We just completed a remodel of our Otter Place cabin located on the southwest shore of beautiful Lost Lake. This 2BD, 1BA cabin accommodates up to 6 guests.

You'll love the warm, cozy feel of this cabin when you enter with the beautiful pine paneled ceilings, doors & trim, rustic hickory cabinets and the Northwoods decor throughout.

In the well-equipped kitchen, you'll not only appreciate the built-in appliances which include a dishwasher and microwave, but you'll also find plenty of dishes, pots & pans, and other items such as a crock pot, Pizzazz, electric frying pan, Nutri Bullet, hand mixer and more!

The cabin has central A/C for those hot, humid days and forced air heating for days that are colder. Enjoy the 42" flat screen, wall-mounted TV with YouTube TV, Netflix Prime & Angel services, and the FREE Spectrum Premier Wi-Fi (up to 500 mbps) provided for our guests.

The attached deck will be a great place to lounge outside and enjoy the beautiful nature and animals of the Northwoods. There's a charcoal grill and picnic table for outdoor cooking/dining, and a large wooden swing for you to enjoy. You'll have your own fire pit with 4 benches...FREE firewood provided.

Otter Place has a new private dock with a bench (updated pics to come). The swimming area out front of the cabin is sandy and great for swimming.

Two kayaks and an aluminum rowboat are provided with this rental property. The boat is licensed so you're able to bring/rent a motor and add it, if you'd like. Also, there's a paddleboat for your use (shared with our Gone Fish Inn guests next door). Possible pontoon boat available to rent during your stay. Inquire if it is available.

Connect to the famous Bo-Boen Snowmobile Trail and the St. Germain ATV Club Trail at the end of our private road. We also provide direct access to the lake in the winter for snowmobilers. There is plenty of parking space to accommodate your trailers, too.

Guests who enjoy fishing will appreciate the remodeled fish cleaning house on the property with its 10' stainless steel sink and running water. It's available to our guests year-round...whether fishing in the summer or ice fishing during the winter season.

Have a large group wanting to rent? In addition to our Otter Place cabin, we also own the cabin next door…Gone Fish Inn (completely remodeled in 2019), and the lake house two doors down…Whitetail Ridge (newly constructed in 2018). Our current guests are given the first opportunity to rebook for the following year so if you're interested in starting a yearly tradition, Otter Place, Gone Fish Inn, and Whitetail Ridge are great places to choose for your family vacation. Most of our guests have been coming since day one!

**Whole-cabin backup generator to ensure you won't be without power during your vacation in case storms pass through the area!!!

Enter through the winding road and find yourself at Summerhaven on beautiful Lost Lake. The home is located just 15 feet from the waters edge.
Summerhaven amenities include a full kitchen, large dining room, outside deck with weber grill, fire pit, private pier, enclosed heated porch, three full baths, five large bedrooms and a puzzle/game room.
Enjoy your morning coffee on the porch overlooking the lake while the eagles soar above and light dances off the water.
Dock your boat, or rent our pontoon at our private pier. Rent our kayaks and paddle around the lake and see the sights. Paddle over to Murmuring Waters for a great meal and cold drink.
There's great fishing on Lost Lake. Kids can catch panfish right off the private pier. Kids also can enjoy the shallow shoreline and built in sandbox.
In addition, the area offers outstanding restaurants, bars and breweries, gift shops and thrift stores.
Bring your bike or rent one in town and enjoy a five mile ride around the lake or use the many bike paths or back roads that connect quaint towns for you to explore. Beautiful views and wildlife can be seen everywhere. You can also rent an ATV locally and experience the top quality trails that surround the area.
Other activities are the Monday Flea Market in St. Germain , Cathy's Ice Cream, Monday Night Bingo, The Annual Walk in the Woods Art Fair, the Up North Beer Fest, Sip-N-Shop Wine Walk, Farmers Markets, and 4th of July Fireworks. There are also many area craft shows throughout the summer as well.
Colorama Fall Festival and the Fall Foliage Color Run are in September. Cranberry Fest is in October.
For an adventure, you can take a half-day rafting trip down the Wisconsin River. For kids, there's miniature golf, go-carts, climbing walls, and horse back riding nearby. On a rainy day Summerhaven has an assortment of traditional board games, puzzles and movies to enjoy.
In the evenings you can enjoy a cozy fire in the fire pit, counting the stars, roasting marshmallows while enjoying your favorite beverage.

