We had a terrible experience with the services that the free bottled waters were only for IHG members and we are NOT informed beforehand or while we checked in. And the hotel officers were really indifferent when we tried to communicate about this isssue. We were told “NO one could get bottled waters unless he/ she is a IHG member”. We haven’t been treated so around any hotel in Japan or in the world under any hotels groups. This could be the worst experience we had over a small issue due to the ill communications with hotel service team. Very disappointed on such discriminating hotel policies and we would not be able consider IHG group in Japan anyhow. It was a cozy hotel with good location. But facilities are aged.

The room is clean and spacious and offers a good city view if you stay on a middle to high level. The provided service is good, and the checkout process is hassle-free. However, it's worth noting that there is no self-check-in available. On the downside, the hotel is a solid 10-minute walk from the JR station. Also, if you plan to explore the city center or visit food junctions, be prepared to walk a lot because they are about 1.2km from the hotel. On the other hand, it's important to note that the facilities are relatively limited as there are neither microwaves nor washing machines available, only laundry services with a premium price tag.

I’ve been to Sapporo several times and also wanted to stay at this hotel. Location is very convenient, just next to JR Sapporo station, driving there is easy as well. Parking for a small fee on site without the hassle of going outdoors is a plus as it is very cold outside during this period. Hotel is surrounded by many stores and restaurants, there are plenty to choose from. Breakfast is average, but the view is really nice. The nearby restaurants make up for the average onsite breakfast. The view from our room was fantastic, day and night view of Sapporo is an eye catcher. The amenities they provide is also of good quality. The hotel could use some renovation as it is beginning to look dated. Also downside is that the onsen on the 22 floor requires additional fee. It would be great if hotel guest can use it for free. Overall a very nice hotel and I would definitely return.

Sapporo|0.29km from city center
It is located in the centre of Sapporo City. 10 minutes walk North you will find JR Sapporo Station and 10 minutes South you will find the busy commercial district of Susukino. If you are travel from the airport, the airport Liner bus stop is right in front of the hotel but the journey will take more than 90 minutes as there are quite a few stops before arriving at the hotel. Room is clean and tidy. Be sure to book the breakfast if available. It costs 3300Yen if pay separately at the hotel but the breakfast at the Northern Terrace is one of the best buffet breakfast I have ever tasted.

Great location, comfortable, spacious and quiet room. The best part is the staff very helpful in making dinner reservations since i cant speak Japanese. The buffet breakfast is delicious with many varieties and selections. One area to improve is if the hotel could provide drinking water or water refill services, then it will make the stay perfect.

Highly recommend this hotel during winter as it’s connected to Sapporo Station for your daily commute and meals! Do travel via GF to hotel with luggages as from B1 there are flight of stairs you have to carry your luggage up and down. Room was spacious, enough for us to open up 3 big luggages with a room of 3 sleeping. Staff were friendly and responsive! The underground walkway can link through to Odori station too!

Very satisfied. I don't know if it has been upgraded, but I was assigned to the 14th floor, the highest floor. The room is very large, the layout is very good, the dynamic and static are separated, and the dry and wet are separated. Clean and tidy, breakfast is rich. Opposite the hotel is Odori Park, which is very lively on weekends. It's about a 20-minute walk from Sapporo Station.

It's just outside the subway station. It looks grand and grand, and you can see the high construction standards. The staff is well trained, responds quickly, handles problems very professionally, and handles some details very well. The room facing the park is very quiet, and the autumn scenery outside the window is intoxicating. For breakfast, I tried the Japanese set meals on the top floor. The quality was good. My favorite was the fried cod. However, the room facilities are old and have many flaws: the quilt does not use a quilt cover, but the quilt is added with cotton wool, which I personally dislike. The cotton wool is very dirty and will itch when it comes into contact with the skin; the shower needs to be adjusted with two faucets of hot and cold water, which is very troublesome to operate. , it is easy to be scalded by hot water; the toilet seat is like a soldering iron, and the power cannot be cut off and the heat cannot be adjusted, even if it is covered with a towel; the amount of cold water in the washbasin is extremely small

The hotel reminded me of New York City's Empire State Building with the Art Deco motif. It's an old classic look which I found to be very appealing. Location wise it's less than 10 minutes on foot from Sapporo station. There are a number of tourist, shopping, nightlife and restaurant spots all within walking distance. The view from the room was spectacular and everything was very clean. The breakfast, especially the waffle station, was delicious and offered a wide variety of western and Asian dishes.

