I really enjoyed my stay at the Porto Royal Bridges Hotel. The hotel itself is very pleasant. From the lobby entrance to the accomodation including room and bathroom, it was very well maintained, clean, and neat. The staff is very friendly and professional, and I really appreciate their quick communication and helpfulness. Location is a big plus as well. It's situated close to the São Bento train station and within walking distance to the City Hall, Church of Saint Ildefonso, and Clérigos Church. I would highly recommend it for travellers, couples, families, and even business people looking for a modern/chique hotel prioritizing comfort, cleanliness, and accessibility to transportation, shops/eateries, and landmarks.

the hotel is very close to the train station and other sightseeing places. There's a big construction site right in front of the hotel which makes it a bit inconvenient to walk around. The hotel offered us a room which faced the courtyard, so we didn't experience any construction noise. The room was very clean and the beds are comfortable. overall it is positive experience with the hotel

Our experience was entirely positive. The location was perfect for visit being in the heart of Ribeira. The facilities fully met our expectations- with a comfortable room and bed and an excellent shower. The breakfasts were first class with a good range of dishes available. And importantly, the staff were always helpful from check-in through to respinding to the various small requests we had during our 3 night stay.

Very good hotel, but you had to ask for a toothbrush when normally hotels provide them without being asked. Be careful, the hotel records your credit card and will still charge you 3€ without your consent + the tourist tax, while in other 5 star hotels they don't do this.

First of all, we received a very warm welcome. Good thing is the view is stunning at this price. Ok, the bad thing is the wifi is non-existing. Breakfast you might need to queue up for 15-20 mins to be seated, it’s not that the tables are not enough, it’s just the recover is too slow. During the midnight you couldn’t open the windows due to the noise from the car racing in the street almost the whole night. You could walk to the town but not close.

The hotel is in a great location, within easy walking distance of a lot of the areas of interest within Porto. The hotel itself it nicely decorated. The hotel rooms are compact, but the decor adds to the feeling of a boutique hotel. One of the best showers I have had in a hotel, powerful and easy to temperature control. The toiletries used were nice. The beds are comfortable and the sheets are fresh and spotless. Most of the reception staff are efficient and friendly. The rooms are well equipped with good robes/umbrella/good hairdryer/coffee machine and capsules etc There are a few things that the hotel could easily improve : Breakfast is definitely not something I would recommend. The choices were poor, definitely not fresh or local, and the cost is high. There are many much better choices nearby. The pillows were either a hard memory foam slab or a really lumpy soft pillow, surprising for the cost of accommodation. It was very hard to get fresh milk for tea and coffee on arrival, we asked reception and at the bar they could not make one even though we discovered at breakfast that they had a machine and fresh milk and take away cups readily available. The bar needs rethinking….it is the opposite of welcoming and the staff don’t make you want to stay. As there is no ‘lounge’ in the hotel, maybe this would be better utilised as a meeting place within the hotel.

We checked in, there was no wait, and the staff were friendly and knowledgeable. It was a great touch that the staff member offered to show us a map of Porto and the key things he would recommend doing in the city. I can’t stress enough just what an excellent location this hotel is in, no public transport is required. All the key sights are within a short walking distance. It is also very walkable from the train station. The room was great, with adequate lighting, a huge TV and some excellent shower products. The bed was relatively firm and comfortable. We enjoyed breakfast for the 3 nights. There had been a miscommunication about the price of this, however, the hotel manager was very helpful in rectifying this via email communication after the stay. The young female staff member we engaged with for breakfast each morning was also very friendly, warm yet professional. As IHG Platinum members we decided to try this Hilton property and were not disappointed. It was excellent from start to finish and the prompt reply and rectification from the hotel manager is testament to the care, detail and excellent management of this property. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Porto.

