The location is ok, we travel by our car so the location is fine. The room is ok, the bed is comfortable. There are enough facilities for kids to play and have fun. The bathroom is not clean. The shower head doesn’t have a support, and the water pressure is weak, making it difficult to take shower.

Positive: Good location and clean room Negative: - No elevator, big luggage or family staying from second floor onward will be challenged. - Thin wall, AC noise and other room bathroom usage will bug you. - Annoying light, bathroom light and room light are the same button. It means if you want to use bathroom at night you will need to turn on light for the whole room. - Unfriendly staff, check in counter and security aren’t friendly. Only cleaning lady’s are friends. Hopefully the hotel management will check room quality esp light and noise

I've been here many times, and it's definitely one of my top picks in Kampot province. The value for money is exceptional, breakfast is delicious, and the surroundings are beautiful. As a self-proclaimed clean freak, I can confidently say their beds and linens are spotless, so I never experienced any itchiness – their hygiene is excellent. The only minor downside was that I kept getting calls from other rooms, with guests mistakenly thinking my room was the front desk.

I have stayed at this Boutique hotel many times; however, in my recent stays, I noticed that the level of cleanliness has dropped. I could clearly see stain on the towels and bathrobes. I understand that after running for some time, things get weary. That said, wouldn’t it be better to change them if they get old or got stained that couldn’t be removed? I hope they maintain the cleanliness though.

The portier, who is also the entire hotel staff, was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming to us. The location is great—not too central and near the port, but also not too far; the market is just a couple of minutes away on foot. Our stay was very pleasant, even though the weather wasn’t (raining and a little bit stormy). The bathroom was a little bit adventurous because of the weather, as it had an open roof—but we knew that. We would recommend this hotel, and we are coming again.

Peaceful Retreat with Excellent Service Overall, Bali Villa Kampot is a great place to truly unwind and do nothing for the whole day. The environment is very peaceful and quiet, perfect for relaxing and escaping from the city. The only setback is the location. Google Maps and Grab do not link directly to the villa, and there are two listings named “Bali Villa Kampot” on the Grab app. If you select the wrong one, you may end up dropped off in a very remote area. It took me some time to figure this out. That said, the staff service is excellent—so warm and helpful that it quickly makes you forget about the transportation inconvenience. Their hospitality really stands out and enhances the overall experience.

На первом этаже расположен бар с несколькими столиками стоящими на улице из бара из этих столиков прекрасный вид на реку. Рядом расположенные поющие фонтаны, фонтан с лошадью. Если выйти из отеля направо и в первом же повороте повернуть направо идти около минуты здесь находится точка отправления автобусов в сиануквиль. Можно в самом отеле купить билеты на автобус, можно арендовать мотоцикл или велосипед. Две минуты идти до пляжа на реке тоже очень красивый вид в любое время дня вечером в кафешке открываются музыка играет.

The staff spoke relatively good English, so we never had any communication problems. The rooms are spacious and nicely furnished, though a bit noisy, so our earplugs came in handy. For breakfast, there's a larger Asian selection, freshly prepared eggs, and a small continental choice. The à la carte food at the restaurant was also good. However, the hotel is almost 15 minutes outside of Phnom Penh (by tuk-tuk), which means you can't just pop into the city easily.

I costed me $38 and I stayed here for a night. I came here as a solo traveler and booked a double room with balcony. There was a big pool on the first floor. The location of the hotel was decent, although the road to the hotel was pretty rocky and deserted, kind of in the middle of nowhere and I’m unsure of how safe it is during the night seeing as there’s not many lamp posts. The room is great and spacious. The bathroom was spacious and the room was nicely decorated. You can watch YouTube on the TV but like most hotels the smart TV doesn’t really work properly so Netflix didn’t work. The amenities they offered were enough, they provided a refrigerator, hair dryer and all the other necessities that a standard hotel would provided. Although the bathroom would flood due to how far the drain was from the shower head, you can just move the shower head closer to the drain so it would not flood the whole bathroom. Everything was clean. But there was a minor mosquito problem when I woke up in the morning. Bathroom door lock doesn’t really work properly, butyou just have to pull it a bit harder. The service was great, the staff were helpful and communicative. I got an avocado toast and milk coffee for brunch at the restaurant, it was good. I would come back here when I return to Kampot!

This is a very well priced accommodation but wish we’d known a few things first. There is only a fan in the room which means the room is very warm outside of directly in front of the fan. This did mean we ended up lying side ways on the bed to both reach the fan. The bathroom had mesh across the back so has an outside feel and some outside critters. We had to evacuate a few huge flying beetles across the two nights. It’s a peaceful location further away from Kampot centre than others but there’s always tuk tuks available right out front so isn’t too much of an issue. We probably would stay closer to the centre next time as we prefer to be closer to restaurants, despite the nice views of the river. Showers are okay temp and low pressure but overall fine.

I can confidently say this is the best hotel I’ve stayed at so far in Cambodia. It’s located in a very central area, within walking distance to the main attractions. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. The air conditioning works perfectly and cools the room very well. There is a smart TV with internet access, and it runs smoothly without any issues. The reception staff are professional and helpful. They clearly know what they’re doing and are always ready to assist. The hotel also provides motorcycle parking. At night, security takes the motorcycles inside and places them back outside in the morning, which I really appreciated from a safety perspective. There is an elevator in the building, which is convenient. This is my second stay at this hotel, and they even recognized me upon check-in. Although check-in is officially at 2 PM, they kindly gave me my room at 12 PM. Hot water is available with no problems. My room also had a balcony, which is great if you want to step outside and get some fresh air. Both the room itself and the bathroom are quite spacious. The price is also very reasonable. Honestly, under these conditions, I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in the Kampot area. If you’re looking for a clean, reliable, centrally located hotel without unpleasant surprises, I highly recommend staying here.

GGuest UserExtremely clean and always having a great smell, the rooms are not getting too hot during the day , so that’s another plus. Cleaning ladies are so friendly and always smiling, really nice atmosphere. Location is good too

Positive: Good location and clean room Negative: - No elevator, big luggage or family staying from second floor onward will be challenged. - Thin wall, AC noise and other room bathroom usage will bug you. - Annoying light, bathroom light and room light are the same button. It means if you want to use bathroom at night you will need to turn on light for the whole room. - Unfriendly staff, check in counter and security aren’t friendly. Only cleaning lady’s are friends. Hopefully the hotel management will check room quality esp light and noise

This hotel is okay. I found the location to be good and just a short walk to the main busy areas. The young lads who work there are lovely and always greet you when entering or leaving which is lovely. Where this place fell short for me was I had a leak in the bathroom. The water was dripping out onto the floor constantly. When I told them the bathroom floor was full of water they didn’t seem concerned or interested in fixing the solution even after looking at it - I had to ask for a room change, it was not offered. None until next day which was fine but I had to then ask for a bucket to try and prevent having to walk through water every time I needed to use the toilet. I got one and it filled it very quickly. I got moved to another room next day and had no fridge - they put one in there for me after me asking. I stayed for 4 nights and no one came to sweep my floor or provide a new bath towel/ toilet roll. Also I asked about laundry and told it be done by afternoon the next day. I left a bag of clothes. Went to collect the ‘evening’ of the next day and my bag was just left under the reception counter not done. Not sure why no-one didn’t ask each other why is this bag still here? It had been longer than 24h. I had to be up and on a bus out of Kampot the next morning :-( I have scored well because they change me to another room but I had to ask for it. That pipe need fixing - someone could slip and hurt themselves.
