Great location, with plenty of dining options nearby. Plus, there's a Lulu exchange shop right across the street, which is super convenient for changing money and has good rates. I had an unpleasant experience, though it wasn't entirely the hotel's fault. I arrived close to 2 AM. I had booked a twin room, but the hotel said the order they received from Trip.com's agent was for a king-size bed. They wanted to charge me 10 OMR per night to add an extra bed. Trip.com eventually covered this cost, but it still meant I wasn't settled until almost 3 AM… The breakfast was quite varied. The water pressure in the shower was a bit low, and the bedding didn't feel as crisp and dry as I'd have liked…

My stay at Kempinski Muscat was truly outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel’s elegant ambiance, impeccable service, and attention to detail. One of the highlights of my experience was the dual-pool offering, which allowed me to enjoy breathtaking ocean views while also having the option of a quieter, more serene setting. This thoughtful design caters to both relaxation and scenic indulgence. The breakfast experience was equally remarkable, offering a diverse selection of high-quality dishes. The attentive and welcoming staff further enhanced the overall experience, ensuring that every moment of my stay was seamless and enjoyable. Kempinski Muscat truly exemplifies luxury hospitality, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking an exceptional stay in Oman.

The location is not really in the city center; however, there are still many amenities, restaurants, shops, etc., within walking distance. Many malls are nearby, but transportation is required. You will need to rent a car to move around and visit tourist attractions, which are a bit far. The hotel is like a 5-star hotel with a swimming pool, gym, restaurant, etc. The studio apartment is spacious with still-new-looking furniture, and the toilet is nice and sparkling clean. The shower water pressure and hot water are good; I kept looking forward to a hot shower after a day out. It has a complete kitchen with all cutlery, a microwave, a kettle, etc. (no washing machine though unlike other hotel in the same group). The bed was good and comfy, and I had an excellent sleep after a tiring day. I booked the studio for 6 days and 5 nights with breakfast. The breakfast was superb, mainly continental with limited variety. However, it started to get boring on the third day as there was no change to the menu except for 2-3 dishes. The communication and services by the hotel were excellent, very responsive and prompt. I requested toiletries, drinking water, etc., a few times, and they were provided promptly. In summary, I consider it a good hotel with excellent services.

location good. near some fast food eateries. hotel breakfast was good but needs a bit more variety - i stayed for 3 nights so the dishes were almost the same every day. My room was comfortable. unfortunately my view was not great (another building). there were a lot of bugs (like flies) in the bathroom because there is poor air circulation. suggestion: please have clothes hangers that can be used in the bathroom. Some hooks o the wall would be useful for coats/jackets. the lady at the reception when i checked in wasn't warm or friendly. she had a neutral face. no warm greeting or friendliness that i would expect from a frontline hotel staff. she also was there when i checked out - she was on the phone and just gestured for me to drop my key card in the box. no ”thank you”, or ”bye” or anything. nobody helped me with my luggage when i checked out. my van pickup was blocked by a parked car so i had to use the steps (and not the ramp). it would be nice if there was someone from the hotel to assist. there was a male staff who helped me when my key card did not work on 14 September 2025. He was very helpful, warm and actually accompanied me to my room to check the card. good service! overall, good stay. would definitely return if come back to Muscat.

This is my second visit to Muscat and I was impressed by the pool, which is over 100m long. The pool is truly gorgeous! Since August is the low season, there are not many guests at the hotel and you can swim in the pool alone, as if it were your own private pool! In fact, there are 3 pools. So you can choose the one that suits your taste. Perhaps, swimming in the Gulf of Oman did not impress me much. Let's just say that there are better seas. But, on the other hand, there is always such a small percentage of vacationers who want to swim in the sea that most people just need to go in, jump in the waves and get out. In terms of enjoying the beach, the experience here is 100% positive. The service on the beach is excellent! They constantly bring ice water with lemon and mint, offer refreshing napkins, and treat you to fruits. The hotel is designed in a traditional Arabic style and fully meets the idea of a luxurious holiday. The dark palette in the interiors emphasizes the architecture and gives a sense of sophistication. For guests who book villas, the Amouage bath line is offered. In simpler rooms - Аsqua di Parma, which is also not bad! As for the food, in my opinion, it is ordinary, without frills. I received undoubted aesthetic pleasure from staying in this beautiful place, but the hotel did not make any gastronomic impressions on me. At the same time, there are no complaints about the service. Everyone I dealt with - reception staff, beach staff, waiters are exceptionally friendly and responsive!

