I frequently stay at this hotel, but this time was a huge disappointment. The front desk staff who checked me in made the whole experience very unpleasant. First, parking costs money, up to 80 yuan. Second, they still require a deposit – seriously, who still does that these days? Third, you have to go down to pick up your own food deliveries. Fourth, there wasn't enough hot water. And finally, the soundproofing is terrible; you can clearly hear conversations from the next room.

A very classy hotel with a great environment, clean and hygienic. The service was warm and attentive. I arrived in the morning and was immediately checked in. There's even a super cute robot that delivers food to the room! This is the most satisfying place I've stayed in Beijing so far. The downtown location is excellent, making travel convenient, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. Plus, there was a little surprise when I checked in!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was spotlessly clean, well equipped with all necessary amenities, and the bed was incredibly comfortable for a good night’s sleep. The hotel team was polite, attentive and ready to help whenever needed. Convenient location within walking distance to local attractions, shops and public transport. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of tasty food. Great value for money and we highly recommend this hotel to all travellers.

Nice hotel with air conditioning, hairdryer, small refrigerator, and TV. Quiet, three restaurants nearby, 200 meters from a Beijing party street (bars, nightclub, and karaoke). My stay at the Waldorf Astoria Beijing was absolutely perfect, earning a full five-star review! I experienced both the main building and the traditional courtyard rooms. The location is superb, right next to Wangfujing and within walking distance to the Forbidden City, making getting around incredibly convenient. The hotel's design is truly unique and thoughtful. The rooms are spacious and elegant, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and the amenities are high-quality and smell wonderful – every detail shows great care. Our butler, Willow, provided attentive and thoughtful service; she was warm, polite, and perfectly balanced, never being intrusive. The breakfast spread was extensive, featuring both authentic Beijing specialties and delicious Western options. The afternoon tea was beautiful and tasted just as good as it looked. This is definitely the top luxury hotel to stay at when visiting Beijing. Highly recommended!

Excellent location near Tiananmen, Forbidden City and Wangfujing (all walkable). Subway just 10 mins away on foot, bus stop right outside with the major sight seeing lines. No breakfast provided but there’s enough food places around and an in house cafe. Room is clean and well sized, good for 2 big luggage open on the floor with space to walk and a large closet. Shampoo/ bath gel, slippers, toothbrushes provided. Shower has good water pressure although curtain is short so water tends to get out of the bath area, nothing a towel can’t solve. Shoutout to the front desk staff (Miss Tian/Liu/Zhang/Li) for their friendliness and helpfulness, esp to Miss Li (night desk) for her quick initiative and service recovery after a miscommunication on room cleaning early in our stay. Love the roof terrace. We were on the first floor and felt that the soundproofing was good.

I'm so glad we picked this apartment for our trip. The room was quiet, the Wi-Fi was fast, and the design was very practical. There are restaurants and a small convenience store right downstairs, making daily life incredibly convenient. The room facilities are brand new, and most importantly, I slept exceptionally well at night. The bedding was clean and comfortable, and there was no noise disturbance. The front desk was very responsive. It has the cleanliness standards of a hotel but also feels cozy and convenient. I'll definitely book this place again next time I'm in Yanqing.

The room was very spacious, right next to SKP and Huamao, making it super convenient for getting around. The Line 1 subway station is just a 300-meter walk away, and you can easily catch a cab right outside. The Cantonese restaurant on the second floor was also excellent. You don't often find rooms this big within Beijing's inner city. The cleaning staff on our floor were very friendly and efficient with laundry service. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.

The large room offers ample space, perfect for families with children. It's clean and well-stocked with bottled water, which is a lifesaver in Beijing's dry climate. Food deliveries are brought right to your door by a robot, which reduces outside traffic and enhances security. The only minor drawback is that the bathroom isn't a wet/dry separation, so be careful of slippery floors after washing up.

