day they offer different breakfast selections and wow! Delish!  Pool bar is a great touch too and the cocktails esp the sangria was delicious!  We’re travellers and this is the first time we fell inlove with a resort. We spent a wonderful 3 days at Denika's suits. Manager Francisco and his team kindly met us at the airport at 9 pm and took us safely to the hotel for free. We got 2 magnificent bungalows. They are exactly as described on the website and even better. Large, clean, cozy. The next day, the same manager took us to a crocodile farm and shopping for a small fee. We ordered a delicious dinner at the hotel. On the day of departure, Francisco drove us to our meeting point with the carrier to El Nido. The unpunctual bus driver arrived an hour late. The manager kindly provided us with his car to wait. Many thanks to him and his entire team for their service and help. The hotel is located far from the center, but this did not affect our stay in any way. Very large and well-kept area. Recommend for booking.

The hotel offers lovely complimentary touches like free lemon tea in the fridge, a bag, a scarf, and local coffee. In the evenings, they bring pastries to your room. The coconut balls are absolutely amazing! During the day, there are free snacks and refreshing drinks. There's also a happy hour – buy one cocktail, get one free. We experienced the dinner buffet, which was excellent! You can even try their famous suckling pig. Breakfast offers something for every taste! There's also a restaurant on the second floor with incredibly large and delicious dishes. The hotel's massage service was also great; you can choose between a 1-hour or 1.5-hour session. They offer free bicycles and boats. Definitely take a boat ride; you might spot sea urchins, starfish, and small fish. You can use the bikes to explore the town. The gym is excellent, with everything you need, plus air conditioning, towels, and water! The pool is clean, and the water temperature is very comfortable. Archery is also free. Swimming from the shore in the sea can be a bit challenging as it's very shallow, but you can take a boat out to deeper water for a swim. And the sunrises here are incredibly beautiful! If you want to visit the underground river or other attractions, you can arrange a tour and rent a car at reception. It might be more expensive than in town, but you save a lot of time. We rented a car and drove to the beach ourselves. It was an hour's scenic drive, and you're there. They even provided us with a bag of beach towels for the trip. During our 4-day stay, we never felt any discomfort; everything here is designed for guests. The staff are the most smiling and responsive! We will definitely return to this hotel chain again!!! Thank you!

This is an excellent hotel. Both the service and the room's facilities, hardware and software, are outstanding. They offer welcome coconuts, a minibar with healthy drinks, and even turn-down service at night. The TV has all major platforms and free movies. The room feels spacious and the bed is large and comfortable. All staff members, from the front desk to the restaurant and even the lifeguards, are friendly and polite. I really appreciate their conversations and service. However, I must mention that the hotel is currently in a 'soft-run' phase. During the day, there's a lot of ongoing renovation and occasional construction noise in various areas, and the spa is not yet complete. The dining options are limited (though every dish I had was delicious). Also, the rooms have a smart power detection system that automatically shuts off power, including the mini-fridge, when no one is in the room. This means drinks can't stay cold all the time, and charging your phone while you're out of the room isn't reliable. Despite these points, I still highly recommend this place. The atmosphere is relaxing, perfect for unwinding and taking peaceful walks by the sea – it's truly wonderful.

The bunk beds were a fantastic addition, especially for families, and the main bed was super comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is its location. There are plenty of food options nearby, and the famous Robinsons Shopping Mall is just next door, making everything very convenient. The breakfast was delicious with a good variety of choices, and the rooftop pool was absolutely amazing - perfect for relaxing after a long day. The child playroom and gym facilities were also well-equipped and enjoyable. We also tried the in-house massage spa, which was a very relaxing and satisfying experience.

While hotel horror stories of rude staff and poor hygiene are all too common, my experience here was the exact opposite—a masterclass in integrity. I stayed for two days before heading to El Nido. While en route to my next destination, I received a call from the receptionist informing me that I’d left an envelope of cash in the room vault. She assured me it would be sealed and kept safe until my return. Upon my arrival back, the envelope was returned to me exactly as left. I had the pleasure of meeting Jessa Olam, whose honesty and professionalism truly saved my trip. To top it off, the hotel kindly provided a complimentary airport transfer as a final gesture of hospitality. As for the stay, the rooms were spotlessly clean with excellent water pressure in the showers. There was a lovely pool area perfect for a quick dip and relaxing with drinks from the on-site restaurant. The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient—just 2 minutes from the airport and 4 minutes from the local dining and nightlife hub. I will definitely be staying here again!