I liked the most among European hotels I went to this time on my honeymoon. It's a small but lovely and very pretty hotel. When I was curious, it was said that it was built in 1829, but it is in excellent condition. It was rather antique and very good. When you open the window, the view is so pretty as if it were in a fairy tale. In the plaza in front, they perform performances, and they are gathered right in front of the bar restaurant, so the location is the best. If I go back to Porto, I will definitely stay at this hotel!! (Breakfast is tidy, but there are too few eggplants.)

We had a wonderful stay at Eurostars Aliados in Porto. While advertised as a 5-star hotel, it feels more like a high-end 4-star, mainly because it lacks some of the extra touches of luxury and service you’d expect from a top-tier 5-star experience. That said, it still offers great value for money and an excellent stay. One of the hotel’s strongest points is its location—right in the heart of Porto, making it easy to explore the city on foot. Despite being so central, the room was quiet and well-insulated, allowing for a great night’s sleep. Check-in was smooth and efficient, with friendly and professional staff who made us feel welcome right away. Throughout our stay, the staff remained courteous and helpful, ensuring a pleasant experience. Our room was spacious, stylish, and very comfortable, featuring a king-sized bed, elegant decor, and a huge shower that added a touch of indulgence. Everything was spotlessly clean, which is always a priority when choosing a hotel. The hotel has a spa with a gym, sauna, and hammam, free for guests. While we didn’t have time to use them, they looked modern, well-maintained, and inviting, adding to the hotel’s appeal. Overall, Eurostars Aliados delivers a stylish and comfortable stay at a reasonable price. While it may not quite reach the level of a true 5-star experience, it’s an excellent option for those looking for a high-quality hotel in the center of Porto. We would definitely stay here again!

The view was nice and pretty.. I went to Porto more than I thought around Ssangbentu Station, but rather than moving around the East Louis Bridge, there were more things going up there than going around the East Louis Bridge, so if you want to see the view for a while, you should use this hotel. I think other locations would be better.. I asked if I could change it, not the first room I booked, but the first day was late anyway, so I just passed by and said I would change it the next day and I forgot.. The breakfast in the restaurant was pretty good and friendly, and there is nothing to be satisfied with other facilities, but there are many hotels that are half priced at that location, so it seems that it is not worth it.

1. **Location**: Excellent location, within walking distance to major tourist attractions and right in front of São Bento Station, making transportation very convenient. 2. **Service**: The staff were very friendly and attentive. They even upgraded my room, which was a nice touch! 3. **Breakfast**: Breakfast starts at 7 AM. There's a good variety of bread, and you can also get various drinks and champagne. Since there aren't many early-opening shops nearby, breakfast here is a must. The breakfast buffet staff were also very friendly. For Koreans, if you request an ice cup, you can make iced Americano. Haha! 4. **Room**: I booked a Gallery Room but was upgraded to a Superior Room. It was spacious enough to fit three carry-on suitcases and two backpacks, and the bed was large enough for three adults to sleep comfortably, even rolling around. 5. **Other advantages**: Excellent water pressure in the bathroom! Housekeeping was incredibly fast, and they replenished one bottle of water daily. The price was also very attractive. 6. **Minor drawbacks**: I was assigned a room on the first floor, but the view was just a wall... I kept the curtains closed for my entire stay. Overall, I was very satisfied, except for the view!

Hotel located near one of the main metro stations of Porto, where most lines are crossed to go around the city. The area of the night rooms is 10 minutes walking distance, while the main tourist attractions of the historic centre are about 20 minutes walking distance. I was assigned a room at the first floor that gave access to the cover terrace (very badly held) of the ground floor of the hotel, to which the other rooms at the first floor were also accessed. I would have preferred a room at a little higher floor, I didn't feel free to sleep at night with an open balcony. The hotel's entrance is unclear from the street, since there is no sign that signals it but only the name written next to the entrance.

