Magnificent hotel, the staff were incredibly friendly. They checked us into one of the best corner rooms with an excellent city view. And the rooftop pool? Absolutely incredible, even better in person than in the photos – we're completely thrilled! We'll try to come back for our next vacation.

Rawai Beach Phuket|20.05km from city center
This resort is located in Rawai, and it’s a great choice if you’re looking to stay away from the chaos of Patong. We booked a room with direct pool access, and it was absolutely worth it, especially in Thailand’s warm weather. We also really enjoyed the fresh coconut juice and mango sticky rice from the small kiosk just outside the hotel. It’s very convenient, with a convenience store nearby as well perfect for quick snacks. The beach area has a lovely atmosphere, especially the chairs under the trees, which make for a relaxing spot to sit and enjoy the view. However, swimming isn’t ideal as the water is a bit murky. It also seemed like some drainage from nearby resorts flows directly into the sea, which was disappointing.

For the latter half of our trip to Phuket, we switched to the Marina Phuket Resort, nestled between Kata and Karon beaches. Firstly, this hotel boasts a traditional Thai style, built on a hillside with a rich tropical rainforest vibe. Strolling through the grounds feels like being immersed in a romantic jungle. The architecture is distinctly Thai, and the landscaping offers beautiful scenery at every turn. What truly stands out is that the rear of the hotel connects directly to Karon Beach. Come sunset, gazing out at the horizon, the crimson twilight merges with the sea, waves caress the golden sand, and the dark cliff rocks add to a stunning, unparalleled view. You can walk along the soft, fine sand or enjoy playing in the water – it's perfect. Next door, there's a restaurant that hosts fireworks and fire-breathing shows in the evenings, so if your timing is right, you can enjoy them for free. Secondly, the hotel's service is generally attentive and gentle, very much in the Thai style – perfect for a relaxed, slow-paced vacation. Guests receive complimentary dinner daily at the Red Chopsticks restaurant right outside, offering a fusion of cuisines that's pretty decent. Breakfast is served by the pool, though the selection isn't extensive. Finally, I personally feel this hotel is better suited for older families or couples seeking a quiet retreat. For families with young children, there aren't many play areas, and due to its hillside location, it might be inconvenient for the elderly to move around.

The room was big and we were really happy with it. We loved the bed — it was very large and comfortable. We didn’t get to use the swimming pool because we didn’t have much time. The staff were great and excellent overall. We did not request housekeeping on our second day. Someone cleaned the room and thank you for that, but they forgot to replace the bath mat when we returned around 11 PM. I was too tired to ask, so I just let it go. However, I was surprised later when they questioned why the bath mat was missing. I definitely had no plans to take a bath mat with me on my way to Koh Pangan! 😂 the lady who assisted us in checked put were so lovely she just did her job and apologize for asking this and she did a great job.And to the guy who assisted printing my bus ticket thank you so much. The towels also weren’t changed during service and there was no bath mat, but honestly, it was fine with us. Still, being accused of taking the bath mat was a bit insane. 😭

Absolutely loved this hotel! The ambiance is fantastic, and the exterior has a really stylish design with lots of greenery. There are several pools, but the rooftop infinity pool with sea views is definitely the highlight. The room design is practical and comfortable, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The staff were very helpful, assisting with luggage to the room. Well, as has been said before, this is an Instagram hotel, great for pretty photos. Check-ins and check-outs are non-stop, with a constant change of faces. But the photos really do turn out beautiful. We had a room with pool access, which was very small. It was a tight squeeze for two people. There was nowhere to even put our belongings, let alone dry them. There's one small rail near the bathroom. No closets. The floor was constantly wet because of the pool access. Plus, the shower door didn't close properly, so water splashed everywhere. The sink was in the middle of the room. Basically, water everywhere! I removed my daughter from the photo, hence the AI caption. Oh, and by the way, their restaurant is quite good and, most importantly, affordable. We later checked into another hotel nearby but kept coming back to their restaurant.

Love the location of the hotel. Smack in the middle of the town, but far from noises (just a bit of noise from the boxing stadium but quiet after 12am). Room was comfortable for 2. they take 2000baht cash depo per room tho, just I thought was too much (they don’t take credit card). The water heater also keeps going too hot and cold.