This was our second stay in a slide room, and this time we booked for a whole week! The kids had a blast playing on the slide and with the building blocks right in the room. The hotel also has multiple indoor and outdoor pools, big and small, which kept the kids entertained every single day. The rooms come with a bathtub, which is perfect for a relaxing soak after all that splashing around. On days we didn't go swimming, we could head to the indoor playground or the petting zoo – there are just so many activities to choose from. Since we visited on a weekday, it wasn't crowded at all, making the experience absolutely fantastic. We really love it here! Just one minor thing – it would be even more perfect if the hotel had a laundry room, haha.

Pros: 1. The hotel is nestled halfway up the mountain, offering fresh air and truly beautiful surroundings. It's a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle, and the hotel's decor and maintenance are quite good. Our butler, Bella, was incredibly meticulous and thoughtful, taking care of every little detail. She met all our needs, making our stay exceptionally comfortable. 2. There's a wide array of facilities and activities, including a mountainside hot spring, indoor pool, Hatha yoga, singing bowl therapy, a gym, and a kids' club. It's perfect for families, and the kids' club is large and newly renovated – it just reopened in May. It's definitely more fun than the kids' clubs at other hotels I've visited. Plus, children aged 4 and up can be supervised for free, which made my little one super happy! 3. The room key card came with a park map, showing hiking trails. There's an easy 5-kilometer mountain boardwalk, perfect for families, where you can visit the Eight Planets viewing platforms. 4. The breakfast was impressive! They had steaks, lamb chops, and a rich variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. However, the cured meats were generally a bit too salty. Cons: 1. For a 5-star hotel, there was no safe in the room. 2. While there's an abundance of kids' activities, most of them come with a fee. 3. Since the kids' club was newly renovated, the smell was quite strong, making my eyes and throat uncomfortable. Overall, we were still very satisfied. I imagine it would be even more atmospheric to visit in winter for the hot springs, though I expect it would be extremely crowded.

The Xishan Hot Spring Hotel, touted as a 'land cruise,' certainly lives up to its name. We booked a family-themed package that included daily hot spring passes for 2 adults and 1 child, breakfast, one full buffet meal, and late-night snacks. The hot springs are very distinctive, especially the fish therapy and ******* medicine pools. They even provide face masks and hot compresses. The food selection is incredibly rich, with a seafood theme, and the cold drinks feature Häagen-Dazs. The second and fifth floors offer numerous family-friendly activities like go-karts, bowling, billiards, hopscotch, and a petting zoo – you'd need more than a day to try everything. The hot springs also offer overnight packages, with a variety of spacious and uniquely designed pods on the second floor and B1, offering excellent value for money. The biggest surprise this time was the 'pet companionship' service in the room. We were lucky enough to meet the adorable Ragdoll cat, Qiuqiu, who spent an unforgettable hour with our children. Overall, this is a fantastic hotel, and we'll definitely return if we get the chance!

It was freezing outside in winter, but super warm inside – I felt like I could wear a T-shirt, the air conditioning was excellent. The service was generally great. My child threw a beanbag up onto the ceiling, which was about three or four meters high, and the hotel staff even managed to get it down for us. I'm very grateful for that. I deducted 0.5 points for service because the front desk staff seemed clueless; when I asked where to feed the alpacas, they said they didn't know and that it was handled by the hot springs area, implying it wasn't under their management. They mentioned the hot springs and entertainment were outsourced. However, we found the alpacas just a short distance outside the hotel lobby entrance, along with geese, ducks, and chickens. There were three large and two small alpacas, and they were adorable. Do bring them some carrots and greens; they looked quite hungry. For breakfast, go early, before 8 AM, as it's very abundant. If you go later, you'll miss out on the delicious cream cakes. Dinner was a buffet due to New Year's, and the seafood was quite fresh for the hotpot. The hot springs were a bit crowded, but the kids had a good time, mostly hitting each other with ocean balls. There weren't many indoor hot spring pools, making it a bit cramped. The temperatures were all high, but it was very clean. They said there were outdoor pools too, but we didn't go as it was too cold.

