This is my 5th and I love staying here as always. The hotel is clean and smells good. This hotel is situated nearby park for a quick stroll, restaurants once you get hungry and grocery shops where you can buy your immediate needs. I would say the accommodation is a bit pricey but there are days where you can book this at a very affordable price.Plus the staff are very accommodating and friendly for any urgent needs. Overall I am very satisfied with my stay here and would love to book again here.

This is a classic hotel, well located, full service (though a little slow at times) and it was very busy when we were there at Chinese New Year. The staff are friendly and helpful. This room was small but comfortable. Breakfast is fabulous but be careful of the queues (as well as when checking in and out). The gym is well stocked and the pool area is pleasant although the pool is a little small. The food is good all round. It is conveniently located next to the giant malls of Makati where there is plenty to eat and shop! I enjoyed our stay and would stay again. The lobby is lovely.

However, the room felt a bit too small for couples, and there is no tables,. especially if you’re staying for more than a night or have luggage with you.

The overall ambiance is very upscale, and the hotel's design and atmosphere really give off a resort vibe. However, the service details were just average. The lobby also doubles as the afternoon tea area, and there were barely enough seats to briefly rest before checking in, making the whole area feel quite noisy. Upon arrival, no staff proactively offered to help with luggage. During check-in, my room wasn't ready, but the hotel didn't immediately explain why. Instead, they used vague statements to delay, telling me to wait for the room number to be notified via email. After I repeatedly pressed for an answer, I was finally told the room was still being cleaned, which was not a great experience. For breakfast service, the coconut juice I ordered took a long time to arrive and tasted mediocre. Overall, the facilities and environment are excellent, but there's room for improvement in service details and communication transparency.

The hotel is located in Makati. This place is very busy, it’s a business district with traffic jams and so on. There are lots of bars and restaurants and I was surprised that it’s actually Red Light Street. Near the hotel there’s a small supermarket. There is also a big mall with lots of shops, about a 10 min walk away. It’s called Century City Mall. The room is okay, but a bit old and small. Anyway, it’s fine for this money. The staff was very polite, and check-in was very fast. Overall, it’s good. It’s not my first time at Red Planet Hotels. They are quite similar, and you can find them in different districts. Some are very new and some are old, it depends on thedistrict.

Very friendly staff. The hotel is definitely a budget hotel, which is fine. However they have a strange policy of only cleaning the room every 4 days. We were booked to stay for 5 days, so cleaning on day 4 made little sense. Fortunately the staff changed our cleaning schedule to day 3. They will not exchange towels outside of the cleaning day, unless you pay an additional fee. Personally I will opt for a more expensive hotel next time, but if you're looking for a room with a bed and shower, and nothing else, this will likely suit your needs.

Security, check-in, bell boys are great. The facade of the hotel is far more better than wat is real. Some elevators are not functioning properly. Bed are neat and clean. Aircon is acceptable. Location is excellent but for people not accustomed to nightlife hang-out are advice to not to stay out passed 10pm. But in general, with the reply and action of personnel, I say withour any doubt the hotel rate is acceptable and worth it.

Breakfast service is a trash , don’t know dignity to serve the guest with special food dietary requirements. Highly not recommended for vegetarian or vegan guests. Kitchen staff have nothing to serve and they avoid serving guests. Also they can give a tough fight for bottled water they provide two bottles of around 300 ML per day, which is highly unlikely either they must arrange water coolers at all floors. At least such a great hotel chain like ramada don’t miss on water revenues highly unfair. Water is a basic necessity and if they don’t provide with basic necessities they are not into hospitality business either. Still front desk staff are polite but kitchen management staff are not so favourable and don’t bother if you have nothing to eat. Your dignity and respect to guests must be your responsibility as you are paid for your service so you are not doing obligations on them. Please try to be polite and respectful at all times. Think yourself lucky if you can serve someone with dignity

We stayed here for 2 days and I can tell it was a right choice of accommodation. First, area is good, you can walk around, there are many cafes and supermarkets and malls, but you can also take taxi easily and go to BGC, historical area, or an airport. The room was cozy with cool design, there are all amenities available. We loved the common area with the working desks, small cafe bar. The rooftop has a wonderful view from the 13th floor.

For a 5 star hotel, the service is very annoying. They would call me randomly to ask for feedback a few hours after I checked in. They would knock on my door early in the morning while I'm still sleeping to do a ”room check”... On the day of my check out, I had a knock on the door a bit past 9am, I ignored it as I was still in bed but they kept ringing the bell. I finally got up and the lady asked ”is there anything I can help with?”. Yes leave me alone. I went back to bed to rest and then got a phone call soon after as a reminder that check out is at 12pm. It's not even 10am yet and your staff already interrupted my sleep twice. Trying to get the room clean involves multiple phone calls. Once I left it to see how long it would take but at 6pm, I had to call since they never came during the day. Another time they cleaned, the cleaners said they ran out of towels so there would be someone who would deliver soon. I forgot about it until we went to have a shower and then it took almost an hour for the towels to arrive so we had to wait to use the bathroom as they took away the dirty towels so we didn't have anything to dry ourselves. Don't order room service. The food is very bad. I actually gagged on a drink they prepared. The TV is very old, they are still using cable technology. WiFi is patchy. Trying to get up and down the lift is a nightmare if you come at the wrong time as the line gets backed up all the way out into the street. My girlfriend was stopped by over eager security staff when she was trying to leave to buy some snacks as the room service meals were so bad even tho she had a room key and they would not let her up to the lobby on the 6th floor without me. Instead, I had to go down and pick her up from the ground floor where she was sitting in the corner like she was in trouble.