First and foremost, the service was truly exceptional. Whether it was the buggy drivers or the restaurant staff, everyone was incredibly polite. A special shout-out to our butler, Meiling, whose excellent Chinese made communication effortless and who patiently assisted us with all our requests throughout our stay. The Thai restaurant also served delicious food. However, there were a few downsides. For a room costing tens of thousands a night, the daily fruit offerings were quite underwhelming; two dragon fruits on the first and third days, and three oranges on the second day felt a bit ungenerous. Also, the minibar items were all chargeable. The turndown sweets were also very basic, just a few small cookies, which was quite disappointing. Another major point that didn't align with the price point was the hotel's spa. While the environment was decent, the techniques and procedures were no different from a regular massage outside, which was quite a letdown. The airport transfer service on our last day was a pleasant surprise; after arranging it with the hotel, we were met by a dedicated hotel staff member at the airport who guided us through fast-track customs, which was fantastic.

Lovely modern hotel with a great pool! Our room was large and exceptionally clean with a super comfy bed. I was unwell when we arrived and the staff were very accommodating, allowing us to check in to our room early. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the big shopping centre, but other than that, is quite far away from the main attractions of Old Town (though Grabs there are pretty cheap!). The gym is ok but would benefit from some updated kit and AC 😊

I had a great stay at Best Western Patong Beach Hotel and was very satisfied overall. The room was super clean and well maintained, which made the stay very comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, and the service throughout my stay was amazing. I initially booked my stay without breakfast, but I decided to try the breakfast for one day at the hotel, and I was pleasantly surprised. The breakfast was very good, with a nice variety, and it was reasonably priced, making it great value for money. The hotel’s location is another big plus. It’s close to everything — you can easily find tuk-tuks nearby, it’s very close to Bangla Road, and getting to the surrounding beaches is quick and convenient. Despite being so centrally located, the hotel is quiet at night, with no noise disturbance, which I really appreciated. I was also very happy and touched by the birthday gesture from the hotel, which made my stay feel even more special. Coconut Village Resort is quite good in terms of both location and cleanliness. It's close to the beach. There's also a 7-Eleven store outside the hotel. Bangla Market is 1 km away. I'm a little disappointed with the management because I booked two rooms about a month and a half ago. I had two children with me, but they gave us separate rooms. According to the booking, they should have reserved the adjacent room for me.Rooms 110 and 113 are both in the same direction and a short walk down the stairs. I requested a room as well, but they said there were no rooms available. So it's the management's fault.

The private beach offers snorkeling, though I didn't swim out too far, so I only saw a few small fish and sea cucumbers. The hotel also has free activities, but we didn't participate. However, there's a significant issue with the room: even when the curtains are closed, there's a large gap between the head of the bed and the curtain, allowing sunlight to shine directly on your head around 6 AM, making it hard to sleep in. ☹️