We had three king-size rooms, and 1119 had the best view, overlooking the lake from the balcony, with a beautiful sunrise in the morning. The room directly opposite could see the golf course behind, which was great for sunset views. The bathroom and bathtub are in separate spaces opposite each other, designed with two sinks for simultaneous use. The front desk is on the second floor, and the connecting corridor to the hot spring ♨️ is also on the same floor, though it's a bit of a walk. The buffet restaurant is on the first floor. The hotel is located some 100m away from the Samatai Great Wall ticket entrance {RMB120] though the climb is rather challenging due to the uneven steps leading to the great wall [especially for night climbs can be challenging for older folks]. The hotel is clean but with very low occupancy [likely due to the price tag] next to the sauna house which I did not use. Gubei Water Town was pretty decent for this is a replica town build for tourist in 2013 if not mistaken. Night scene was great with laser and drone show illuminating the sky. Ample restaurant around but with very few patronages for most. Overall a pretty nice/decent place to visit if you have an extra day in Beijing to kill.

Pros: 1. The hotel is conveniently located near the entrance to Simatai Great Wall. It's easy to access the Wall for hiking, and you can also enjoy views of it from the second floor of the room. The Wall is visible in the distance from the window, making it a secluded retreat away from the hustle and bustle. 2. The hotel offers excellent service. Housekeeping is prompt, and the staff are attentive and welcoming. 3. The duplex suite A is very spacious, perfect for families with elderly members and children. Kids, especially, will love rolling and crawling on the tatami mat. 4. Slippers and bath towels are replaced daily, and complimentary fruit is provided every day. 5. After checking out, I left my headphones in the room. The hotel proactively contacted me and arranged for them to be couriered to me, which I truly appreciate. Cons: 1. The room is very inconvenient for elderly guests with mobility issues. The main bed is on the second floor, making it difficult for them to go up and down. The first floor has a tatami mat, which makes it hard for elderly guests to get up and lie down. If they need to get up at night, they would definitely need assistance. 2. While the room is large, whether the Japanese wabi-sabi style truly suits Chinese guests, especially for a hotel charging 5,000 yuan per night, is a question that needs consideration. The wabi-sabi aesthetic often translates to very sparse furnishings: no comfortable sofas, no bedside tables, no bedside lamps, and certainly no central control panel for all lights and appliances. The tatami mat essentially means sleeping on the floor with a low table, making it very inconvenient and challenging to get up, sit down, or place and retrieve items, which clashes with Chinese living habits. 3. The private hot spring bath in the room only has one switch for hot water, making it impossible to adjust the temperature. Its size is also awkward; it's fine for one person, but feels cramped for two. For a room type designed for six people, such a small bath is quite inconvenient. Furthermore, the inner wall of the bath is made of solid wood, raising concerns about hygiene. 4. The smart toilet was broken and remained unrepaired even after reporting it. 5. The two bedrooms on the second floor, designed to accommodate at least four people, share a single small bathroom, which is a very impractical design. Additionally, the entire Gubei Water Town is not suitable for elderly visitors with mobility issues, especially those in wheelchairs. The flagstone paths are very uneven, and there are many steps, which would make a wheelchair ride extremely bumpy and uncomfortable.

Let's start with the positives: Firstly, the location is excellent. Right outside the entrance is Chongwenmen subway station, making it incredibly convenient to reach all the major attractions. This is definitely the hotel's biggest selling point. Secondly, the staff are very service-oriented. Their customer care, from booking to check-out, was impressive, and the front desk was quick to help guests resolve issues during my stay. Now for the areas that need improvement: As it's an older hotel, the facilities are quite basic and dated. The lighting is also on the dim side, especially in the elevators. The rooms show signs of age, with some water stains and black mold visible in the bathroom, and dust accumulation in the corners of the wardrobe door tracks. During this stay, the first room (B213) had a strong odor from the bathroom drain, so with the help of the front desk, I moved to a different room (B559). However, the air conditioning in the second room was not very effective; even at its lowest setting, the room temperature stayed around 27 degrees Celsius, making it feel a bit stuffy in the mornings or at midday. Overall, considering the price, Xinqiao Hotel offers acceptable value for money in the city center. My suggestions for the hotel are: 1. Replace the lighting with brighter white lights to make the place feel less dated. 2. Increase the frequency of maintenance for drainage pipes and the central air conditioning system. 3. Improve the cleanliness of room corners, particularly in the bathrooms.

