The hotel itself is a historical building, and every corner is like a work of art! The room is quite large, and I was surprised that they even gave me a small gift bag (eye mask, earplugs, etc.), unlimited free water, but the mini bar needs to be charged, the bedding is very good, and the bathroom is also a local brand, which is very moisturizing. The breakfast options are relatively few compared to 5-star hotels. We stayed for 3 nights and the variety of breakfast did not change. This needs to be improved (because even some 4-star hotels have better products and varieties than this) The room cleaning is not timely. The next day, we even had to call them to change the toiletries, and many equipments took a long time to be delivered. The service is basically very warm and considerate. The location is really super convenient, and you can walk everywhere.

This hotel is conveniently located very close to São Bento station, so even with a lot of luggage, the walk isn't a problem. The hotel itself is very clean, and the toilet and shower are separated. There's also a changing area with a wall, providing good privacy even though there isn't a door. I stayed for three nights, and during my stay, it was my birthday. I was pleasantly surprised with a cake and wine! If I ever come back to Porto, I'd definitely want to stay here again.

Our experience was entirely positive. The location was perfect for visit being in the heart of Ribeira. The facilities fully met our expectations- with a comfortable room and bed and an excellent shower. The breakfasts were first class with a good range of dishes available. And importantly, the staff were always helpful from check-in through to respinding to the various small requests we had during our 3 night stay.

Everything else was great, except for the incredibly loud floor noise from the wooden floors. The creaking of the floorboards was truly extraordinary. The convenient transportation, good service, and ample breakfast were all excellent. The noise, however, was a major issue.

Very good hotel, but you had to ask for a toothbrush when normally hotels provide them without being asked. Be careful, the hotel records your credit card and will still charge you 3€ without your consent + the tourist tax, while in other 5 star hotels they don't do this.

First of all, we received a very warm welcome. Good thing is the view is stunning at this price. Ok, the bad thing is the wifi is non-existing. Breakfast you might need to queue up for 15-20 mins to be seated, it’s not that the tables are not enough, it’s just the recover is too slow. During the midnight you couldn’t open the windows due to the noise from the car racing in the street almost the whole night. You could walk to the town but not close.

The hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance of a lot of the areas of interest within Porto. The hotel itself it nicely decorated. The hotel rooms are compact, but the decor adds to the feeling of a boutique hotel. One of the best showers I have had in a hotel, powerful and easy to temperature control. The toiletries used were nice. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are fresh and spotless. Most of the reception staff are efficient and friendly. The rooms are well equipped with good robes/umbrella/good hairdryer/coffee machine and capsules etc There are a few things that the hotel could easily improve : Breakfast is definitely not something I would recommend. The choices were poor, definitely not fresh or local, and the cost is high. There are many much better choices nearby. The pillows were either a hard memory foam slab or a really lumpy soft pillow, surprising for the cost of accommodation. It was very hard to get fresh milk for tea and coffee on arrival, we asked reception and at the bar they could not make one even though we discovered at breakfast that they had a machine and fresh milk and take away cups readily available. The bar needs rethinking….it is the opposite of welcoming and the staff don’t make you want to stay. As there is no ‘lounge’ in the hotel, maybe this would be better utilised as a meeting place within the hotel.

Enjoyed my stay at Yotel Porto. Location is around 5 minutes walk from Trindade metro station for connections to airport. Room was great, powerful rainforest shower. I found the staff to be very helpful and professional. My only criticism would be there are illuminated light switches and controls in the room which don’t switch off / darken therefore the room is not completely dark for sleeping which isn’t helpful for a light sleeper like myself.

We checked in, there was no wait, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great touch that the staff member offered to show us a map of Porto and the key things he would recommend doing in the city. I can’t stress enough just what an excellent location this hotel is in, no public transport is required. All the key sights are within a short walking distance. It is also very walkable from the train station. The room was great, with adequate lighting, a huge TV and some excellent shower products. The bed was relatively firm and comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast for the 3 nights. There had been a miscommunication about the price of this, however, the hotel manager was very helpful in rectifying this via email communication after the stay. The young female staff member we engaged with for breakfast each morning was also very friendly, warm yet professional. As IHG Platinum members we decided to try this Hilton property and were not disappointed. It was excellent from start to finish and the prompt reply and rectification from the hotel manager is testament to the care, detail and excellent management of this property. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Porto.