I really liked the hotel. The biggest plus is the location. It's only about an 11-minute walk from the airport, so if you need to stay overnight between flights or just don't want to travel anywhere after a flight, this is a very convenient option. The breakfast is quite tasty, and the hotel is clean, cozy, and comfortable. Everything is tidy, and the staff is pleasant. For its price, the hotel fully meets expectations and is an excellent choice for a short stay. As for the downsides, I'd note the absence of slippers and dental amenities (toothbrush and toothpaste) in the room, as well as rather weak internet. The front desk lady Jenny at that time of night was incredibly considerate and sweet .She upgraded me to a pool room, and I truly appreciate that. Also, there was a lovely cleaning lady Kanyakorn who cleaned me room every day and was very attentive and pleasant , she let me borrowed the iron exceptionally longer period of time😅Overall, I felt taken care of and very welcomed. The service and hospitality were excellent. The breakfast was okay—I’d rate it about 6.7 out of 10—but the hotel itself is beautiful. It has a couple of pools and it’s right on the beach, with many restaurants around. Hotel got a small gym as well which is good enough for few days workout and oh yes they offer complimentary half an hour morning trainings as well which was nice . I also remember a v kind gesture from them i ordered late night food and they forgot to deliver to bring and on being reminded the food and beverage manager felt terribly sorry and wanted to send free meal next day which wasn’t needed for me so I declined politely but they were so sweet they still ended up sending a fruit platter to room.In all , with such great hospitality, I would definitely come back to the hotel. Cleanliness: Very good. I even saw the cleaning staff take off their shoes before entering to clean the room. Service: Mostly okay. It was during a marathon, so there were a lot of guests, but the basic services were met. The front desk seemed to have some new staff members; there was a mix-up with unlocking my door, which led me to run up and down four times. They could definitely use more training and shouldn't be distracted while serving guests. Environment: This is a large hotel within the Laguna complex. It offers great value for money, which explains why it's so popular. The hotel has its own pool, and transportation within the community is very convenient. Facilities: Decent. The bed was too soft for my liking, not very comfortable to sleep on. However, for the price, the value is excellent, and the lake view room is absolutely stunning – highly recommended! The hotel grounds are expansive with excellent facilities. It's very quiet at night, and the natural environment is lovely, with small animals roaming freely. There are three swimming pools, a gym, a bar, and a kids' club. Our sea-view room was very close to the back entrance, which leads directly to the beach, and it was also convenient for taxis. Guests booking day trips need to take a shuttle to the main lobby to wait for their transport, but it's very convenient, so don't worry about the large size of the resort being an inconvenience. If you're on a leisurely trip and don't want to wake up early, you don't need to book the hotel breakfast. There are many restaurants around; just a 5-10 minute stroll from the back entrance, and you'll find plenty of dining options. The soundproofing is average. The hotel room doors have a small gap and are quite thin, so I could hear other guests chatting outside the door at 8 AM. I'm a heavy sleeper, so it didn't bother me much. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to request a room away from the elevators. I saw other guests commenting that the hotel felt damp. Being an island hotel, I think some humidity is normal. However, indeed, washed clothes don't dry if you hang them inside the room; they won't dry even overnight. But if you hang them on the balcony, they dry within a morning. Cons: [Slight flaws in the details] 1. I booked a twin room, but the two beds were pushed together. I left notes twice requesting an extra blanket and also gave a tip, but I never received one. Perhaps my English wasn't clear, or maybe the staff couldn't understand English? I eventually gave up. 2. Point #1 is a minor issue that someone with good English should be able to sort out, so it's not a big deal. However, what I found most unacceptable, and something that shouldn't happen at a Pullman hotel, occurred during check-out. There were two staff members at the front desk. An older female staff member, probably in her 40s (her name tag seemed to say PLOY), was on the phone. A gentleman then approached and politely said, ”Hello” (likely to check out). Before he could say another word, the staff member looked down, frowned, and said abruptly, ”Wait a moment, wait a moment,” in a very impatient tone. The younger staff member who was assisting me with check-out perhaps also felt the other staff member's attitude was poor, and immediately and gently added, ”Please wait a moment, sir.” I stayed here for 6 days and encountered no less than 20 hotel employees, all of whom were smiling and proactively offered help when they saw you might need it. Therefore, I was very surprised to witness such an expression and attitude from staff at such an important position as the front desk during check-out. I hope they improve this.

Plus, the sea view room offered stunning scenery every day, making it excellent value for money. Of course, being close to the sea means it can be humid, but the hotel rooms have air conditioning running 24/7. As long as you don't leave the balcony door wide open, you won't feel the humidity. Every time I needed to go up or down the mountain, I had to take a taxi, which was expensive here. They have a shuttle service to go down the mountain, but you have to taxi back up yourself. The mountain is super high, and the room had bugs and ants that bit me in many places, causing an allergic reaction. Every time I rode up the mountain, I was on edge. I'm usually quite sensitive to the humidity and insect issues often found on islands, but at Meliá, I could confidently open my luggage without fear of ants or other bugs, which really enhanced the comfort. The whole hotel atmosphere is great – you could easily just stay in and not even leave. We stayed for four nights, celebrating my child's birthday, and the hotel decorated the room, making my child very happy. For a price of just over a thousand [currency unit not specified, assuming RMB or similar for context], I personally think it's excellent value, much better than the EDITION in Haitang Bay. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit Phuket.

An excellent choice for budget and longer-stay travellers, offering excellent value for money. The hotel is modern, clean, and has a lively atmosphere without feeling busy. I stayed in a Breeze XL room, which was spacious enough for our luggage, tidy, and well equipped with a mini kitchen, good air conditioning, and a strong shower. The rear-facing view wasn’t anything special, but that wasn’t a major issue. The rooftop pool and restaurant are definite highlights, with nice views over the town and mountains. The restaurant has a large menu and represents good value, although the food didn’t quite meet my own standards. The gym is another strong point, especially if you enjoy cardio, as it has plenty of equipment, a dedicated yoga room, and even personal trainers available. The free weights area is a little cramped and the selection is fairly limited, but it’s more than adequate for most hotel stays. The bed felt a little worn, but I still slept well throughout my stay. The hotel is dog-friendly, which initially concerned me, but it wasn’t a problem at all. I wasn’t disturbed by noise, and the hotel remained clean with no signs of pet mess or hair. The location isn’t ideal if you want to walk everywhere, but taxis are cheap and easy to get, so it wasn’t a significant drawback. Overall, I’d happily stay here again.