The room was tiny, I mean, really tiny. There was no space for luggage; if you put it on the floor, you couldn't walk. I originally booked a windowless room, and they said they upgraded me to one with a window, but it faced a wall about 50 centimeters away. So, open or closed, it was dark, and if you opened it, all you heard was the buzzing of the AC unit outside, so it was better to keep it shut. The breakfast was good, and the location was decent. I don't understand why hotel ratings are always so high nowadays. It's because after you book, the front desk chases you for a 5-star review. This practice really needs to be addressed.

The apex of Beijing, where the true heart of luxury beats! — A perfect stay at Kerry Hotel Beijing from July 25th-26th If Beijing is a flowing feast, then the Guomao CBD is its most dazzling stage, and Kerry Hotel Beijing sits right in the center of it. During this stay, I truly experienced what it means to “be amidst the bustle, yet privately enjoy luxury.” Arriving on the afternoon of the 25th, from the moment I stepped into the lobby, that grand sense of tranquility isolated me from the noise outside the window. The room was super spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling window offered an unparalleled city skyline view, with the CCTV Headquarters (the 'big trousers') and China Zun tower side-by-side. That feeling of having the imperial capital at your feet instantly made the room rate worthwhile! I must particularly praise the Kerry Club Lounge on the 18th floor! It was truly the highlight of my entire stay! The service from Ms. Lucy, Clara, and Seanna was simply delightful, making me feel incredibly welcome. The lounge's food, whether afternoon tea or evening happy hour, offered such a vast variety that it was hard to choose. The breakfast at 'Jia Pin Restaurant' on the morning of the 26th absolutely won me over—there were 7 ways to prepare eggs alone, plus fresh grapefruit. These kinds of details are truly a huge plus! Although I know this hotel is a representative of the 'old money' opened in 1999, the facilities are incredibly well-maintained. That sense of profound grandeur, refined by the passage of time, is a quality new hotels simply cannot replicate. The gym and heated swimming pool are top-tier for hotels in China, with huge spaces and comprehensive equipment. Even just a swim feels like a luxury. My two-day journey in the heart of luxury left me wanting more. Not only is the location unbeatable, but the service and dining are also exceptional! This was my first time staying at the Park Plaza. We came because my child had an exam at the Academy of Arts and Design's attached high school. When we arrived, I didn't even realize there was a hotel next door. What drew us in was the parking lot we spotted as we drove by, and it was indeed very close to the school. The security guard at the entrance confirmed there was plenty of parking, and we were impressed to find both above-ground and underground spaces. So, we decided to book a room. The price was reasonable, not expensive at all, and the hotel had everything: a restaurant, breakfast, and a gym. Stepping into the lobby, it was bright, and a pleasant aroma filled the air, immediately giving us a holiday vibe and easing our nerves. The young lady at the front desk was incredibly warm and thorough during check-in. She double-checked our late checkout request multiple times to ensure it was fine. Knowing we were there for our child's exam, she even extended our checkout to 3 PM, which was a very rare and thoughtful gesture. Despite many students and parents checking in, it never felt crowded. The elevators were fast, room service was prompt, and the little robot delivering items was adorable and busy. The room itself was spacious and clean. The first night, the hot water in the bathroom wasn't very hot, possibly due to a high number of guests, but the bathtub was very comfortable, and the bedding was cozy. There was a slight creak when turning over, but it was acceptable. Staff were quick to respond to any extra requests. Parking was free after registering at the front desk. The best part, however, is the breakfast – it has a very European feel with many authentic European delicacies you won't find at other hotels. I will definitely stay here again!