I liked the most among European hotels I went to this time on my honeymoon. It's a small but lovely and very pretty hotel. When I was curious, it was said that it was built in 1829, but it is in excellent condition. It was rather antique and very good. When you open the window, the view is so pretty as if it were in a fairy tale. In the plaza in front, they perform performances, and they are gathered right in front of the bar restaurant, so the location is the best. If I go back to Porto, I will definitely stay at this hotel!! (Breakfast is tidy, but there are too few eggplants.)

Very nice hotel, we had a stay in a spacious 2 bedroom accommodation (2 adults and 2 children). Comfortable beds and room facilities are very satisfying. The only challenge was the lift in the morning and no option to use stairs which was very frustrating. Breakfast was very simple and didn’t offer a lot of variety, kids had a problem to have pancakes for breakfast and had to ask for it as it was not served, however mentioned as a standard daily meal. Location is a little further from the center, but very fast to get by uber. Generally we enjoyed our time staying here.

We had a wonderful stay at Eurostars Aliados in Porto. While advertised as a 5-star hotel, it feels more like a high-end 4-star, mainly because it lacks some of the extra touches of luxury and service you’d expect from a top-tier 5-star experience. That said, it still offers great value for money and an excellent stay. One of the hotel’s strongest points is its location—right in the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Despite being so central, the room was quiet and well-insulated, allowing for a great night’s sleep. Check-in was smooth and efficient, with friendly and professional staff who made us feel welcome right away. Throughout our stay, the staff remained courteous and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience. Our room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, featuring a king-sized bed, elegant decor, and a huge shower that added a touch of indulgence. Everything was spotlessly clean, which is always a priority when choosing a hotel. The hotel has a spa with a gym, sauna, and hammam, free for guests. While we didn’t have time to use them, they looked modern, well-maintained, and inviting, adding to the hotel’s appeal. Overall, Eurostars Aliados delivers a stylish and comfortable stay at a reasonable price. While it may not quite reach the level of a true 5-star experience, it’s an excellent option for those looking for a high-quality hotel in the center of Porto. We would definitely stay here again!

1. **Location**: Excellent location, within walking distance to major tourist attractions and right in front of São Bento Station, making transportation very convenient. 2. **Service**: The staff were very friendly and attentive. They even upgraded my room, which was a nice touch! 3. **Breakfast**: Breakfast starts at 7 AM. There's a good variety of bread, and you can also get various drinks and champagne. Since there aren't many early-opening shops nearby, breakfast here is a must. The breakfast buffet staff were also very friendly. For Koreans, if you request an ice cup, you can make iced Americano. Haha! 4. **Room**: I booked a Gallery Room but was upgraded to a Superior Room. It was spacious enough to fit three carry-on suitcases and two backpacks, and the bed was large enough for three adults to sleep comfortably, even rolling around. 5. **Other advantages**: Excellent water pressure in the bathroom! Housekeeping was incredibly fast, and they replenished one bottle of water daily. The price was also very attractive. 6. **Minor drawbacks**: I was assigned a room on the first floor, but the view was just a wall... I kept the curtains closed for my entire stay. Overall, I was very satisfied, except for the view!

It was an overall great stay. The room was very clean and had enough space for two people, though there was just a slight lack of drawers for clothes. The beds were very comfortable, the bathroom was clean and spacious, and the climate control system was excellent. Breakfast was enjoyable, featuring a buffet with various foods suitable for Europeans, more than enough to energize us before exploring. I missed having a gym or a space to exercise, but since we were exhausted at the end of each day, it wasn't a big issue. Lastly, the location and transportation options were also convenient, with bus and metro lines just a 12-minute walk away. This hotel nearly reaches a 4-star rating—100% recommended for visiting Porto in 2-3 days.

The pros and cons of this hotel are particularly outstanding. The advantage is that the service is very good. I arrived at the hotel at 10 a.m. I wanted to put my luggage away and go out for fun, but I didn't expect that I could check in at that time. The disadvantage is that the castle-renovated hotel is a bit cold. It's more than ten degrees outside, so it's comfortable to turn on the air conditioner in the room.

Hotel located near one of the main metro stations of Porto, where most lines are crossed to go around the city. The area of the night rooms is 10 minutes walking distance, while the main tourist attractions of the historic centre are about 20 minutes walking distance. I was assigned a room at the first floor that gave access to the cover terrace (very badly held) of the ground floor of the hotel, to which the other rooms at the first floor were also accessed. I would have preferred a room at a little higher floor, I didn't feel free to sleep at night with an open balcony. The hotel's entrance is unclear from the street, since there is no sign that signals it but only the name written next to the entrance.

