I had a very pleasant and satisfying stay at the Waterfront Hotel. The location is excellent, with easy access to the mall, plenty of options for food, and convenient shopping nearby. The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped with complete amenities. The view was amazing, especially at night when we could enjoy the beautiful DUN lit up. ✨ And the indoor pool is to die for! 🏊♀️❤️ The kids enjoyed it so much! Even with the haze outside, we could still have fun and enjoy some quality family time in a comfortable indoor setting. Overall, a very comfortable, convenient, and family-friendly stay. Definitely a place we would happily come back to! 😊

I have an enjoyable stay in Imperial Riverbank Hotel in Kuching, It's location is very strategic, near to waterfront, the famous eateries like Jak Ma An Restaurant, Main Bazaar and so on. We just have some walk to enjoy the musical fountain near the hotel. The only downside is the hotel breakfast is too simple and repeated every day, only the noodles is different for my 3 nights stay. Anyway, the staff are all helpful and friendly. Will choose to stay this hotel again if I visited Kuching in the future.

Raia Hotel & Convention Centre is big and faces the Kuching airport terminal. Pick-up is at Gate 3 of the airport arrival hall after WhatsApp the hotel. In five minutes, the hotel white van with the Raia Hotel logo came to pick me up. Upon entering the room and activating the power source, the television automatically shows Bloomberg News. I had tried to switch it off to sleep but the remote control did not function. I cannot see the airport runway from my room. It may be possible to see Air Borneo aircraft ascend to the sky at a corner in a twinkling of an eye. I slept for four hours thirty minutes and woke up after the prompt wake-up call to check-in for Air Borneo's flight to KLIA on 8 August 2026. Kindly note that the hotel is under renovation and enhancement works until 19 September 2026. It is not practical to stay in the room during and after breakfast and the room has no minibar. If one does not have a flight to catch in the morning, stay elsewhere in Kuching.

The suite in this hotel was spotless and well-equipped, with excellent soundproofing. Its location is fantastic, right across a footbridge from a large shopping mall, and it's easy to hail a taxi. The only downside, unlike other Ascott properties, is that there's no in-room washing machine. You have to buy coins at the counter to use the laundry facilities.

However, the area itself and some component of the room seems worn down. Regular maintenance check needs to be done to maintain absolute cleanliness of the whole area and the rooms.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Meritin Hotel, Kuching We stayed at Meritin Hotel from 15–19 August 2026 during our golfing trip and had a very pleasant experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well maintained. Breakfast offered a reasonable spread of both Western and local dishes, with one of the main staple dishes changing daily, which added a nice variety during our four-night stay. The location is excellent, right in Kuching’s Chinatown, with plenty of cafés, local eateries and street food within easy walking distance. What impressed us most was the warm and friendly hotel staff. Special mention and appreciation to Akmal Hanif, who went out of his way to assist us with storing our frozen products even after we had checked out, and consistently made sure everything was fine throughout our stay. His helpfulness and genuine hospitality made a real difference. Overall, excellent value, convenient location and outstanding service. We would gladly stay at Meritin Hotel again on our next visit to Kuching. Highly recommended! 👍👏

This hotel is budget-friendly, offers great service, and has sufficient facilities, making for an excellent value stay. I booked a superior single room. It's not large, but perfectly adequate. The facilities are complete, and hygiene is excellent. The shower water is hot and has good pressure. The hotel's buffet breakfast is decent! There's a good variety, including hot dishes (meat and vegetarian), porridge, side dishes for porridge, eggs, milk, bread, salad, and fruit. Of course, the offerings change slightly each day. It's perfectly sufficient for a basic breakfast. The hotel staff are enthusiastic, proactively help open doors, and greet you with a smile. Their service is attentive. Overall, this hotel offers extremely good value for money, and my stay was very satisfactory! The only minor drawback is that it's a bit far from the city center (it would take about 50 minutes to walk), but getting a taxi in Kuching is convenient and inexpensive, so the location issue is completely acceptable. The key point is that it's much cheaper than hotels in the city center. If you're on a budget, this place is definitely worth considering.