Halfway through my trip, I rarely write reviews, but the Rosewood Beijing truly exceeded my expectations. Initially, I had only planned to stay for one night, but I ended up extending it to three nights! Here’s why: 1. The service was incredibly attentive. From check-in to room amenities and the hotel's comprehensive facilities, including the tranquil executive lounge, it’s an ideal choice for a summer family trip. Despite a few minor hiccups, Pauling's thoughtful arrangements truly highlighted the Rosewood's brand charm. My top choices for Beijing used to be the Mandarin Oriental, The Peninsula, or the Four Seasons, but now I’m definitely a Rosewood convert. 2. I particularly loved the 6th-floor wellness area. The pool and gym are separated, and the interplay of sunlight and water reflections is both beautiful and relaxing. The gym is spacious with diverse equipment. One afternoon, I even coincidentally saw a top-tier Chinese celebrity discreetly working out there. 3. The aesthetic design is excellent. Although the hotel has been open for a while, the attention to detail in its maintenance is evident. Having stayed in many luxury hotels in Beijing, the Rosewood consistently earns my trust across all aspects. Special thanks again to Pauling, Jessi from the executive lounge, and Betty from the lobby. I look forward to my next stay!

I arrived a bit early on check-in day and my room wasn't ready yet. However, after speaking with the front desk, they kindly upgraded me to an executive floor room for free! A big thank you to the lovely front desk staff for their warm service! The room facilities and hotel amenities are excellent. The location is incredibly convenient, right in Beijing's core business district, Sanlitun, with plenty of dining, entertainment, and shopping options nearby. The room view was beautiful, and the night view was truly stunning! The hotel staff were all incredibly welcoming. The doormen provided excellent service to every guest, really showcasing the hospitality of Beijing's residents. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Beijing – it's absolutely fantastic!

I had the chance to experience this 'classic' renowned hotel, and I found it quite good. Although it's a bit old and some of the facilities are dated, especially in the apartment rooms, the cleanliness is commendable and the service is excellent. The apartment rooms, despite their traditional decor and older equipment, are spacious and well-suited for families. The standard rooms have been renovated with a more modern style and contemporary amenities. While smaller, they are very comfortable to stay in. I specifically requested a high floor for a better view! I also sampled the food at 'Changan One' and 'Tea Source,' ordered a birthday cake from 'Su Yuan,' and tried the breakfast buffet. All were very satisfying. The Kung Pao Chicken at Changan One was particularly unique, and the fried chicken wings at Tea Source were similar to spicy fried chicken. The breakfast offered a rich variety, and the freshly prepared dishes were great. I was especially pleased with the gym and particularly the swimming pool. I went for a swim in the morning when it was less crowded. The pool is very large, making for a pleasant swim, and there's also a massage pool, dry sauna, and wet sauna, perfect for relaxation. I'd definitely bring my family back for a weekend getaway if I get the chance.

Our stay was absolutely delightful. The hotel's overall service was meticulous and thoughtful, and the staff were warm and friendly. The airport shuttle bus was spacious and comfortable, and the welcome fruit platter, late-night snacks, breakfast, and small farewell gift upon check-out all demonstrated the hotel's genuine care for its guests. The two alpacas and little squirrels in the courtyard added a wonderful touch of warmth and fun to our trip. I'd particularly like to thank one of the hotel staff members. Yesterday, Beijing experienced a heavy downpour, and the ride-sharing car my family and I were in got a flat tire due to flooded roads, leaving us stranded in the middle of the street and unable to return to the hotel. It just so happened that her family was picking her up from work, and after learning about our situation, she proactively helped coordinate and drove us all back to the hotel entrance, politely refusing any compensation. For us, who were in such a difficult predicament at the time, her help was incredibly valuable and left us feeling incredibly touched. This small incident truly made me appreciate the staff's sense of responsibility and kindness, and it left me with an excellent impression of the hotel's service philosophy and management. To be able to cultivate such sincere, professional, and helpful employees, I believe this hotel is truly worthy of guests' trust. If I ever return to Beijing in the future, I will definitely choose to stay here again. I wish the hotel all the best and continued success to every staff member.

I've stayed at several hotels around Daxing Airport, and the Radisson is definitely the best overall experience. The location is a clear advantage, and the shuttle service is very reliable, saving the hassle of taxis back and forth. The room decor is simple yet elegant, and the bed is just the right firmness, leading to excellent sleep quality. The hygiene is on point, with no unpleasant odors. The breakfast tastes good, and the late-night snack service is a thoughtful touch. Michael at the front desk provided attentive and excellent service. It's perfect whether you're transiting overnight or just staying for a short while. Definitely five stars.

