Super hotel with extremely attentive staff - nothing was too much. Room was a good size & extremely comfortable. Stunning view and, if up early enough, could catch the sunrise. Everything you'd expect from a 5° hotel.
Lovely swimming pool & jacuzzi. Didn't use the gym.
Exceptional breakfast with a choice of cooked options as well as a very well stocked buffet. Choice of western & Indian.
Fabulous views. A good 15 minute walk to the Upper Mall (centre) but downhill on the way back.

We had booked 3 rooms for our family at Radisson Kufri from 30th April to 3rd May 2022. The property is new, clean and has a lovely view. I particularly liked the lobby which had an 'old English inn' appeal to it. The rooms are well-decorated and are decent sized. After reading some reviews on the internet, we had booked superior rooms but realized that they have a 'wall view'. Specially the superior rooms in the wing which has the restaurant are very dark because they have a wall very close to the window. If you are interested in a good view, then either request for superior rooms with valley view at the time of booking or book a delux room. We had one superior room in the restaurant wing which we were slightly unhappy about. The hotel upgraded us to a delux room in the other wing the next day after check-in and did not charge us anything extra for it. Really appreciate this! I would like to thank Siddharth, Aditya, Rahul and others for ensuring that we had a pleasant stay.
Considering that Radisson Kufri is a five-star property away from Shimla town, expect the food prices to be on the higher side. But the restaurant amazed us with yummy food during our entire stay. The breakfast buffet had an elaborate spread and everything was delicious. We also tried the dinner buffet on our last night and were again not disappointed by the quality and taste of food. Special thanks to Chef Rajesh Rana for himself checking on with us about the food quality and also the complimentary beetroot halwa which was very tasty. One of the family members was fasting on one of the days and had certain dietary restrictions which were catered to well by the chef.
Some things that the hotel can improve on in the future would be to add more staffs at the restaurant during breakfast (they are already working on this). The hotel can also carry out periodic inspections of the entire facility for regular maintenance. For example - There was a bit of a leakage into the bedroom from a small gap between the bathroom glass and the wall in one of the rooms that we stayed in.
Other than these minor issues, the staffs at Radisson Kufri left no stone unturned to delight us regularly with their service. I would definitely recommend staying here.

It was my first visit and I was booked for one day but ended up staying extra day. Staff is extremely helpful. This property is clean and with very relaxing ambiance. Great hotel, great location and courteous staff and its the hotel is a heritage building. You can feel the history. Room comfort and food outlets are excellent. Breakfast is good with mix of indian and western choices. Restaurant too offers the mix at great taste. Ver helpful staff and front desk. The hotel is located right next to the famous mall road of Shimla, walking distance, ***y shopping and food outlets available ***** the road including branded shopping. The only down side is there is no vehicle access to the entrance of the hotel due local restriction, no vehicle road. One have to climb up 250m stairs, the hotel provides help to pick you luggage. Physically challenged and the elderly will find it challenging. There is option to use public electric lift 500m away and walk to the hotel.

We stayed as a family of three (adults), and the room was spacious and comfortable. Above all, I think the location is great. Mall Road and the lift (elevator) are close, and access to the ropeway station is also decent. Therefore, it wasn't too much of a hassle to go out again after returning to the hotel. It was unfortunate that the shower temperature was unstable at times, and the breakfast venue was a bit small and crowded. We stayed in a deluxe room for 2 days. Room & washroom were exceptionally clean. Geyser and heater were working very well. Quality of bed, linen, furniture all were very good. Location is close to mall road but an extremely stiff climb which will be difficult for most people who are not supremely fit physically. There are many steps to climb in the hotel itself where there is no lift. View: mall road and valley below is visible partly but in our room a big tree obstructed what would have been a great place to watch sunset. Restaurant: is available as also food ordered by room service but we ate in the several restaurants in mall road like chopsticks, alfa, book cafe etc, so cannot comment on food quality. Service: of personnel is nice and responsive. We asked for mattress, they provided folding bed with all bedding & blanket. Overall excellent hotel but the steep climb is a dampener.From€19

The resort is easily approachable, it has great rooms, clean, big, neat and tidy, opens towards green valley on all sides. The food was super delicious, wont feel like eating in restaurants with lots of masalas, but clean tasty, minimal oil. The breakfast was great too. Hotel staffs were nice and welcoming. The only concern is if you wake up early (6am) in the morning, you wont get the breakfast till 9am. It starts only at 9am and they have their reasons too as most of the people prefer to come late for the breakfast. In case you are early riser, inform them in advance so that breakfast could be prepared early. What you like -

Review for kufri pacific resort, kufri our overall experience at the hotel was good, but a little improvement is desired. Location - it is located 5 km from kufri, which is a long distance for hills. Cleanliness - excellent views from the rooms - excellent checking in/out - smooth staff behavior - needs improvement. They indulge themselves in arguments with drivers for petty issues. Dinner/ breakfast - they have no bar. Dinner & breakfast buffet is average with limited food options. Bonfire - they arranged bonfire for rs 900, outside the restaurant area but didn't allow for dinner thereat. Insisted on wind-up at 10 pm. I was a little doubtful before arriving at the said place but surprisingly the hotel is at a very nice location, heart of kusumpti, walk-in distance from local restaurants and shops, their drive in facility was excellent which is a big bonus in shimla, the staff was very courteous and service at par with any good hotel. Food was very tasty in their own dining we ate chinese and indian in their dining, both were very nice.From€36

Super hotel with extremely attentive staff - nothing was too much. Room was a good size & extremely comfortable. Stunning view and, if up early enough, could catch the sunrise. Everything you'd expect from a 5° hotel.
Lovely swimming pool & jacuzzi. Didn't use the gym.
Exceptional breakfast with a choice of cooked options as well as a very well stocked buffet. Choice of western & Indian.
Fabulous views. A good 15 minute walk to the Upper Mall (centre) but downhill on the way back.
Would definitely stay at The Oberoi Cecil again if ever back in Shimla.

We stayed as a family of three (adults), and the room was spacious and comfortable. Above all, I think the location is great. Mall Road and the lift (elevator) are close, and access to the ropeway station is also decent. Therefore, it wasn't too much of a hassle to go out again after returning to the hotel. It was unfortunate that the shower temperature was unstable at times, and the breakfast venue was a bit small and crowded. It's inevitable that the facilities will be compact since it's built on a narrow piece of land on a slope...
