I must be honest here all the staff I met were excellent. From the guards to room service . They were very pleasant and friendly and I felt safe around them. The location was one of the main reasons for staying as both my parents graves are at Shahjalal mazar. The hotel was ok but could do with a refurb , the food quality in the Antalya restaurant needs much improvement especially due to the price they charge. Maybe consider making the menu smaller and improve the quality. The breakfast was very repetitive as I was there for 20 days. I think the swimming area lets in too many non residents which affected the enjoyment and restricted me from using it only a couple of times due to overcrowding. To be honest I would only stay there again if I heard there was a refurb . Will be back in November but not sure where I will stay. But I do miss the friendliness of the staff.

However, really couldn’t differentiate between between a “honeymoon” suit vs regular in terms of how rooms are setup or special amenities being offered.

I stayed at Royal Mark Hotel, Sylhet with my wife from 26–27 August 2026, and overall, we had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is relatively new, having been in operation for about a year, and it still feels fresh and well-maintained. One of its biggest advantages is the location. Situated in the prime area of Nurboxtula, Sylhet, it offers easy access to restaurants, shopping, and other city conveniences. The hotel also has two of its own restaurants, and Chef's Table Station is located in the same building, so dining options are excellent. We stayed in Room 1304 on the 13th floor, a corner room that was provided exactly as I had requested. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The king-size bed was spacious and offered a great night's sleep. The bathroom was also large, with modern fittings and all the essential amenities. There was a large TV, and the highlight was definitely the city view. Opening the curtains revealed a beautiful panoramic view of Sylhet, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only area that could be improved is the service. I felt that the hotel was slightly understaffed, and while the staff members were polite and helpful, they would benefit from additional training to provide a more refined and attentive guest experience. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. As with many new hotels, everything is currently in excellent condition, and I hope they continue to maintain these standards in the years ahead. Another big plus is the room rate, which I found to be very reasonable considering the hotel's location, facilities, and overall quality. I would definitely consider staying at Royal Mark Hotel again on my next visit to Sylhet.

My wife and I have traveled to over a dozen countries together, and this B&B was one of the most attentive hotels we've ever stayed in. We stayed here for two nights. The hotel is located in an alley, and the friendly staff offered to help us carry our suitcases, which meant we could sleep peacefully away from the clamor of the main street. The room also had a balcony for hanging clothes. The breakfast was excellent, delivered to our room two nights in a row, and it included my favorite protta flatbread. The front desk staff even gave me an extra one the next morning after learning I enjoyed it! The hotel helped us arrange the taxis to Jaflong, Ratargul, and Shada Pathor. The prices were very reasonable, and the drivers were very accommodating. After returning from Jaflong, my wife felt dizzy and vomited in the room. The hotel staff promptly cleaned up for us, which was both embarrassing and touching. The next morning, we chartered a bus to Ratargul and Shata Pathor, but in the evening we had to take a shuttle bus to Cox's Bazar. This meant we had to check out after breakfast. Our clothes were still wet, so the staff generously hung them out on the upstairs balcony. After a day of chartered travel, we returned to find them already dry. Even more touching, we returned from Shata Pathor at 5 p.m. exhausted and smelly, but we had already checked out. The bus to Cox's Bazar was at 8:40 p.m., leaving us with nowhere to go. Yet, the hotel allowed us to rest in our room for three hours, free of charge! I'm now showered and comfortably lounging in my room, enjoying the air conditioning, waiting for the bus to Cox's Bazar, and writing this review with gratitude. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in Sylhet again.

I must be honest here all the staff I met were excellent. From the guards to room service . They were very pleasant and friendly and I felt safe around them. The location was one of the main reasons for staying as both my parents graves are at Shahjalal mazar. The hotel was ok but could do with a refurb , the food quality in the Antalya restaurant needs much improvement especially due to the price they charge. Maybe consider making the menu smaller and improve the quality. The breakfast was very repetitive as I was there for 20 days. I think the swimming area lets in too many non residents which affected the enjoyment and restricted me from using it only a couple of times due to overcrowding. To be honest I would only stay there again if I heard there was a refurb . Will be back in November but not sure where I will stay. But I do miss the friendliness of the staff.

