We enjoyed our quick getaway thanks to this hotel being in the heart of the city. We arrived early in the morning and I was so surprised they were able to check us in at 9AM. Superb! The room was pristine and breakfast choices varied. Although, I hope they had more protein than just bacon and sausage, perhaps something less processed. But regardless, I enjoyed the other options and the bacon, yes. Pool is 4ft deep so I didn’t have to worry about my shorty self, lol. Oh and our room had the lagoon view so that was nice. It would have been nicer if they had the fountain lights at night though. Perhaps another time. Would love to come again should we visit Bacolod next time.

I booked seven rooms for a night for my family and relatives, totaling 20 people. Before our stay, I tried reaching out to the hotel through email, phone calls, and a third-party booking app, but I couldn’t get any responses. I only received an automatic reply saying they were unavailable and suggested I try again later. On the day of our check-in, I called the hotel around 2 PM to confirm our late arrival since we had a day tour planned. Thankfully, they answered and noted our late check-in. When we arrived around 6 or 7 PM, everything went smoothly, and they accommodated us on the same floor, which was great! The hotel provided basic amenities, but we noticed there were no bottled waters in the rooms. Some relatives were uncomfortable using the water dispenser located outside the rooms, which made it a bit inconvenient. We understand the hotel’s effort to reduce plastic waste, but it would have been nice if they had provided reusable glass bottles instead. Overall, we had a lovely stay. Everyone had a good night’s sleep, and the next day we enjoyed the clean pool, with staff available to help us. The hotel rooms were tidy and well-maintained.

The suites Calle Vieja = Old (and not so called Nueva = New) is run from a distance in Iloilo. That's why maintance is poor. In every room are shortcomings. Nightly noise of the bar next door. Bathrooms cannot be aired out. Staff is excellent, mangement is lousy. A stinking hot welcome at the reception. The hotel is fiddling with room rates and does not give senior discounts, which are required by Philippine law. The last reservation I canceled. I don't want to stay overnight with ithem anymore. As for Trip.com: we have been tricked again: bookings appear to be going through ******* again. ******* also mess with room rates, just like the other brands they use, and it's impossible to contact them about refunds. They simply don't respond. Hotel and booking site: never again.

Special shoutout to April, who assisted us when our originally assigned room was rented by a guest extending their stay. She handled the situation smoothly and even arranged an upgrade, which we truly appreciated. They also have a very interesting elevator system — it surprised us at first, but we eventually got used to it, and it added a fun, unique touch to the stay. Breakfast was plated, with limited options, which is the only downside of our stay. However, what was available was prepared well and tasted good. Overall, it was a good experience and definitely worth coming back to.

Hmm... where do I start? First, I'd like to give credit where it's due—the staff were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. They definitely deserve 5 stars for their service. Unfortunately, the accommodations are in need of a major renovation. I had to pay extra for a blanket, and the one I received wasn't even in good condition—it had a tear. I also requested a hair dryer, but I was told I could only use it for one hour. As you can see from the photos, many of the furniture pieces need repainting, and the room itself looks quite worn. My air conditioner had ice building up on it, which made me think it probably needs cleaning or maintenance. The bathroom also had several issues. The toilet wouldn't flush properly, and there was no shower curtain, so water ended up all over the bathroom floor. I actually apologized to the housekeeping staff when I checked out because of the mess, even though it wasn't really my fault. Overall, this hotel just wasn't for me. It may suit other travelers, but I hope management takes reviews like this into consideration, especially since the location is actually excellent—it's only about an 8-minute walk to SM. Oh, and one last thing... I was a bit surprised to see a large poster in the lobby promoting HIV testing and screening. It caught me off guard and made the atmosphere feel a little unsettling. 😅

I think these events can attract more customers if they are advertised well in the hotel and its vicinity.

On the day of our check-in, I called the hotel around 2 PM to confirm our late arrival since we had a day tour planned. Thankfully, they answered and noted our late check-in. When we arrived around 6 or 7 PM, everything went smoothly, and they accommodated us on the same floor, which was great! The hotel provided basic amenities, but we noticed there were no bottled waters in the rooms. Some relatives were uncomfortable using the water dispenser located outside the rooms, which made it a bit inconvenient. We understand the hotel’s effort to reduce plastic waste, but it would have been nice if they had provided reusable glass bottles instead. Overall, we had a lovely stay. Everyone had a good night’s sleep, and the next day we enjoyed the clean pool, with staff available to help us. The hotel rooms were tidy and well-maintained.

I extended my stay because it was extremely difficult to find a hotel at an acceptable price due to the Mascara Festival. Booking breakfast isn't really worth it.

L’Fisher is a bit of an older hotel, but the rooms are clean (except for the windows, which I didn’t mind). Many people love their breakfast, though I found it just okay. What I really liked was how spacious the room was and that the bathroom had a bathtub, which my child thoroughly enjoyed. Compared to the newer hotels, L’Fisher offers much larger rooms, which is a big plus.

We stayed from December 4–6, 2025, and overall had a pleasant experience. The cleanliness of the hotel was good — rooms and common areas were well-maintained. The front desk staff were friendly and very professional in addressing our concerns. Special shoutout to April, who assisted us when our originally assigned room was rented by a guest extending their stay. She handled the situation smoothly and even arranged an upgrade, which we truly appreciated. They also have a very interesting elevator system — it surprised us at first, but we eventually got used to it, and it added a fun, unique touch to the stay. Breakfast was plated, with limited options, which is the only downside of our stay. However, what was available was prepared well and tasted good. Overall, it was a good experience and definitely worth coming back to.