We had a lovely 3D2N mother-daughter and intergenerational friends’ stay at Cove 55, Santubong, and it was exactly the sort of peaceful break we were looking for. The grounds are beautiful and very calming, with a real sense of tranquility and serenity. The staff were lovely — warm, attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. Our mothers are in their 80s, and the pace and setting were perfect for them. Two nights felt just right for a restful getaway. The room was spacious, bright and comfortable. The bed was firm and very comfortable, and the air-conditioning was powerful — an absolute godsend in the Santubong heat. The complimentary water, coffee and tea provided were adequate. The weather was generally nice, although scorching during certain parts of the day, so we were glad to have a cool room to retreat to. Our stay was simple and very enjoyable: we basically ate, chatted and swam. The food was good quality, with generous portions, and we were very satisfied with the meals. The place feels lived in rather than brand new, but it is respectably clean. I would not describe it as immaculate, but it is by far cleaner than many hotels and retreats in Kuching. The only thing I wish we had done differently was to request ground-floor rooms in advance. As our mothers are in their 80s, it would have been easier for them to avoid climbing the stairs. For anyone travelling with elderly guests or anyone with mobility concerns, I would suggest requesting ground-floor rooms when booking. Overall, Cove 55 is a beautiful, serene place for a quiet escape, especially for families or friends wanting to slow down and spend time together. I would happily recommend it.

For me, the location of this hotel is strategic as i like it near to the airport and beside one city mall. It's also near to Gala City. The front staff always ready to helped. My friend and I had stay here for 3 night. The room which we stay on our first night are comfortable, clean and tidy. But, the problem is when the glasses of the bathroom suddenly broke down by itself which result to my friend got slightly injured as she on her way to defecate. The hotel did pay for the compensation towards my friends after she went to the clinic. Hence, we need to change our room after the incidents. The second room are not so comfortable as on the second night i cannot sleep due to my skin got itchy, which, I believe it cause from the bedsheet. Then on the next day, i asked the housekeeping to change the bedsheet. The problem is solved. Overall, I'll give 7.5/10 to this hotel.

Our stay was for 3 nights, on the first housekeeping day we realised that the door is not fully locked after…and we informed/reminded the receptionist! But it happended again on the 2nd housekeeping which is super disappointing and irresponsible. Though we may not keep valuables in, but again our door should be kept locked at all times. Yes the door is hard to close then shouldnt the hotel fixed it? Since i can close the door, i believed the cleaner should be able too as well?! Felt like the staff could do much better!

Staying in a treehouse in the forest with a sunset view – the ambiance definitely gets 5 stars. When we were leaving, we found a flat tire, but the hotel staff had all the necessary tools and helped us fix it, ensuring a smooth and safe journey home. Service also gets 5 stars. However, if you ask me if I'd come back, the answer is a definite no. Upon check-in, the front desk messed up our room – they assigned our pre-prepared room to someone else, forcing two families to switch rooms. Luggage delivery was available, but it took about half an hour for our bags to arrive. During breakfast, we had a lot of luggage and tried to use an empty chair next to us, but a server asked us to put it back. In reality, there were plenty of empty seats even when we left. The absolute worst part was the termites; the pillow area had a lot of termite droppings overnight, making for a very unsettling night's sleep.

The location is fabulous. Disappointed as swimming pool was closed and we were not informed before we arrived. Did not have breakfast at the hotel as what was on offer did not appear to be good value. We actually didn't see anyone having breakfast. If this hotel was upgraded, it would be an amazing hotel to stay in. Absolutely brilliant location. We were moved room to room a few times until we found one that was fine. The gem of this hotel, without any doubt, is the staff. Kind, smiling, friendly, very helpful. They are the reason we would book again and they are the reason we extended our stay by another 3 days. The hotel is also 2 minute walk to the excellent Borneo Cultures Museum. I do not have photos of the hotel itself so I have posted photos of the view from our hotel room

However, there were some small ants crawling on the dining table, and occasionally entering the bedroom, even though there was no food left exposed. Otherwise, I would have given a full 5-star rating.

They are quite worn out, and the lack of proper inner sponge/padding support left us with back pain. A few of the pillows require replacement too. The location is still ok because there is a mall so if you want to eat or buy things you are still happy, but if you want to go to the waterfront, it takes 25 minutes, in front of the apartment there is also an everise, but yesterday we ordered the 2 bedroom one, 13th floor, the funny thing is that the wifi we use is the hotel wifi so it's a bit slow, there's no soap in the room, he said Sinad, it's just not available, finally he was told to deliver it, there wasn't even an iron, when I checked out I asked, he said he wanted to chat then it would be delivered hadeh🤧, even though when he arrived there was no response to the chat, it was annoying Plus, if you want to use the washing machine, you have to rent it for 35 RM a night👎, that should be the facility we get when we rent an apartment, I live in another apartment, even though the washing machine isn't in the room, it's kept downstairs, if we use it, it's free. Why do you have to pay for this? , 200 rm deposit, 37 rm in cash, they said it was clean, the apartment wasn't the same, don't know, other floors, other owners, the same or not

