It is highly recommended for travelers coming to Palawan to stay at this novel hotel with very good quality staff. The room is clean and does not feel damp! The seat is near the beach, not noisy or noisy, I like it here very much! Breakfast and lunch were both delicious~ We couldn't think of any shortcomings😅 The waiter was very considerate, knowing that we were going to participate in the island hopping trip, and helped us prepare bath towels👏 It was not inferior to the Princess Garden five-star hotel we stayed at before! The only thing I have to say is... Once it is 100% covered, I will definitely not want to go home again🤣

The staff is certainly the strong point of the resort, always smiling and always accommodating. Pool with sea view, and breakfast with a view. Varied buffet breakfast. Modern, spacious and clean room. It is possible to book the various tours and even the scooter at the property. Free airport shuttle.

WE HAD A GREAT, WONDERFUL AND MEMORABLE TIME AS A FAMILY. THEY SET UP A ROMANTIC DINNER AS A SURPRISE FOR ME THAT MADE ME CRY. (THANK YOU TO SIR DAN WHO SERVED US THE DINNER, HE IS SO NICE, AND TO CHEF ACE, THE FOOD IS AMAZING!) ME AND MY HUSBAND LOVED THE TAGBANUA COFFEE, SHOULD TRY IT! THE SERVICE IS EXCELLENT! ALL STAFF IS VERY FRIENDLY. THE ROOM IS VERY CLEAN AND THE BED IS BIG AND COMFY. BIG THANK TO THE GENERAL MANAGER SIR MIKE WHO ORGANIZE EVERYTHING FOR US..

We spent two nights here and wished we had more! We were so warmly welcomed by all friendly & kind staff. We cannot speak more highly of our stay; we felt truly looked after. We had wonderful meals and drinks at the Hunt Restaurant, relaxing swims and kayaking and cycling (free). Our stay was incredibly peaceful. The facilities are great and modern and the rooms are super clean. The beds and pillows are exceptional! Breakfast buffet was great also! They even offered to pack our breakfast on the morning we left as we had an early flight and would miss out on the buffet. You’ll be guaranteed to leave feeling rejuvenated.

We stayed at The Funny Lion in Peurto Princesa in April. It was the perfect stay. The resort is new, and is beautiful from the minute you enter the grounds. The room is large with big comfortable beds and everything you need including a large flat screen TV, filtered water, fresh fruit and a quiet air con system. It was immaculately clean. Rooms are serviced daily including a turn down service at 6:30pm. The pool and restaurant are stunning, situated on the beach edge, food in the restaurant is lovely and room price includes a full buffet breakfast. All amazing and cannot be faulted. The most incredible part of our stay however were the staff. Nothing is a problem and they go out of their way to accommodate any requests. We will definitely be back but next time will stay longer. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

We enjoy our family stay! Big thanks to The Funny Lion staff. The room is very new and spacious, they also made a surprise welcome towel set up. The housekeeping team Sam and Peter give us turndown sweets cookies and fresh juice. It was so delicious!

I stayed at The Funny Lion Puerto Princesa and I must stay that its a 5 star experience from a breathtaking view of the sunsets and sunrise and very welcoming staff there smiles completes my stay in the hotel, I will recommend this to my friends and I cant wait to comeback to you world class beautiful paradise a place that always feels like home.

On my early morning beach walk today I came across a team of Funny Lion staff cleaning up the beach around their hotel in Puerto. Well done guys, you deserve credit and recognition for your efforts in helping to keep Palawan beautiful. Protecting the environment is more than just idle talk at the Funny Lion.