The hotel boasts a French romantic style, exuding a retro charm upon entry. Despite its age, it's well-maintained, and the rooms are spacious. Before going to bed, we discovered the bathroom fan was very loud. We contacted the hotel for repairs, but the technicians couldn't resolve the issue. The front desk stated they were full of rooms of the same category and could only offer a lower-category room. Therefore, we were forced to contact Ctrip customer service at 3 AM to coordinate with the hotel manager. Ultimately, the problem was resolved with a room upgrade. While the front desk's handling of the situation was flawed and may have shown some discrimination, Ctrip customer service was very helpful. It's important to stand up for your rights when facing problems. The hotel swimming pool is currently open, with a small door leading to the public beach. Room facilities are complete, and the breakfast is average.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Stay – Highly Recommended I had a wonderful stay at InterContinental Muscat Hotel from 21st to 23rd January. From the moment we arrived, the experience was smooth and pleasant. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the hotel has a very nice, welcoming scent throughout the lobby and common areas. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the bathroom was spotless. The pool area is great, with different depths (1.1 m and 1.3 m), plus a dedicated kids’ pool around 30 cm, which makes it ideal for families as well. One of the highlights is the direct access to Qurm Beach, which is a big plus. Breakfast was enjoyable with a good buffet selection, and the staff throughout the hotel were very friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Overall, a great stay and a classic, reliable 5-star experience in Muscat. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay again.

We needed a hotel for one night, so we tried to find ”economy” class option and chose this hotel. I guess it's quite challenging in Oman. I was a bit disappointed with the experience. The bedsheets and pillows are yellowish colour. So we slept on the duvet cover wearing our clothes. There was an insect on the pillow. Was it a bedbug, a baby cockroach or a mite, I have no idea, but that was awful. One of the windows was broken and open, so we had to sleep like that. There was no ”dunes” view like somebody wrote here. The windows are dirty. There are sanitary kits, slippers, 2 bottles of water, but all this don't outweigh the quality of beds. I have to say that the breakfast is delicious with some traditional dishes what is very interesting. Overall, there are, for sure, things to be improved in the rooms.

We had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Collection in Muscat. From the moment we arrived, the reception team provided excellent service and made us feel very welcome. During our stay, we visited Qureshi restaurant, where both the food and service were amazing. A special thanks to Ashwani, who gave us excellent recommendations that made the experience even better. We also dined at Omny restaurant, where the chefs did a fantastic job preparing seafood exactly as per our request. The staff, especially Sonia and Amir, were warm, attentive, and looked after us throughout the meal. We also appreciated the hospitality from the manager, Shiva, which made the experience even more memorable. The only area that could be improved was the breakfast service. Unfortunately, the staff did not seem very engaged or friendly, even though the restaurant was not busy at the time. Aside from breakfast, everything else about our stay—from the reception to the restaurants—was outstanding. We truly enjoyed our time at the Radisson Collection and look forward to returning in the future. Thank you once again ..

House keeping was horrible they don’t change linens even it was dirty and torn. I had to call them to change it. The carpet was wet and they didn’t do anything even they don’t clean tables. The hotel's location is great, but the service was a bit slow. Parking is available in the B2 underground garage, but there's no direct elevator, so you have to carry your luggage up one floor, which is quite inconvenient. Breakfast on the M floor was just okay; the fruit selection was poor – overripe watermelon, very sour pomelo, and decent cantaloupe. Room cleanliness was subpar, with noticeable black stains on the pillowcase. The bathtub drain was clogged, so I had to turn off the water frequently while showering to let it drain.