Overall, it's a decent hotel with an excellent location right next to the airport. However, it definitely doesn't live up to the 5/4-star rating in the usual global understanding. The prices for additional services at the hotel are inexplicably exorbitant. At the restaurant: Breakfast was okay. The first time I ordered curry for lunch, I specifically asked for it to be mild – they brought a very spicy one and then stood there watching my reaction. When I complained, they brought another equally spicy curry as an apology. I gathered that the food isn't cooked to order but served from what's left over from the buffet dinner, so no modifications are possible. Juice and coffee by the pool were incredibly expensive by Bangladesh standards. I didn't go to the spa, but the prices there were like in New York. Why this would be the case when we're in Bangladesh is also unclear. But the staff was friendly, and they arranged airport transfer for us upon checkout.

I stayed at Royal Mark Hotel, Sylhet with my wife from 26–27 August 2026, and overall, we had a very pleasant experience. The hotel is relatively new, having been in operation for about a year, and it still feels fresh and well-maintained. One of its biggest advantages is the location. Situated in the prime area of Nurboxtula, Sylhet, it offers easy access to restaurants, shopping, and other city conveniences. The hotel also has two of its own restaurants, and Chef's Table Station is located in the same building, so dining options are excellent. We stayed in Room 1304 on the 13th floor, a corner room that was provided exactly as I had requested. The room was spotless, modern, and very comfortable. The king-size bed was spacious and offered a great night's sleep. The bathroom was also large, with modern fittings and all the essential amenities. There was a large TV, and the highlight was definitely the city view. Opening the curtains revealed a beautiful panoramic view of Sylhet, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The only area that could be improved is the service. I felt that the hotel was slightly understaffed, and while the staff members were polite and helpful, they would benefit from additional training to provide a more refined and attentive guest experience. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. As with many new hotels, everything is currently in excellent condition, and I hope they continue to maintain these standards in the years ahead. Another big plus is the room rate, which I found to be very reasonable considering the hotel's location, facilities, and overall quality. I would definitely consider staying at Royal Mark Hotel again on my next visit to Sylhet.

My wife and I have traveled to over a dozen countries together, and this B&B was one of the most attentive hotels we've ever stayed in. We stayed here for two nights. The hotel is located in an alley, and the friendly staff offered to help us carry our suitcases, which meant we could sleep peacefully away from the clamor of the main street. The room also had a balcony for hanging clothes. The breakfast was excellent, delivered to our room two nights in a row, and it included my favorite protta flatbread. The front desk staff even gave me an extra one the next morning after learning I enjoyed it! The hotel helped us arrange the taxis to Jaflong, Ratargul, and Shada Pathor. The prices were very reasonable, and the drivers were very accommodating. After returning from Jaflong, my wife felt dizzy and vomited in the room. The hotel staff promptly cleaned up for us, which was both embarrassing and touching. The next morning, we chartered a bus to Ratargul and Shata Pathor, but in the evening we had to take a shuttle bus to Cox's Bazar. This meant we had to check out after breakfast. Our clothes were still wet, so the staff generously hung them out on the upstairs balcony. After a day of chartered travel, we returned to find them already dry. Even more touching, we returned from Shata Pathor at 5 p.m. exhausted and smelly, but we had already checked out. The bus to Cox's Bazar was at 8:40 p.m., leaving us with nowhere to go. Yet, the hotel allowed us to rest in our room for three hours, free of charge! I'm now showered and comfortably lounging in my room, enjoying the air conditioning, waiting for the bus to Cox's Bazar, and writing this review with gratitude. I will definitely stay here again if I'm in Sylhet again.

This is probably the best hotel to stay at in the city of Sylhet! Location is right in the city center and rooms were modern for a comfortable stay. The bellman were also super kind, often hailing me down CNGs to take me around the city, so special shoutout to them for that.

It’s a nice nifty hotel. Pretty well kept and a decent location, quiet area, while being in the heart of the town. Overall a really solid selection. However, really couldn’t differentiate between between a “honeymoon” suit vs regular in terms of how rooms are setup or special amenities being offered.