The swimming pool is very strict, for Muslims, it is not very encouraged to stay there because taking a shower with a muslim jersey shirt, which can't be compared to that time there were people who came out from the swiming pool, which was a shirt like us, but he could come in.. time we can't get in and the staff is very rude. Prepare to wear inner or swimsuit only. then car park is very difficult. We flew into Kuching in August 2026. Our flight arrived in the evening, and we were looking for a place to stay overnight that also offered easy access to tourist attractions. We were met in the lobby by a very friendly host who clearly explained where the apartment was located and how to use the keys and elevator. The apartment is on the 10th floor. Everything in the room was exactly as pictured on Trip.com. It was very clean and tidy. There's a microwave, refrigerator, kettle, washing machine with detergent, iron, ironing board, and a vacuum cleaner. Drinks, cookies, and instant coffee are also provided. On the 5th floor, there's a rooftop pool with views of the Sarawak River. The Kuching Waterfront promenade and bridge are a 25-30 minute walk from the hotel. It's beautiful there in the evening. However, we weren't able to have dinner at the restaurants near the waterfront as they close between 9:30 PM and 10:00 PM. There are, of course, some cafes that are open 24/7. We bought cheese flatbreads from one of these and brought them back to the hotel for dinner. Finding good coffee in the morning was also a challenge. I went into a cafe and bought coffee, but it was terrible – tasted like just 3-in-1 instant coffee. The apartment is wonderful; I highly recommend staying here.

Raia Hotel & Convention Centre is big and faces the Kuching airport terminal. Pick-up is at Gate 3 of the airport arrival hall after WhatsApp the hotel. In five minutes, the hotel white van with the Raia Hotel logo came to pick me up. Upon entering the room and activating the power source, the television automatically shows Bloomberg News. I had tried to switch it off to sleep but the remote control did not function. I cannot see the airport runway from my room. It may be possible to see Air Borneo aircraft ascend to the sky at a corner in a twinkling of an eye. I slept for four hours thirty minutes and woke up after the prompt wake-up call to check-in for Air Borneo's flight to KLIA on 8 August 2026. Kindly note that the hotel is under renovation and enhancement works until 19 September 2026. It is not practical to stay in the room during and after breakfast and the room has no minibar. If one does not have a flight to catch in the morning, stay elsewhere in Kuching.

It's right above Boulevard Shopping Mall, making dining, shopping, and general errands very easy. It's also relatively close to the airport. The hotel itself is a well-established business-style hotel. The rooms are very spacious, offering a great sense of space, and the beds are quite comfortable. What I particularly liked this time was the spaciousness of the room and the good natural light. It was clean and tidy overall. The hotel's swimming pool is also worth mentioning; it offers expansive views, and watching the sunset on a clear day is very pleasant. The breakfast selection is quite rich, including local specialties. The Sarawak Laksa is definitely worth trying. Service was generally consistent, and the staff were friendly. Had a pleasant stay at Amamas Boutique Hotel. The room was clean, comfortable and spacious and the overall atmosphere was cozy and welcoming. The location was also convenient for getting around. The only issue was that the shower drain was clogged, so the water drained quite slowly. Hopefully this can be fixed for future guests. Other than that, the stay was good overall.

My partner and I spent 3 days and 2 nights at the Grand Margherita Hotel Kuching for an event, and it proved to be a fantastic base for our trip. Day ones are quite friendly, though they don’t have own transport so we need to grab around the city, or arrange for external transport for longer distances like Semantan beach. The bedside table in the triple room was fixed thus we couldn’t combine the beds together. Room was almost cleaned daily if you hang the signage, lifts only accessed with their hotel room card thus we requested for 2 cards for a family of 4. Food in the cafe is yummy as we were awarded rm25 Voucher per pax daily! We love the tomyam pasta, kids loved the breakfast eggs! As the hotel is situated near a roundabout, with some roads unable to turn into the hotel directly, traffic could take some time especially during the morning and evening peak hours

Overall room was ok, toilet facilities abit old…should have do some maintenance! Our stay was for 3 nights, on the first housekeeping day we realised that the door is not fully locked after…and we informed/reminded the receptionist! But it happended again on the 2nd housekeeping which is super disappointing and irresponsible. Though we may not keep valuables in, but again our door should be kept locked at all times. Yes the door is hard to close then shouldnt the hotel fixed it? Since i can close the door, i believed the cleaner should be able too as well?! Felt like the staff could do much better!

Even with the aircond set to 16°C at full blast, the room was still not cool enough. The door key card reader also appeared to be broken and there was no bathtub. Overall, the stay was quite okay. However, if the aircond issue persists, I would consider staying at another hotel on my next visit.

Front door closes at 11 but can use the back door to go into hotel at midnight Would come again if need be in the future for quick check ins with my families and friends in Kuching