Cedar Lodge has been remodeled to include a second bathroom, central A/C, enlarged living room to include a gas fireplace and a large window overlooking the lake, a new kitchen with rustic hickory cabinets and new appliances, as well as new siding, windows and a lakeside deck. We tried to keep some of the original feel of the cabin to keep the quaintness that our guests have come to love and appreciate about Cedar Lodge over the years. Our repeat guests who came back to our newly remodeled cabin appreciated the many updates we've done since their last visit. We are confident our new guests who are coming for the first time will be just as happy to experience what Cedar Lodge has to offer. There is much to appreciate at Cedar Lodge. Enjoy your morning coffee on the lakeside deck as the sun comes up to start your day. Deer roaming the property and eagles soaring overhead are a common sight. Spend family time by the sandy beach area and share stories while sitting around the campfire – free firewood is provided. Take the 2 kayaks out for some fun on the lake. Fish from the private dock or take the rowboat out to catch your trophy fish. The new central air will keep you cool on those hot, humid, summer days. For cooler nights and our winter guests, the new gas fireplace will be a welcome spot to curl up in front of to enjoy the warmth it provides. Gather in the enlarged living room and enjoy the spectacular view of the lake from indoors.

The shoreline is described by many as the best fishing spot on this 544-acre lake. Pan fish are easily caught right off the dock. Muskie and bass are also frequently caught right out in front of the unit. The lake is fully recreational and has plenty of crappies, perch, walleyes, and northern pike. There is a newly-remodeled, heated fish cleaning house for you to use after a successful day of fishing!

The St. Germain area is located halfway between Eagle River and Minocqua and is known for its many summer and winter activities. An immaculate 18-hole golf course is located nearby along with another 9-hole course and a par-3 course. There are many Northwoods supper clubs, bars, and restaurants nearby for a “night out” if cooking over the campfire isn’t your style.

Welcome to our newly constructed Whitetail Ridge lakefront vacation home with panoramic views of beautiful Lost Lake in Vilas County. Lost Lake is a 550 acre, full recreational lake and is considered a hidden gem, yet only five minutes north of Saint Germain.

This 2200 sq. ft. home (with an additional 140 sq. ft. screen porch) was designed so you can vacation in style and will comfortably accommodate up to 12 guests with the 4 bedrooms, 3 full baths and spacious, open kitchen/dining/great room gathering area.

As you enter, you’ll be welcomed with warm and inviting rustic North woods décor including vaulted ceilings with natural wood finishes and a heartwarming, stone front, gas fireplace. You’ll enjoy the stunning lake views through the extensive, lakeside windows.

The well-appointed kitchen features beautiful, rustic hickory cabinets, a center island, pantry cabinet, high-end appliances including a built-in dishwasher and microwave.

Enjoy the 3-season porch that allows for bug-free happy hours and game playing or the large deck if you prefer to gather outside.

The home is equipped with a backup generator so no need to worry about power outages during your stay.

An aluminum row boat is provided with this rental property. The boat is licensed so you are able to bring/rent a motor for it, if you like. Also, enjoy the 4 kayaks w/paddles and the paddle boat. Possible pontoon boat available to rent during your stay...Inquire if available. Enjoy the many bike trails with the tandem bike located in the garage. You'll want to bring your own helmets.

Whitetail Ridge is located on both the UTV/ATV trails and the Bo-Boen Snowmobile Trail. Our winter guests can directly access the lake from the property when heading out snowmobiling or ice fishing. The Bo-Boen Snowmobile Trail crosses over Lost Lake so you're able to connect to it nearby on the lake or right at the end of our road. You can also sled into town or head north to connect to hundreds of miles of groomed trails throughout the Northwoods.
