The Hualuxe Xiamen Haicang Seaview truly exceeded my expectations! The egret-shaped architecture is incredibly photogenic, and the front-row sea view is absolutely stunning. I booked a sea-view room, which starts at a spacious 45 sqm, featuring 270° floor-to-ceiling windows directly facing the ocean, Haicang Bridge, and Gulangyu Island. I could watch the sunset from the comfort of my bed. The room boasts an elegant new-Chinese design, complete with a round viewing bathtub and high-quality amenities. Thoughtful touches like a tea set and welcome fruit were provided, and turndown service included local Minnan snacks – the attention to detail was exceptional. Cathy provided warm and attentive service, making the check-in process efficient, and the concierge proactively helped with my luggage. The heated pool on the fourth floor and the 24-hour sea-view gym offer fantastic views. Breakfast was extensive, with a wide variety of local snacks, seafood, and noodle stations. It's a peaceful and healing retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the island, perfect for a vacation or family trip. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xiamen!

Just checked in at the Renaissance Xiamen Hotel, and every staff member I encountered, even the cleaning staff, was incredibly enthusiastic and friendly – really impressed! The front desk staff proactively helped me with my luggage. In the morning, the refined and courteous server Ayla at the breakfast restaurant was a lifesaver, sorting out all sorts of issues related to my child, allowing me to enjoy a delicious and peaceful breakfast. The hotel and its surroundings are truly delightful and refreshing. Highly recommend it!

The property is located near Train Line 1 at Zhenhai Road Station, about a 3–5 minute walk away. Please note there is a steep road with uphill and downhill sections. A 3-minute walk will take you to Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street and Zhonghua City. The Eighth Market (Bashi) is about a 15–20 minute walk from the hotel. Staff and service: The front desk staffs and cleaning aunties are friendly and helpful. However, I noticed that the aunties in the breakfast restaurant tend to chat a lot among themselves and only attend to guests when someone asks for something. I preferred a window room, but just be aware that you can hear the restaurants across the road shouting to attract customers, (p/s: the front desk staff has highlighted it during check-in). When the street is less crowded, you can even hear the ”Alipay payment received” announcement (”Zhifubao daozhang”). The water temperature was not hot enough on my last day stay, not too sure why. Overall is ok.

On the last day of the May Day holiday, I spontaneously booked the Hyatt when looking for a hotel near the airport, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. 1. I chose a bay view room, and the view from the room was excellent, with beautiful night scenery. 2. The hotel's bedding was great; I slept very comfortably, which was a nice surprise. 3. There's a shopping mall right downstairs from the hotel, making dining and shopping very convenient.

We arrived on the island during a torrential downpour and booked a hotel on the spur of the moment. I'd only heard about the unique architecture of the hotel, but after checking in, everything was excellent. The service was especially attentive and responsive. I got caught in the rain on the way in, and the front desk staff provided hot ginger tea. After checking in, I requested afternoon tea, which was also promptly delivered to my room. I'm especially grateful for the laundry service and luggage delivery to the dock, which greatly enhanced my travel experience. The food at the hotel and its own restaurant was also excellent, saving me the trouble of dining out on rainy days. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay.

The environment is very comfortable, the room is spacious enough, and it's quiet at night. I really liked their laundry room; there are many washing machines, which is very handy. The cleaning staff were incredibly friendly, always greeting us proactively and quickly replacing and restocking any items we needed.

Had a super comfortable stay here. It's really close to Xiamen Airport, just about a 12-minute taxi ride, which was incredibly convenient. This is the perfect choice for my trip traveling between the UTMB Xiamen race. It’s only around 10 mins walk away from Fantian Temple where the starting and finish line was. Overall, it's pretty decent. Let's start with the positives: there's a kids' play area, which my child loved. The environment is also quite tranquil, with sea views and a chance to catch the sunrise. As for the downsides, some facilities are a bit old and could use some renovation – don't be so stingy with the budget! The smart light control buttons were sometimes hard to press, and mysteriously, all the lights came on in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. The private hot spring, located on the balcony, is accessed via a communal walkway, which isn't very private. Good for thrill-seekers, I guess!

I saw the photo and felt great. I found that some of the photos were not from this one. They were next door. There were drying racks on the top floor. The room had a bathtub. The hot water was opened and the bath ball was sent, but it was not a hot spring. The windows of the room were very large. It was seen that the cars in the parking lot were all in the parking lot. There is also the master waiting for the guests in the car, and I can see the merchant next door, and the passers-by who have been pulling the curtains all the time, otherwise it is really embarrassing. Afternoon tea, I sent snacks and fruits. There are a lot of water on the first floor to replenish. I went to the first floor too early to put my luggage. When the room was ready, I also helped to climb the stairs to get it up. The bed was quite comfortable, the breakfast was wrong next door, because I thought it was the same family, the result was not, and I came back to eat this one. In terms of finishing, it was a bit disappointing at the price of 700.