We got a complimentary upgrade to a large room with more amenities like washing machines and a simple kitchen. It was a nice surprise and we truly enjoyed our stay. The location is excellent - convenient to the main shopping area with plenty of F&B choices. The sound insulation is good and we didn’t hear any noise ate late night. The bathing area is nice and clean. We highly recommend this hotel.

The best hotel. It is a very good location. Walk to the tourist area and the TV tower is not far + it is a hotel with hot springs available + the breakfast room on the ground floor is very cute (There are many breakfast rooms to choose from. But I chose the ground floor because it's cute) + There's parking. The staff speak and smile very well. + The breakfast is very delicious. + As shown in the picture is the walkway into the Hot Spring room. Gives a very relaxing feeling.

Point is written in D like this: Bonus points: 1. The location is very convenient, close to the shopping street, extra points 2. Compared with other Dormy Inn rooms, the rooms are larger, extra points Deduction points: 1. The hotel does not provide a milk vending machine after the general hot spring. Points will be deducted. 2. The hot spring area is smaller than other Dormy Inns, so points will be deducted. 3. The hot spring area and the washing area are very close, which may cause embarrassment and lead to points deduction.

I visited for the first time in 5 years, so I chose this because there is a pool. Because the pool outside was not open, there were many people on the day trip and the pool in the pool was full. I was able to swim until 21 o'clock so I was empty at night. It was a bit troublesome building structure to go to the hot spring from the pool. It was a pity that dinner could only choose Viking in the corona. The menu was the same every day for three times. The roast beef was different every day. I would like to improve the menu that incorporates a little more Hokkaido vegetables (steamed corn and vegetables). The stab was also bonito, sweet shrimp, and uh, sorry. The crab was delicious. I had a business hotel with a ikra, so I was sorry to feel expensive for 4000 yen dinner. I think the price of lunch buffet is reasonable. The chef will divide you in the Viking corner, but I didn't know how to line up and I was troubled. There was a green tape on the floor, but it was not lined up along it and there was 々 when it was sideways. Even if it was lined up, it was misunderstood or disgusting. I think the child's Viking menu should be made to another corner. It was troublesome to not eat potatoes and fried rice from the chef.

Our third time in the area but stayed here for the first time as most other hotels were more expensive. Sizeable twin room with charming view. Plenty of room amenities. Very hospitable staff. Some spoke excellent English. Buffet dinner and breakfast were luxuorious. We saw four deers eating vitually feets outside the restaurant window during dinner as well as a big raccoon. The Onsen was maintained in the most respectful manner. Free harp concert in the evening was a grateful bonus. We enjoyed thoroughly.

Jozankei Onsen Sapporo|18.86km from city center
We stayed at Jozankei Daiichi Hotel Suizantei in early January 2023 for 1 night - our first time here. We took the Kappa Liner Bus from Sapporo station and it was a very pleasant & scenic ride. Our bus ride was at 1215 noon & it took a bit over an hour. We chose this bus line because their bus stop is directly in front of this hotel. We arrived at approx. 1330hrs. There was a lot of snow on the ground and covering much of the front entrance, the trees, parked cars and the hotel itself. The lobby looks inviting and spacious. Check-in was very efficient. Let me say now that we are from Hawaii and we don't speak Japanese, but if there was any communication problem, it was minimal as most of the citizens here can speak a small amount or understand some English. On the frontside of the lobby is a grand room with many padded chairs & tables for relaxing, reading or conversing. On the left side of the lobby, there's a short stairway going down to a very nice & large lounge area on the right; and, a smaller coffee/pastry area on the left. The pastries here are exquisite & only a limited amount is prepared because this smaller section closes very early after lunch. Now the larger lounge area on the rightside is truly worth exploring. As soon as you enter, there is a long bar/counter where an attendant is always preparing sushi or pasty/small desserts. There is room with sofas & chairs, and self-serve coffee & a variety of teas. In the late afternoon, there is a large variety of beer or sake on tap. There are also several small Tatami-like rooms for small gatherings on the side. Now the best part - everything in this room is complimentary! On the 2nd level is a relaxation lounge area with massage chairs, a restaurant and a very nice large gift shop. I think that there is another restaurant, but it may have been under renovation at this time. After checking in, we walked across the street to a small, quaint Ramen shop. There is a counter for about 6-8 & a few small tables. Looked like a husband & wife operation. The menu was limited, but the food was wonderful (especially with the snow & cold air outside). When we first arrived, there were 3 other people - by the time we left, a crowd was waiting, standing around inside this tiny place. We couldn't venture very far in the neighboring area due to hilly & snowy roadway. This Ramen shop was truly a 'rescue joint' for us hungry, cold travelers. We opted for a room with a private Onsen. Our room was on the 6th floor and at the end of the hallway. This room was beautiful - very large - even the entry area was large. The main room was super spacious, had minimal furniture, but we really loved it. There was a small restroom with toilet and sink. At the end of the hall, there was larger room with a larger sink & shower. The onsen area was fabulous - an entry area for changing with towels, a separate section for washdown before entering the onsen. The onsen was spacious & grand with many windows that could slide o