Generally good stay over, however just a few small things. All the staff were lovely, the king size bed was very comfortable and the rooms were spaciously sized. However twice with room service we were left without towels in the room, as well as other bathroom amenities (we ended up only receiving one towel for two people, miscommunication?). When we also asked to do laundry and requested a quote sheet to see how much it would be, staff were unable to answer. Instead we were given a blank sheet of paper to write down all our items. It ended up being quite expensive and we were requested to pay immediately on receipt of laundry rather than at check out (mind you, same day turn around of laundry). Staff were again great- just a few policy practices that could be refined.

Excellent hotel, we loved everything. If possible, book a room with a balcony and sea view; the view is gorgeous. The pools are lovely. The breakfast buffet is varied and delicious. The hotel is a bit far from civilization, so a car is highly recommended. The on-site restaurants are expensive, and eating there every day would be very pricey. Excellent location, many restaurants Shisha bar nearby, also is in the middle of everything. To all attraction everything is within 30 minutes taxi including airport. If you want to do boat trip or see activity, maybe it’s better to leave closer to the port. Before us the extra 20 minutes on a taxi is not a problem. Very clean, very spacious, providing quiet luxury vibe. Breakfast is a little bit smaller selection than I expected, but the food quantity is good. The room is very spacious and comfortable layout, the best bed I’ve ever slept on in any luxury hotel. Only problem I had was in the room, they might need to do some quality checks, a lot of appliances does not work, for example the steamer didn’t Work, need the time to change it, also scale doesn’t work, it doesn’t read a matter for me but everything adds up just a small little disappointment. On the first night, there’s some really loud noises from the air-conditioning throughout the whole night, raise this in the morning, second day afternoon already fixed it. It was a quick fixing, but I would have expected the room wouldn’t have such noises when I check in. The spa is amazing!! highly recommended to do at least two hours treatment, this is definitely one of the best spa experience in any hotel. Servicing overall is very good, specially the room cleaning stuff super friendly, the ladies in the spa also very nice, everyone on the servicing are super friendly, helpful. Just a front desk reception with a little bit of colder attitude. Facility wise is enough, good size pool not the biggest but is enough. Unlike most of the luxury hotel,This MO hasn’t got their own private beach, it’s a beachfront property, however they have a small sessions on the beach with hotels own beach chair for the guest. Is not a usual larger luxury resort, only 150 rooms, I will say the facility is okay but I would expect a little bit more. Also, there is no information to pre-book any activities or any special activities going on in the hotel unless you ask. Pool size service m may be need a little bit of improvement. The stuff is very nice to lay down the towel the moment you reached the pool or the beach area. But this level of hotel should automatically bring some water, ice bucket, or sunscreen available to the seat. They are sunscreen only laying around at certain spot and you need to stand and use it. Overall experience has been amazing, also it is top three best and luxurious hotel in muscat. But for this price everyone will expect a little bit more. I’d definitely rate 8.5/10 of the 3 days stay here.

Very nice stay overall. The room was super nice and fully up to Mövenpick’s premium standard. The staff were also extremely friendly, and they were very flexible — they even offered breakfast, which I really appreciated. I spent my Christmas Eve there, and they had an event by the swimming pool. It was a bit pricey, but you could see they put a lot of effort into it, and higher prices are expected in a premium hotel. The location is very good, close to the main attractions and also near the airport by taxi. The hotel has a nice swimming pool and a jacuzzi, and the view from the pool area is quite open with a beautiful mountain backdrop. There are also several restaurant options on-site, which is convenient. Overall, it was a solid and enjoyable stay, and I definitely recommend it.