I have lived in many homestays and love this one the most. The mountains are indeed a treasure place of Xiamen B&B. Although they are in the village, it is another scenery to enter the scope of the B&B. You can feel it. They really run this homestay with their heart. They feel that they are very kind when they get along. It is like visiting a friend's house here. Knowing that it was a birthday, they also specially helped to arrange the birthday scene, opened the door for a moment, and there were flowers 💐 blessing cards. It was really full of surprises. I was moved by their actions to take pictures and also made special films. The experience was very good. The service can be said to be responsive and warm and thoughtful. I bought the ingredients and made a simple birthday dinner in their kitchen. The bed was also very big and comfortable. The pool was also very good. The bubble private soup was just like the dripping rain. It was very comfortable and relaxing. The privacy was very good. The atmosphere is quite strong. For personal reasons, the fireworks show can be delayed until the next stay. I look forward to seeing you next time. 👋 I have an appointment next time. A homestay with a human touch. The people in the store are warm and hospitable, with a strong sense of service. The decoration is clean and tidy. There are large spaces in front of the door and inside the yard. It was very comfortable to stay in March. The room is relatively comfortable and the space is not crowded. As a homestay, the facilities are quite rich. You can soak in hot springs and saunas in the rooms and the courtyard, as well as a wave swimming pool. It is very advanced equipment! It's a pity that I don't have time to experience it. I'll come back next time. This time, as we arrived early for the competition and were afraid that we wouldn't be able to get a taxi, the boss took the initiative to take all the contestants in need to the venue, solving the problem of morning travel. Having never stayed at a Pan Pacific hotel, I had no idea what to expect, but it really impressed me! The gym definitely stood out, the equipment was so smooth and well-maintained, easily the best hotel gym I’ve used in a while. What really made the difference was the team. Everyone I spoke with was incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the stay feel personal and warm. The team kindly helped, sharing directions and local tips and insights. From travel times to sharing maps, they couldn’t have been kinder in helping. The room was cosy and comfortable and I personally slept really well (better than at home!) the location worked well for me too, I found it calm and well connected. It was an stress-free, enjoyable experience to stay at this Pan Pacific and I plan to stay again. :) Thank you to the Pan Pacific team for going above and beyond to provide the best in service and care. Came to Xiamen with friends for the weekend and after comparing several hotels, we settled on this one near Egret Island. The location is definitely a huge plus – it's just a few steps to get into the park, and strolling along Yuandang Lake in the evening with the breeze blowing is incredibly pleasant, making for some great photo opportunities. The front desk staff, both the guys and girls, were all very friendly. Check-in was quick, and they even pointed us to some delicious local eateries nearby. When we called staff for anything, they responded and handled it promptly. The room was very clean, with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a direct lake view. The soundproofing was decent, so we had a quiet and good night's sleep. All the daily amenities were complete, with no signs of age or damage. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with no disappointments. If you want a lake view, staying here is very convenient. I'll definitely consider this hotel first next time I'm in Xiamen.

Traveling with a child, this hotel exceeded all my expectations! The room was clean and spacious. Our butler, Irene, was incredibly thoughtful, providing us with travel tips and guides. Yulia helped us book activities and, despite a small issue with the kids' class, she actively worked to resolve it and even gifted us a paper-cutting class. The hotel is very close to the beach, making for pleasant strolls by the sea. It's also conveniently located, and the kids absolutely loved it. Next time, I'll definitely try their beach-combing activities. We had a great time!