This is one of the best-value hotels right in the center of Beijing. The Hotel is located in the city center, but in a surprisingly quiet neighborhood — perfect if you want convenience without the chaos. Very affordable prices. Spacious, clean, and well-maintained rooms. But the real highlight is the lobby… It feels more like a library café than a hotel. In the evening, you can sit there in total calm, read a book, work on your laptop, and enjoy delicious coffee… made and served by a robot. And yes — if you order delivery, another robot brings it straight to your room door. The area is also great — surrounded by restaurants, shops, and fruit markets, everything you need within walking distance. If you're looking for a clean, comfortable, budget-friendly stay with a unique touch — this is a great find.

My family and I drove to Beijing, and the first hotel we stayed at wasn't great. So, the night before, we came to check out this hotel. The front desk staff were very diligent and showed us the room types. We were very satisfied and immediately booked two rooms, deciding to move in the next day. The next afternoon, we went to the front desk, originally thinking we might have to wait a bit to check in. However, a male staff member at the front desk was very flexible; he upgraded us to a better room, and we were able to move our luggage in immediately. The check-in process was quick and efficient, and they even gave our two kids souvenir fridge magnets, which they loved. Our whole group decided that whenever we come to Beijing in the future, we'll stay here. The rooms are much more spacious than other hotels, the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the vanity is large, which is very convenient for ladies to do their makeup. The hotel is located right on Qianmen Street, a quiet spot in a bustling area. The entrance is very clean and spacious. There's also a laundry room with a paid service (2 washes, 2 dries), which is very convenient for changing clothes.

I stayed at this hotel the day before my international flight because I had an early morning departure. Its location is excellent, with a shuttle to Terminal 3 every half hour. The room showed signs of age and was a bit dusty, which might be characteristic of hotels near airports. The breakfast was decent, nothing spectacular but up to the usual standard for a five-star hotel.

The room was a bit small but very clean (the toilet and bathroom were quite spacious). The front desk service was excellent. All disposable amenities were provided, and the facilities were complete. The hairdryer worked really well. The whole-house lighting control was very convenient, allowing direct adjustment by mode. Overall, it was a good hotel experience.

This hotel offers great value for money! I arrived at midnight, and luckily, they had an airport shuttle service. It only took two minutes to get to the hotel! The next day, they even dropped me back at T2 terminal for the Airport Express. It's not noisy here at all because of the double-glazed windows; I didn't hear any plane takeoffs or landings. The Airport Express costs 25 RMB per person, and children under 130cm ride for free. I'll definitely choose this place again when I come back to Beijing!

Getting around is super convenient. You can book the hotel shuttle whether you land at T2 or T3, so no need to drag your luggage and queue for a taxi. The rooms are clean and quiet, and the bathroom is dry and spotless. I appreciate the self-service toiletries, which is very eco-friendly. The front desk staff were warm and enthusiastic, proactively recommending local eateries and attractions. The robot delivery for room service was handy, and there's complimentary wellness tea in the lobby. The breakfast buffet offers a fresh and varied selection. It's only a seven or eight-minute walk to Liqiao Town, where you'll find all sorts of snacks and full meals. The nearby wetland park has a pleasant environment, making for a really relaxing stroll after dinner.

The room was decent, clean, and the facilities were mostly complete. The only issue was the air conditioner's outdoor unit was quite noisy, which affected my sleep. The service was good; they proactively upgraded my room to a quieter one on the inner side. They also offer airport shuttle service, which is convenient for travelers with layovers. However, the shuttle vehicle itself was in poor condition, with damaged and dirty seats, making for an uncomfortable ride. Improving this would be a great enhancement.

This hotel is affordable, clean, and very close to the airport. The room is spacious and the price is affordable for Beijing. There is nothing special about the hotel or the area so don't expect luxury or a gym or enhanced services. Overall, I enjoyed my stay but it is far from any subway station or public transportation.