The location is fantastic, within walking distance to many attractions. Be prepared for a bit of a hike uphill with luggage when you first arrive. The range hood in the room is centrally controlled and ventilates at set times in the evening. Be careful when cooking anything with a strong odor, as it might trigger the fire alarm. If you're staying over the weekend, expect some lively noise from outside until around 11 PM. The in-room facilities are excellent, and the staff's English is superb, able to help with any issues. This is the best accommodation I've stayed in while in Porto.

Location: Advantages, not far from St. Benedict Train Station, about 5.6 hundred meters. The disadvantage is that it's all up the mountain, and dragging luggage is like zipping. Service: I can't say enough good about it. He helped us book tickets to Lello Bookstore and taxis. He also enthusiastically introduced us to various attractions, how to get there by bus and the approximate distance and time. The room is cleaned every 2 days and is very clean. There is a kitchen and various utensils and pots, which finally satisfies the Chinese stomach. The breakfast is boxed and cannot be finished at all. Surrounding environment: Downhill is Battle Square, uphill is Freedom Square, and there are countless supermarkets, shopping malls, and restaurants within 100 meters. Most of the attractions are within an hour's walk (all are mountain roads). The only drawback is that the bathroom has a bit of a smell. I guess this is a common problem in old apartments.

The hotel is conveniently located near Benedict Station, making it easy to get to all the attractions. The hotel itself is beautiful, with classic European decor that I love, and the room even has a small, elegant terrace. We booked this hotel which is not close to the city centre to be able to have a pool to relax after a day visiting Porto. Uber was very affordable if you are in a group, if not, there is an easy bus service to reach the city. There are some options for an evening meal+ supermarket in the area but nothing extraordinary. Dinner in the hotel looked good but we didn't have dinner only breakfast which was good. Room was big and nice, common areas were really lovely. Biggest moan/warning/suggestion for improvement would be: the lifts took for ever (15 floors all in all) lots of queues forming. The wet areas could be so much better. The outdoor pool was overcrowded all the time and had very limited loungers that people took/reserved from 9am, so people even had to sit on the floor. With nowhere to put myself, I went to check the indoor pool. A much nicer space but again nowhere to relax, no loungers or chairs.

We stayed here for 5 nights and they did not change our bedsheet even though it was written that they will change it every 3 days, no refill of water, no refill of tissues and coffee and tea we had to request it. There’s a small cockroach in the bathtub. At the front desk they don’t even greet you whenever you passby I am not being entitled that I should be greeted I just compare it to other hotel where they always smile. It’s hard to call the front desk sometimes it will take 5 minutes.  On the positive side the food in the restaurant was really good and the drinks at the bar those who are working there was really nice and attentive too. My only criticism would be there are illuminated light switches and controls in the room which don’t switch off / darken therefore the room is not completely dark for sleeping which isn’t helpful for a light sleeper like myself.

Good location. near Casa de Musica, shopping arcade, supermarket, food court, bus stops nearby, convenient to take bus to tourist attractions. Metro station is a bit far away from hotel. The room and the bathroom are spacious. Breakfast is ok, less food variety, can be better. Will come again.

The room is clean, breakfast don’t have much options but is still acceptable, location is a bit far from the city center and the river side but you can go by bus to the center, the station is just in front of the hotel entrance and cost you 2.5 Euro, otherwise you can grab a uber, is also very convenient and more cheaper if you are travelling with 3-4 persons. The only thing that admired me why a lot of people choose this hotel is because they have a very big outdoor parking and is completely free of charge. I was driving a car and in Porto if you want to find a hotel with car parks is a bit difficult, if have, they need to get paid and the public car parks inside the city are extremely expensive. I did some research and this is the only hotel with the biggest car park in the area and completely free of charge, so if you are driving this hotel is the best choice. Also the staff (trainee) who helped me to do the check in is very nice 👍🏻

I really loved this hotel. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the front desk service was excellent. They offered luggage storage, complimentary lemonade, and even egg tarts. As for the facilities, the mini-fridge wasn't very effective, but the shower facilities were fantastic. My only complaint is that the location is a bit out of the way; it's a five-minute walk to the bus stop.