However, if there’s a next time, I hope they can pay closer attention to my specific requests, such as assigning a higher-floor room. Regarding housekeeping, I noticed that after having some food in the room at night, a few crumbs remained on the floor. Even after the daytime cleaning service, they were still there, which suggests the cleaning wasn’t done thoroughly. Also, every time you enter the hotel, your belongings are checked for security reasons — which I understand — but it can be slightly bothersome. As for the location, the hotel is very convenient as it’s right across from the Greenbelt shopping mall in the city center. That said, guests should note that the connection between the hotel and the malls other parts is either via outdoor paths or a footbridge, so those sensitive to heat might want to keep that in mind.

The hotel review: My experience at this Shangri-La property was not as good as others in the region. The building and facilities feel noticeably older, which affects the overall stay. In the room, the air conditioning was not adjustable. I do appreciate that the team promptly sent a technician to check it, but the unit remained very loud throughout the night, cycling on and off every few minutes, which made it difficult to sleep. Traveling with another friend, her room also encountered an issue with the bathtub water appearing brown, which technician conclude that is due to sediment buildup. Overall, I would recommend choosing the Shangri-La in BGC instead, as it offers a better experience.

The location is excellent, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby. It's also within walking distance of two large parks. There's even a Spanish restaurant just downstairs. The hotel has a balcony, which is very comfortable to sit on. The room itself is spacious. I was given a room on the 8th floor, which was great. However, this room had two issues. First, the gap under the door was too large, letting in light at night and noise in the morning. Second, the refrigerator in the room was extremely noisy, making a creaking sound. At first, I thought it was mice, but then I realized the refrigerator's motor was causing various parts to rattle. Service: Overall, the service was good, but being rushed to check out at 10 AM was a bit annoying. Check-out is usually at 12 PM, and most hotels give a reminder around 11:30 AM, so yours was a bit too early.

I’m Japanese and stayed here for 3 nights without breakfast. I often use this hotel because I have things to do nearby. The hotel is clean, and the communication with the staff is minimal, which makes it comfortable and easy to stay here. There was a strong smell from the hallway. And we can smell it all all way in the room, they moved us on a different floor but we can still smell it although is not as strong as the first room. It smells like paint or almost like gasoline but according to them they are not sure what or where is the smell coming from isn’t it that weird? The lady apologized when we checked out but that is not the point. If that chemical caused a major health problem, can a sincere or 100 x sorry fix or cure it? Safety first is very important, having visible safety measures and following protocols can reduce legal and financial risks because neglecting customer safety can lead to massive compensation payouts and to also protect your reputation. Our first night Eugene was very helpful to bring our grab food to our room but the next day when we ask front desk if they can bring  the food we order from outside, someone from the front desk said that we need to need to get it ourselves😁. But when we mentioned that Eugene was able to help us the other day and had no problem with it that is when he asked someone to bring the food. I am not sure if they are not allowed to do that and we got Eugene in trouble. But that is how you stand out among  other businesses, is you do things above and beyond and you create a memorable and positive experience. The place is clean and spacious the location is great. The hotel buffet breakfast, I think they can do better.

Had a great stay at this hotel as always. This was my 4th or 5th visit and they never disappoint. The place was homey and inviting, location was superb, breakfast buffet was awesome and the room & bed were very clean & comfy - I slept well. The staff were consistently warm, professional and accommodating. Definitely 5 stars ⭐️.

This is my 5th and I love staying here as always. The hotel is clean and smells good. This hotel is situated nearby park for a quick stroll, restaurants once you get hungry and grocery shops where you can buy your immediate needs. I would say the accommodation is a bit pricey but there are days where you can book this at a very affordable price.Plus the staff are very accommodating and friendly for any urgent needs. Everything works fine except the room availability, which is subject to admin limited capacity to accommodate requests. Appreciate that some rooms are not available. It happens. It would be nice to set expectations before guests arrive or even before they book the room. This way they may be able to strategise and consider the possibilities. The photos are helpful as well. This I and other guests depend on heavily. My case is that non,smoking with window room is non-negotiable due to health restrictions. Thanks to the staff for understanding and assisting during the stay.

The elevators were very slow. One is under maintenance and the other only fits 5 people even though it says it could fit 20, probably needs fixing too

We had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was nice and very clean, which we truly appreciated. Everything was well-maintained and comfortable. However, the room felt a bit too small for couples, and there is no tables,. especially if you’re staying for more than a night or have luggage with you.

Breakfast service is a trash , don’t know dignity to serve the guest with special food dietary requirements. Highly not recommended for vegetarian or vegan guests. Kitchen staff have nothing to serve and they avoid serving guests. Also they can give a tough fight for bottled water they provide two bottles of around 300 ML per day, which is highly unlikely either they must arrange water coolers at all floors. At least such a great hotel chain like ramada don’t miss on water revenues highly unfair. Water is a basic necessity and if they don’t provide with basic necessities they are not into hospitality business either. Still front desk staff are polite but kitchen management staff are not so favourable and don’t bother if you have nothing to eat. Your dignity and respect to guests must be your responsibility as you are paid for your service so you are not doing obligations on them. Please try to be polite and respectful at all times. Think yourself lucky if you can serve someone with dignity
