Exceptional breakfast with a choice of cooked options as well as a very well stocked buffet. Choice of western & Indian.
Fabulous views. A good 15 minute walk to the Upper Mall (centre) but downhill on the way back.

Great hotel, great location and courteous staff and its the hotel is a heritage building. You can feel the history. Room comfort and food outlets are excellent. Breakfast is good with mix of indian and western choices. Restaurant too offers the mix at great taste. Ver helpful staff and front desk. The hotel is located right next to the famous mall road of Shimla, walking distance, ***y shopping and food outlets available ***** the road including branded shopping. The only down side is there is no vehicle access to the entrance of the hotel due local restriction, no vehicle road. One have to climb up 250m stairs, the hotel provides help to pick you luggage. Physically challenged and the elderly will find it challenging. There is option to use public electric lift 500m away and walk to the hotel.
I will certainly choose this hotel in the future if I am visiting Shimla.SOLD OUT

We stayed as a family of three (adults), and the room was spacious and comfortable. Above all, I think the location is great. Mall Road and the lift (elevator) are close, and access to the ropeway station is also decent. Therefore, it wasn't too much of a hassle to go out again after returning to the hotel. It was unfortunate that the shower temperature was unstable at times, and the breakfast venue was a bit small and crowded. The location of Hotel Prestige is excellent, being conveniently situated near the lift and providing easy access to Mall Road.
To reach this hotel you need to take lift and The Lift is famous stopby where many cabs and local buses (including electric) stops here. You can take lift to reach this hotel but the lift works between 10am to 6pm around so keep in mind otherwise you'll have to give 100 or 200 rupees to kuli for carrying the luggage.
This makes it a great choice for travelers looking to explore the main attractions of Shimla without much hassle.
However, the internet connection was a major drawback during my stay. The Wi-Fi was extremely slow, making it challenging to stay connected or get any work done online. I had to rely on mobile data throughout my stay, which was inconvenient.
If the internet issue is addressed, this hotel would be an even better option for travelers. Overall, it’s a good choice for its prime location and budget accommodation, but not ideal if you need a strong and reliable internet connection I hope management will improve this in future.From€13

Pros bang on mall road & near lift. Neat rooms 24 hrs hot water good smart tv and excellent wifi they have to watch any ott. Cons 1. U need to climb 30 steps to reach the lift. The hotel is on 7th floor. 2. The rooms where we stayed has very loud dj music (played in their restaurant from 8pm till midnight. So u can sleep after they close the restaurant. 3. You may see the restaurant staffs talking loudly near your window till 2am as its backyard of the restaurant your rooms will be there. My suggestions to the owners. 1. I was a little doubtful before arriving at the said place but surprisingly the hotel is at a very nice location, heart of kusumpti, walk-in distance from local restaurants and shops, their drive in facility was excellent which is a big bonus in shimla, the staff was very courteous and service at par with any good hotel. Food was very tasty in their own dining we ate chinese and indian in their dining, both were very nice.From€37

Stayed on new year week and couldn't be better!
It is a perfect place to stay with a beautiful valley view and rooms were very cozy and hygienic. The show stellar is Food ( Breakfast platter is must try!) and staff service starting from Manager to everyone is great
They allowed free of cost early check-in and complimentary dinner on New year Eve.

We stayed as a family of three (adults), and the room was spacious and comfortable. Above all, I think the location is great. Mall Road and the lift (elevator) are close, and access to the ropeway station is also decent. Therefore, it wasn't too much of a hassle to go out again after returning to the hotel. It was unfortunate that the shower temperature was unstable at times, and the breakfast venue was a bit small and crowded. It's inevitable that the facilities will be compact since it's built on a narrow piece of land on a slope...

We as a family of four had stayed in Deluxe room which is very outdated and required immediate renovation.Hotel with a 4 star rating but still operating keys for door opening and once you enter a very old hotel 20 years back with old furnished tiles bathroom tubs and outdated room's.Be ware and careful as rooms images are not genuinely displayed in any online site.Although hotel highlight is there restaurant with mouth watering foods and good Vibes.
