I really liked this hotel. Room was lovely and beautiful and a nice cute walk into the old city. We had so many bags and they came with a little cart to carry them for us. Also because we stayed many nights they took us for free to the airport. We would totally stay here again. Now that said I had 1 problem. We were here in summer and it got quite hot in the room. We were on the top floor and the sun hit the roof and really heated things up. I couldn’t get it cold enough to be comfortable even with the air conditioner. In the future I would choose a room not on the top floor or only visit this hotel in non-summer months. Otherwise it was perfect! FromHK$285

Wonderful stay. We stayed here for 2 days, then left for Shangrila and came back to stay for 1 more day. When we came back from Shangrila, it felt like coming back home because the atmostphere here is so comfortable. The hostel owner and staffs are really nice and supportive. They help us to book the ticket for Songcheng Park with a price cheaper a lot than directly buying. They also helped to deliver our luggages from the ancient city entrance to the hostel and back when we came and when we left. The location of the hotel is excellent also. The boss upgraded the room to allow us to rest early and pack our luggage. We recommend chartering a small group for the itinerary. The environment is very comfortable. Most importantly, the service of the staff here is amazing! I want to thank this lady (I didn’t get her name) at the reception who referred me to the concierge for the booking of the tickets to the YuLong Snow mountain. The concierge, Nicholas Bun was really helpful with the booking of tickets, which has to be purchased at 8pm sharp, first come first serve. I didn’t have right app to do it so he helped us totally with it and even provided me with oxygen tank. We have a wonderful time at Liqiang and Hampton by Hilton was situated slightly away from the Ancient city but it’s a nice walk over there in the evening. After spending time at the ancient city, we could take a taxi back and it’s very convenient. The room is clean and spacious and what impressed us is the hospitality of the front desk personnel. A special call out to Lisa who helped checked us in efficiently and referred us to the lady who helped arranged our trip to the Jade Dragon Snow mountain and the Liqiang Impression performance. Otherwise, we would not be able to secure the tickets and had a seamless pickup, tour and return arrangement. Lisa also quickly offered a competitive room rate when we mentioned that we wanted to extend our stay. We are grateful for that.
We also want to call out the wonderful service extended by the front desk manager, Linda who personally delivered a fruit platter to our room and checked whether everything was as expected. We can only say the service is exceptional and we decided to stay another night at Liqiang on our return trip from Shangri La. Linda helped arrange everything despite the late notice from us. They picked us at the gate, prepared some snacks and fruits for our late arrival, and when we left early next morning for the mountain they helped pack breakfast for us.
The breakfast offered at the hotel was really good. The rice noodles were the best of all I had at the city. Though the hotel is inside the ancient town, and can hardly be as spacious as intercontinental, the room very large and comfortable.

The rooms were beautifully and thoughtfully decorated and included amazing handmade soap and lip balm! The food was incredible—we especially loved the rice noodles and the farm fresh breakfast! The gardens and grounds were spectacular. The owner came and talked with us about her experiences in Yunnan and recommended places to visit. We can’t wait to come back with the whole family!

This quaint boutique hotel was the exact ambience I was looking for when visiting Lijiang. The staff were very kind, attentive, and helpful. They were very patient in helping me with online arrangements for my trip planning. The room is not that big but the attention to details was evident. The breakfasts were scrumptious and prepared me for long walks late into the afternoon. Thank you for a wonderful stay and I would definitely come back to Anyu Dayan if I visit Lijiang again.