The view was nice and pretty.. I went to Porto more than I thought around Ssangbentu Station, but rather than moving around the East Louis Bridge, there were more things going up there than going around the East Louis Bridge, so if you want to see the view for a while, you should use this hotel. I think other locations would be better.. I asked if I could change it, not the first room I booked, but the first day was late anyway, so I just passed by and said I would change it the next day and I forgot.. The breakfast in the restaurant was pretty good and friendly, and there is nothing to be satisfied with other facilities, but there are many hotels that are half priced at that location, so it seems that it is not worth it.

We booked this hotel which is not close to the city centre to be able to have a pool to relax after a day visiting Porto. Uber was very affordable if you are in a group, if not, there is an easy bus service to reach the city. There are some options for an evening meal+ supermarket in the area but nothing extraordinary. Dinner in the hotel looked good but we didn't have dinner only breakfast which was good. Room was big and nice, common areas were really lovely. Biggest moan/warning/suggestion for improvement would be: the lifts took for ever (15 floors all in all) lots of queues forming. The wet areas could be so much better. The outdoor pool was overcrowded all the time and had very limited loungers that people took/reserved from 9am, so people even had to sit on the floor. With nowhere to put myself, I went to check the indoor pool. A much nicer space but again nowhere to relax, no loungers or chairs.

We had a truly perfect stay at Jam Hotel Porto. From the very beginning everything felt easy and welcoming. It was always clean and perfectly tidy which made it very comfortable to come back to after a day in the city. What made the stay really special was the lovely lady at the reception. She noticed that I was celebrating my birthday during our stay and organized a birthday muffin to be brought up to my room. It was such a kind and personal gesture that I did not expect at all and it honestly made my day. Overall it felt like a place where people really care about their guests, not just in a professional way but in a warm and genuine way. I would happily stay here again without hesitation.

The room is clean, breakfast don’t have much options but is still acceptable, location is a bit far from the city center and the river side but you can go by bus to the center, the station is just in front of the hotel entrance and cost you 2.5 Euro, otherwise you can grab a uber, is also very convenient and more cheaper if you are travelling with 3-4 persons. The only thing that admired me why a lot of people choose this hotel is because they have a very big outdoor parking and is completely free of charge. I was driving a car and in Porto if you want to find a hotel with car parks is a bit difficult, if have, they need to get paid and the public car parks inside the city are extremely expensive. I did some research and this is the only hotel with the biggest car park in the area and completely free of charge, so if you are driving this hotel is the best choice. Also the staff (trainee) who helped me to do the check in is very nice 👍🏻

The hotel's biggest advantage is its location, very close to the metro station. You can take the elevator up to the second floor with your luggage and reach it within a 5-minute walk. It's on a main street, so no need to navigate narrow alleys, making travel very convenient. **A word of caution:** Be wary of small restaurants starting with 'S' nearby. While cheap, the food tends to be overly salty and the ingredients aren't very fresh. You can walk down the slope to the market for food, and you'll also find good Fado shows in the vicinity. The front desk staff are a bit cool. One female staff member was expressionless and didn't respond to greetings. It wasn't exactly bad service, but the experience was just average. English communication was barely passable, and they were quite rigid in their procedures. Early check-in, even with available rooms, incurs a 10-20 Euro charge. I was originally waiting until 4 PM to check in, but was only allowed to enter my room just before 3:30 PM. I specifically requested a quiet room, and was assigned a corner room backing onto a hillside. There was a persistent low-frequency noise throughout the night, and on the second night, frequent banging sounds, which disturbed my rest. The room's drainage was slow, and the hairdryer was faulty, requiring me to request another one from the front desk. The waste separation was difficult to adapt to. The recycling bins were four different colors, there were no garbage bags, and no simple signs to guide the sorting rules. Having been used to leaving garbage outside the door in other countries, I tried to do so here but was stopped by the front desk without any explanation. Overall, the experience was average. I wouldn't highly recommend it if you have other options.

CNGuest UserThe hotel's biggest advantage is its location, very close to the metro station. The staff are incredibly polite, patient, and always ready to help with anything. The rooms are also very clean, and the cleaning staff are friendly and pleasant; they tidy everything up without touching your personal belongings. The building's exterior isn't luxurious or elegant, but I can assure you that hardly matters, as the hallways are beautiful, the elevators work perfectly, and the lobby and lounge area are impeccably maintained. One of the things I loved most was the unlimited beverage refill station at the entrance (apple, pineapple, water, and exotic fruit drinks). I highly recommend this place!

It was very quiet, and I had a great rest. The breakfast was plentiful, and the staff were very enthusiastic. It's not far from the airport, which is very convenient, and getting to the beach and downtown attractions is also super easy.