I was very satisfied with my hot spring stay after a long time. The hospitality menu, such as ”honey buffet” in the lounge, was rich, the quality of the spring was smooth, and the amenities were full with a nice scent. The shower nozzle in the large communal bath was ”mirable” and I was able to experience the micromist, and I was able to try it before purchase. The room was renewed a few years ago, everywhere was clean and modern, and the restaurant was lightly partitioned in a small room with 4 pairs, and I was able to eat in a very calm atmosphere. I used a free shuttle bus. The information about the meeting place of Sapporo Station was a little difficult to understand. On the way back, when the shuttle bus departed from the hotel, the car waiting for the traffic light on the public road in front of the hotel slipped in the snow, the female staff who was out to see off the bus immediately rushed and did not hesitate. I was very impressed by the appearance of pushing the car from behind and helping, and I was impressed that it was an inn with a smile and a very nice staff who could worry about it even though it was young. There is also a ”day trip hot spring with lunch” by reservation system, so I definitely want to use it again! (▽`)

My family booked two rooms for a total of three nights. Dismayed that used mugs and wine glasses were not washed for the duration of the trip. Hotel was generous with toiletries. The location is close to Nakajima Koen Station, so you have to walk a little to get to Susukino, a downtown area. About 10 minutes. It is convenient because the airport bus is nearby, but there are not many buses, so if you don't check it, you may have to go to Susukino or Sapporo.. And there is a shuttle from the hotel to Sapporo. It's very nice to have a convenience store nearby. There is a park and a small stream, so it is good for a walk. The room was big and clean(even though it's a little bit old) and I think this hotel really care about cleanliness. But there were some smell of old bathroom, except this, it was perfect. Best Western Sapporo Odori Koen has good value for your money. We had a triple beds family room. It is somewhat small, but hotel rooms are typically small in Japanese standard. It should not be compared with Best Western Hotel sizes in North America. The hotel front desk lobby is nicely decorated. Hotel room has a good size desk, it has a mini fridge, kettle, drawer with instant coffee, creamer and sugar. It also has a window but not much to view. It is compact but well equipped. The front desk hotel staff were friendly, polite and spoke OK English. Vending machine on ground floor was stocked with a variety of drinks, including beers. Two microwave ovens were available on hotel lobby, so you can heat up some foods from convenient stores, but I preferred it was inside my room. I particularly like this hotel provided generous supplies of instant coffee, creamer, sugar, green tea bag, stir-stick at hotel lobby for guests, even though there were supplies in my room, so you can replenish without asking. In term of location, It is almost 17 - 18 minutes walk from Sapporo Station (about 1.3 to 1.4 km walk), it is somewhat far. However, if you know the area well, you may get to the hotel mostly in the underground shopping street from Sapporo Station, this is very important to know if you visit Sapporo in the winter. Once you checked into the hotel, it is conveniently near many attractions, including Sapporo TV Tower, Odori Koen, Tanukikoju Shopping Street (many restaurants there). If you get into the underground shopping street, the restaurant choices are almost unlimited.

