They also offer motorbike rentals, and the location is very convenient.
I enjoyed my stay so much that I decided to extend it last time. The owner is very kind and friendly, and I definitely plan to stay here again!
Guest UserGuest UserNice and clean new hotel. The room is big enough and clean, but not much of view, in the photo is the view from my room. It is near durians roundabout which is quite convenient to walk to the Kampot river and access nearby restaurants near the roundabout.

I didn’t mind that the hotel was across the river from the main restaurants, coffee shops, bars, etc, as they could be reached within 20 minutes on foot. However, the surrounding area from the hotel looks a bit desolate and it has a lot of construction going on.LRTNLRTNMontagne Residence offers a comfortable stay with some standout features, especially for travelers who value space and style. The rooms are impressively large, giving plenty of space to relax, unpack, and feel at home rather than cramped like in many hotels. The overall design of the property is modern and clean, with a minimalist aesthetic that makes the environment feel fresh and well-maintained.
One of the highlights is the swimming pool, which adds a nice touch for relaxing after a long day. The surrounding area complements the modern design of the residence, creating a pleasant atmosphere to unwind.
However, there are a couple of drawbacks worth noting. The air conditioning can be quite weak, which may make the room less comfortable, especially in hot weather. Additionally, there tend to be quite a lot of mosquitoes around the property, which can be inconvenient if you're sensitive to bites or planning to spend time outdoors.
Overall, Montagne Residence is a good option if you prioritize spacious rooms and modern design, but improvements in cooling and pest control would make the experience much better.

I would not recommend booking tours from the hotel as they may not be guides , just drivers that don’t speak your language.

The room was large, had comfortable beds, and opened up onto a balcony with a view of Kampot town.....the only thing it lacked was a small fridge to keep food and drinks in. Although it was a bit far from the training venue, the hotel's central location in Kampot made it incredibly convenient to access nearby restaurants and supermarkets, so I was very satisfied with the location. The room I was assigned was spacious and airy, which was lovely, but on the other hand, the shower stall was extremely cramped and inconvenient to use, which was a shame. Additionally, the old air conditioner was quite noisy, and a large number of ants appeared in the middle of the night, making it very difficult for me to sleep. However, the front desk staff were excellent and their warm hospitality really made up for it. Given the superb service and convenience, I really hope they can improve the hardware aspects like air conditioning and hygiene management.