It was a nice and clean hotel with good location. We arrived early am at 7:30 and we got our room at 10am. So that was very kind. Great service. We could fresh us up for the day ahead. A lot of shops and restaurants in the area. At if you don’t have a rented car, you can take easy a taxi on the road (oTaxi or Yango), but better bargain about the price upfront. It is also easy to take the bus to Mutrah Souq (line 1 or 1a). You need to change at Rewi bus station (line 4). Total busticket .800 bias per person. Would definitely stay again at this hotel. There is gym and a separate swimming pool for women. Walking to mall of Oman takes 45min. The road going there is convenient and good (head to panorama mall first and the to Oman mall). After a week-long cruise in Singapore, we were flying from Emirates to Oman Air to Muscat. Our original flight was canceled, leading to a 5-hour layover at Dubai airport, which left us extremely tired. Just a minute before landing, our plane was instructed by air traffic control to circle around due to other flights, causing a half-hour delay. Fortunately, the meet-and-greet service booked via Trip.com was excellent. Mr. Alaraimim met us in the final 5 minutes and reassured us not to worry, saying he knew about the delay and would definitely wait for us. In fact, he not only picked us up but also escorted us into the hotel and waited until our check-in was complete before leaving. Upon hearing our story, the Radisson manager suggested we switch to a Tower 4 apartment suite, as it was more spacious and had a washing machine for laundry. There's also a supermarket next to the hotel where we could buy groceries and cook for ourselves. We accepted the suggestion. The manager personally escorted us from Tower 2 to Tower 4, showed us where to exchange currency in the underground mall, and even took us to our room to explain how to use the appliances. His enthusiasm was truly heartwarming. The other staff members were also friendly and polite. We are very grateful. Breakfast is served on the ground floor of Tower 4. The space is elegant, and there's a good variety of food. Omelets and well-done fried eggs can be ordered and prepared on the spot.

This offer cost me 17 dirhams due to a special promotion, which is a suitable price for this kind of option. Our room was on the 4th floor with a view of a narrow gap, so we considered it a viewless room. The bed was comfortable, and the blackout curtains allowed us to get a good night's sleep. The internet signal was excellent, suitable for watching videos and making calls. The room had several light sources. There are photos of the rooftop, which has a lounge area and a pool with cool water. The hotel has parking, which is convenient for travelers with cars and close to the airport. They offer breakfast, and there's a fitness center in the building, but we didn't use these services. The staff kindly allowed us a late check-out. The bathroom needs some minor renovation; the mirror light wasn't working, there were traces of rust, and the water pressure in the toilet was weak. Next time I visit this city, this hotel will definitely be my first choice. I've already recommended it to friends! #ComfortableStay #HighlyRecommended #TravelEssential

Ive choosen this place cause its central, easy to access and 24h check in. The room been spacious, clean, comfortable beds, complimentary coffee and dates in lounge. They been helpful to organise a taxi for local prices to the airport. Very polite and friendly staff. The breakfast been compared to other hotels in Muscat a bit pale. But I would still recommend it.

The hotel was very well maintained and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was also good, two malls and different restaurants were close by. Overall, had a great experience with the hotel.

I recently stayed at the Aero Hotel at Muscat Airport and was very impressed. For transit travelers, it's practically the perfect option. The hotel is located right in the airport, which makes transfers incredibly convenient – no need to travel anywhere, everything is just a few minutes' walk from the terminals. Muscat Airport itself is very comfortable and calm for transit flights. There are significantly fewer people and less hustle and bustle here than, for example, in major hubs in China or Dubai, so waiting for your next flight is much more pleasant. The Aero Hotel made a very good impression. The room was modern, clean, and tidy. Everything looks new and well-maintained. I got a room with a view of planes taking off and landing – it was interesting to watch the activity on the runway. Overall, I can say that this is an excellent option for resting during a layover. The hotel is comfortable, quiet, and very conveniently located. I can confidently recommend Aero Hotel to all transit passengers flying through Muscat.

These are not critical flaws and can be easily fixed.

The hotel is located in a good location. The city is not meant for walking but you can actually walk to the very big mall called Oman Avenues Mall which also has IKEA. Room is quite nice except the bathroom that has a lot of visible mold on the ceiling. Service at check-in is good and staff is friendly.

MYI live to travel
location good. near some fast food eateries. hotel breakfast was good but needs a bit more variety - i stayed for 3 nights so the dishes were almost the same every day.