Stayed 3 nights at this lovely hotel that only takes 2mins walk to Sapporo Central Station, which is also a Mega Mall. Plenty to shop and eat! Just alight at Sapporo Station via the green or blue lines using exit 17 (which takes another 5-10mins walk upon exiting the line). Then, turn left and cross a traffic light upon exiting 17 with the hotel on your left! Very efficient check in/out with helpful staff that speaks English; clean room which the size is just fine for 2 adult with 2 big luggage; nice bathroom with a sitting bathtub; love the amenities that are also made available at the lobby; and the free coffee, too. Also, the self-laundry room at the lobby is a saver! Shall return to the hotel again in our next trip to Sapporo and highly recommend this good and affordable boutique hotel!

Recently we were allowed to travel outside Aomori prefecture. We booked plane tickets and hotel 3 days in advance. Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by professional and friendly staff. Our temperatures were taken and all Covid precautions were maintained. Our room was spacious with a view of the mountains and a river. Bathroom was large with separate shower and bathtub. Robes and slippers were provided. Our stay included breakfast and it was delicious. Especially the made to order omelettes. Fresh fruit, vegetables, sweet breads and meats plus several Japanese traditional breakfast items were offered. Plastic gloves are given to use for the self serve items. Every morning we received a warm greeting and coffee from the manager. Everyone in the dining room and hotel made us feel welcomed. The hotel has a bus that shuttles every hour to the main Sapporo train station and shopping center. This was a great benefit of the hotel. We will go back and stay for the winter festival! Jozankei Onsen Sapporo|18.67km from city center
Instead of going abroad, it's just right to go to Corona. An inn like an overseas Lele Chateau. Small luxury hotels. A small and attentive inn. Facilities: The minimum required, but that's enough. The interior that has been removed. There is no reason to think why there is such a thing here. The flow line is also good. It is good that the room is not sitting on tatami mats. No souvenir shop. It's okay because you don't need it. There is a spa massage. It deviates from the so-called old hot spring inn. It resembles the atmosphere of the Le Re Chateau Ryokan in Taiwan and the Chateau Hotel in Loire, France. Bath: The room bath is also easy to use. There is one large communal bath and one open-air bath, but it's still good. You can put it in the open air immediately, your feet are safe, it's not cold, and even the elderly can use it alone without worrying about it. I like it more than having a light, clean, modern and old-fashioned lantern. Bar: You can use a free ticket for 1000 yen while talking to the dignified sommelier. They will also serve your favorite wine. Sweets corner: There is a corner like an airline lounge, such as Hokkaido sweets, cheese, and drinks. It was a wide variety and fun. Meals: It seems that the length of the dish from Nada Mango is the length of the dish. If you like Nadaman-san because you have a taste, please. Is it light? I like Wakuden-san and Mieda-san in Sapporo, so I preferred it to have a little more umami and sweetness. It seems that they will also respond to restricted meals, so I would be grateful if they would be close to my hope from the next time. Staff: It seems that there are plenty of drawers with knowledge and experience. It feels good. Hyatt, Zamitui Kyoto, Four Seasons, Peninsula Hong Kong story available lol. Parking: Even if you arrive by car, park yourself. There is no volleyball parking for some reason. It's good because it's close. strange. Why? Impression: There is no country smell. Beauty without clean and extra. When I heard that it was Hong Kong capital, Japanese people loved old Hong Kong, so I wanted to wear elegant in-house clothes that appeared in Chinese dramas and wanted to eat delicious Hong Kong food. However, I imagine that the Hong Kong Madame owner's sense will decide everything. ..

It was so delicious that I felt like I didn't have to go to Nijo market to eat seafood bowls. The public bath was also very beautiful, and the staff was in and out at a considerable frequency, so it was easy to speak when I was in trouble. The shampoo and conditioner in the public bath thought it was the taste of the trip, and it was hit this time! When I checked at the morning bath, I am considering the ”probancia” of the pelican soap now! The major hotel chain is managed and the customer service is good. The facilities are new and beautiful. The building is unified in Ebony tone and calm. The capsule was soundproof and the sound around was hardly heard. The capsule was relatively large and did not feel vibration because it was not lined up with the next capsule. The breakfast was delicious as usual business hotel. The unfortunate thing is that there is no public bath. The shower corner is partitioned by curtains, and it is a little unsettled. The location is also close to the customs area of suki, and the environment is not good. However, the price is cheap and you can spend it relaxing, so it is a hotel that can be recommended for those who want to press the hotel fee.
