Check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. Breakfast was one of the highlights, offering a wide selection of fresh pastries, fruit, hot dishes, and excellent coffee. The overall cleanliness of the hotel and the attention to detail were impressive. Overall, NH Bologna provided great value for money with comfortable accommodations, excellent service, and a fantastic location. All the tourist attractions are within walking distance, roughly ten to fifteen minutes away. However, the Wi-Fi in the room wasn't very good, and I couldn't get a 5G signal 📶.

Best hotel to stay in Bologna! Hotel staffs are nice and work very efficient. We can store our luggage at the hotel before check-in time and after check-out. Very near to the Bologna train station. Nearby the hotel has a very good gelato called Stefino. Hotel room was fantastic, very clean, has extra pillows. The room also has safety box and mini fridge. The AC works very well and it was great during summer! Surely will stay here again next time!

I guess it all depends on expectations - I booked it because it had really good recent reviews at the time but I was disappointed with the experience. The rooms look like they have been relatively recently renovated but because everything in the rooms is cheap and basic and there are marks and stains on the walls they appear tired.  The style is basic functional so you should not expect much in terms of comfort or coziness. The hotel is poorly ventilated so there is smell in corridors and in the rooms. I changed a room because there was additional smell coming from the bathroom.

Right across from the train station, very convenient. I checked in at 11:30 AM, which was quick. The hotel's hardware standard is comparable to a budget hotel; the mattress wasn't fixed in place, but the air conditioning worked well enough. There was no 'Oriental breakfast' as shown on the Ctrip page. I won't be staying here again. P.S. The pizza place to the right of the hotel entrance offers good value and fresh, delicious takeaway pizza. The pharmacy inside the train station across the street has a great in-house brand lotion, and the pharmacist was understanding and patiently recommended over-the-counter medications that I urgently needed.

Great location with great staff. The bell tolls every so often, but it is no bother. Shower is a tad bit tiny but bathroom is big. Lift is available but some rooms on level 2 has a few steps to conquer - do request a room that does not tackle this if you cannot lift your luggage for these few steps. One key per room, but key can be left at reception. We had 4 rooms all up and they mananged to get us all on same floor & close by, as per our request. Again, all the staff are great. Check-in is 3pm, check-out is 11am.

The breakfast buffet is extensive with both hot and cold options, and nothing was missing. The only minor complaint is the hotel entrance; it's a revolving door that's quite narrow, making it difficult for guests with large, bulky luggage to get through.

Very close to the Twin Towers and the main campus of Bologna, a very small hotel. Very clean and the room is not small. After staying, I went out for a lap and came back with a welcome fruit. The breakfast was underground, slightly darker, but it was also cleverly designed according to local conditions. Looking out the window of the room, you can see the corner of the twin towers. It is very quiet at night and sleeps very well. The front desk staff is very handsome and uncle, the whole hotel style is very artistic, and overall it is still very good stay experience.

It could be better. The historic palace in the centre of Bologna, Location really suggestive and fascinating in particular the inner courtyard, called ”orangeries”, in which there is breakfast room. The service is improved: at our arrival the room was cold because the previous guests had closed all the thermophones of the room. Ok the historical palace in a 4-star hotel I would expect thermostat in the room to adjust the temperature, but the only way to do it is to close or open thermophones handily. And then in the heart of the night I woke up for too warm. Washing the bathroom in the flat. Who cleaned the bathroom before our arrival how did he not realize it? Why did he not fit it? No hot water in the morning. But are we joking? The most troubled thing is the waiting for the breakfast table. The room is microscopic, you give up a couple of rooms and make a second room ...

Temevo anche per questo motivo che fosse molto rumoroso, invece la stanza dava sull’interno e, grazie all’aria condizionata, ho potuto tenere le finestre chiuse e non sentire alcun rumore. La stanza poi era ben arredata, soprattutto pulita e nuova! Altrove, per lo steso periodo mi proponevano prezzi ben più alti e temevo quindi che l’hotel avrebbe avuto qualche tipo di “intoppo”, invece l’ho trovato perfetto.

This is a wonderful small family owned hotel in a great location in Bologna. We had many family members staying there on our way to a wedding and it was PERFECT! The hotel was only a 15-20-minute walk from the train station. The rooms were much bigger than expected with a comfy couch (and blankets) and TV. There was also an Alexa set up and she played music when directed and was pleasant. The kitchenette had ample utensils and cookware, but no napkins or paper towels. They supplied cold water in a pitcher as well as several bottles of wine (NOT complementary, but reasonably priced. The prices on the list in the room differed from the prices at the front desk, tho.) The complementary slippers were used every day as the tile floors were chilly. There was always enough hot water in the showers, but one bathroom light was out the whole time we were there (reported it to the front desk on the first day and they said they already knew about it, but were waiting on maintenance to fix. We had to make due without it for the six days we were there.) There were instructions on how to use each of the appliances (much appreciated!). It was a short walk to restaurants and cafes and the shopping district. Great accommodations for the price point and lots of room.

All the Hilton Garden Inn hotels we stayed at during our trip offered a scrambled egg breakfast, but this one was the best. We asked for spinach, mushrooms, and onions, and the portion was generous; this one egg dish made our breakfast very satisfying.

All the Hilton Garden Inn hotels we stayed at during our trip offered a scrambled egg breakfast, but this one was the best. We asked for spinach, mushrooms, and onions, and the portion was generous; this one egg dish made our breakfast very satisfying.

The hotel booked for the Cersaie exhibition, the location is very convenient to participate in the exhibition, the hotel is equipped with a shuttle bus to the venue throughout the day, you can reach the venue in about ten minutes. The chocolate at the front desk tasted good and the service was good.

I stayed for two consecutive nights and the front desk clerk kindly upgraded my room for one night for free. The room was spacious and very clean. All the tourist attractions are within walking distance, roughly ten to fifteen minutes away. However, the Wi-Fi in the room wasn't very good, and I couldn't get a 5G signal 📶.

I enjoyed my stay at the Astor :) the room had a funny smell, the breakfast was very uninspiring, and one could hear every noise from every corner all the time, but the room also was large and comfortable and the bathroom was good and everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful - it was a relief to stay at a place where it felt a lot like being at home. I definitely would stay again.