We frequently visit Kamala Beach and thought trying a different property for once. So it’s our first time staying at this property. We arrived with little expectation but it was a nice surprise. The hotel view was breathtaking. A trainee attended to us at check in, and he was a little nervous but was overall very helpful and polite. Our room was spacious, clean and with a private balcony. We enjoyed our seaview so much and wasn’t bothered with the traffic noise from the main street nearby or the loud music from the Kamala beach. Overall we enjoyed our stay, the staff hospitality, walking up to a beautiful view and catching the sunset everyday. Only issue, there were too many mosquitoes, either at their open F&B outlets or in the room too. The hotel should prepare some mosquitoes repellent for guests comfort and convenience. Otherwise will love to return and try other room again.

This was our first stop in Phuket. The hotel's location is convenient, situated at an intersection in Phuket Town, though it's about a 30-minute walk to the central walking street. Public transport is easily accessible, with the airport bus stop (Surakul Stadium) less than 200 meters away. The staff were polite and enthusiastic. Check-in was in a different building from our room, but a staff member kindly led us there. The room itself was very spacious, with strong central air conditioning. It was clean and comfortable, and the bottled water was reliable. Although it's not far from the main road, the environment was quite peaceful, as long as there weren't any loud 'hooning' cars passing by. 🥰

The shower water was inconsistent, alternating between hot and cold, and the temperature couldn't be adjusted. It was also extremely hot, making it easy to get scalded. The furniture is primarily made of wood, and our room had termites, with some visible wood erosion. **Key Features** * **Location:** Situated in the heart of Patong Beach, within walking distance of the beach and Bangla Road nightlife. * **Design:** Interior decor features ocean wave elements. * **Rooms:** 161 clean and comfortable rooms and suites, offering bathrobes, slippers, and Wi-Fi. * **Services:** * **Facilities:** Rooftop pool, gym, bar. --- ⭐ **Guest Reviews** * **Pros:** * Excellent staff service. * Rooms were more spacious than expected and well-equipped. * Convenient location, ideal for those who enjoy nightlife. * Reasonable price, great value for money. * **Potential Cons:** * Located in the lively Patong area, so there might be noise at night. * Not suitable for guests seeking a quiet getaway.

Traveling solo to Phuket, I picked this hotel after comparing options on Trip.com, and my overall experience truly exceeded expectations. The hotel's location is convenient, not too far from Patong Beach or Jungceylon, with plenty of food options, 7-Eleven stores, and motorcycle rentals nearby. It's also quiet at night, making it a peaceful and safe stay for a solo traveler. Check-in was smooth, and the restaurant on the sixth floor served good food. The overall cleanliness and hygiene were beyond what I expected – very clean. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly and spoke Chinese, so communication was a breeze. They even recommended many places suitable for a solo traveler. The hotel also offers motorcycle rentals, which saved me a lot of hassle. What I loved most was the hotel's overall atmosphere. It doesn't feel commercialized; instead, it gives you a sense of slow living in Phuket. Sitting by the pool in the evening, enjoying a beer and watching the sunset, was incredibly relaxing. If you're looking for a hotel that offers great value for money, is clean, safe, and has a personal touch, I highly recommend this place.

Overall, it was a good stay friendly staff, nice pool, and got everything in the room, fridge, ac, microwave and safe. it would be better if the bed was a bit bigger. I also informed it to the front desk. The front desk ladies Chan and another Thai lady were very nice and provided me a free toothbrush. The pool is nice and big enough for a good swim. Also a big shout out to the boy who helped us fix my friend's motorbike.[forgot to ask his name] I will go there again in the future as it is a good spot to relax.

I recently stayed at 77 Patong Hotel & Spa in Phuket for three days and had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is clean, comfortable, and offers good value for money. One of the highlights of my stay was the friendliness and hospitality of the staff. They were always helpful, welcoming, and ready to assist whenever needed, which made my stay even more enjoyable. The hotel also has a nice swimming pool where guests can relax and unwind after a day of exploring Phuket. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is peaceful and comfortable. I would recommend 77 Patong Hotel & Spa to anyone visiting Phuket who is looking for a comfortable stay with friendly service and good facilities. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay enjoyable.

We were concerned about some bad reviews we had seen and were therefore pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The rooms were beautiful on the ground floor with a balcony area overlooking the pool. We had a wonderful massage and were treated very well. The hotel was quiet most of the time meaning we had the pool to ourselves most of the time. Staff were extremely kind and helpful . I would highly recommend this hotel.

The room was quite small, and the balcony room was noisy since it faced the street. But then again, Thailand is generally loud, so it really depends on the individual. It's a nice touch that the hotel provides pool towels. Oh, and it's super close to the night market!