It felt like a magical escape from the bustling, humid city, into a 'city oasis' nestled in the mountains. The moment I opened the room door after checking in, the fatigue from the journey instantly melted away. Room | A Mountain Holiday Opened by a Courtyard The room felt very spacious, with a layout of about 40 square meters that was just right. What surprised me the most, naturally, was the exquisite private balcony. Le Méridien's room types each offer different views, and I chose the garden view balcony room specifically for a quiet, relaxing stay. After all, in a mountain setting surrounded by dense vegetation, a few insects are perfectly normal, and the garden view neatly sidestepped that issue. Opening the window in the morning, the lush green central courtyard came into view. Instead of the city's hustle and bustle, I heard the crisp, pleasant chirping of morning birds and the sweet, fresh air blowing from the mountains. I couldn't help but close my eyes and take several deep breaths. Returning to the room in the evening, I lay on the balcony chair, clearing my mind, sipping an iced cola while enjoying the mountain breeze—this is exactly what a vacation should be like. The room's hardware can be summed up in two words: solid and reliable. Beyond being clean and tidy, the 'rainforest' shower's stable water pressure and temperature were truly impressive. The hotel also thoughtfully implemented a dry-wet separation in the bathroom, completely eliminating the awkwardness of worrying about splashing the toilet while showering. The experience was very comfortable and smooth. The bedding, as always, maintained Le Méridien's high standards, soft, fluffy, and supportive, allowing me to sleep soundly until I woke up naturally. Environment | French Romance Hidden in the Mountains If the guest room brought surprise, then the entire hotel environment was stunning. Le Méridien Xiamen's location is meticulously chosen, nestled charmingly on the mountainside of Xian'gueshan. The overall architectural style leans towards a resort villa, so secluded and tranquil that it doesn't feel like it's in the bustling downtown area of the island. Compared to many coastal hotels that face the humidity and noise of sea winds, the mountain landscape here truly provides another level of spiritual enjoyment. The hotel's artistic atmosphere, from the corridors to the public spaces, everywhere you can feel the unique imprint of French aesthetics. Whether it's the artistic flair of the chandeliers or the fragrance in the lobby, everything constantly reminds me that I'm staying in a stylish Le Méridien. The dense vegetation surrounding the hotel makes it feel like living in a natural oxygen bar. A morning jog in Xian'gueshan Park, enjoying the pleasure of sweating freely in the mountains, is a unique experience that you can never feel in a hotel gym. Service and Details | Thoughtfulness Hidden in Every Detail The staff, from the front desk to the concierge, maintained a perfectly measured, welcoming smile. During check-in, the front desk lady patiently asked about my preferences. Knowing that I valued privacy and quiet, she specifically helped arrange a room set apart from other guests on the same floor, handling everything gently and efficiently, which was truly heartwarming. The hotel also provides a free shuttle bus service down the mountain, making it convenient to travel to the Seaworld shopping center and Dongdu Ferry Terminal. On weekends and holidays, there's even a free shuttle bus connecting to popular attractions like Zhongshan Road and Baicheng Beach. One evening, a guest was inconsiderately skipping rope upstairs; after calling the front desk, they responded immediately and resolved the issue quickly! Truly commendable! Conclusion On the day of check-out, the morning sun still gently warmed the garden view balcony, as if possessing a magic that made me reluctant to close the door and leave. To be honest, I've stayed in many hotels, but rarely have I felt such a pang of reluctance upon departure as this time. It embodies the entire mountain forest, yet never strays from the human world, truly interpreting the beautiful realm of 'hidden in the bustling city, yet nestled in the mountains.' I've lost count of how many times I've stayed at this hotel; it's always a reliable choice. Since 2019, I must have stayed at least 50 times. While the facilities are showing a little bit of age now (they're still great, thanks to the excellent original design and materials), you can clearly see the effort from all the staff. Their exceptional service more than makes up for any minor wear and tear, truly making it one of the best hotels around. There are three main reasons I'm writing such a detailed review this time: 1. The pool is constantly supervised by staff, genuinely concerned about children's safety. (I'd confidently say no other outdoor pool in Xiamen offers this level of attentiveness.) 2. The dining service is consistently warm and enthusiastic, and the food at the 9th-floor Chinese restaurant is delicious. 3. A special shout-out to the kids' club attendant on the first basement level. They were incredibly friendly; when I asked for a cotton swab, they specifically went to another department to retrieve it and brought it to me. In summary: For a budget of around 1000 RMB in Xiamen, I still highly recommend this hotel. Many five-star hotels today fail to provide truly thoughtful service, but for us, a comfortable and emotionally satisfying experience (which is the most important part) is what we seek in a hotel.

This hotel completely exceeded my expectations for this trip, and we were attended by Manager Evelyn! I often saw her name in reviews, so I was surprised to meet her in person, haha. As soon as I checked in, I was rushing with a lot of luggage, and Evelyn was so gentle and patient throughout. She proactively upgraded us to a room with an amazing view and thoughtfully recommended some niche local eateries and travel tips. She was efficient and friendly, and any issues we had afterward were quickly and properly resolved by her. It happened to rain in Xiamen during our stay, and Evelyn even went out of her way to text us, reminding us to bring an umbrella. I was happy with this hotel from the moment I arrived. The doorman, whose name I didn't catch, proactively opened the car door and helped with my luggage. Seeing I had a child with me, he even took all my bags to the lobby while I checked in. Lin Jiankai at the front desk handled my check-in, patiently answering all my questions. I requested a quiet room and ended up on the top floor. The room was a good distance from the executive lounge, so it was very quiet, yet still conveniently located for easy access to the lounge. My visit to Xiamen for the May Day holiday was primarily due to the hotel's excellent transportation links. It was a 30-minute taxi ride to the Botanical Garden (due to holiday traffic), and less than 10 minutes by taxi to SM and MixC malls. The hotel itself is connected to Panji Center, which offers a variety of dining options and a cinema. As soon as we checked in, we went to Tongren Siji Coconut Chicken, which was only about 50 meters from the front desk – so convenient and delicious! When I got to the room, I initially thought it might not be very bright based on the online photos, but it was actually very well-lit. You could also request staff to open the windows. I didn't take photos when I first entered, and later the room got a bit messy, so I didn't bother. A few details about the room really stood out: a shoe shine kit and cloth, and by the bathtub, there were disposable tub liners, a loofah, and bath salts. These little touches are a huge plus for me, as many hotels only provide these upon request. The next day, the cleaning lady even left a pack of Heart to Heart facial tissues by the sink, which I think speaks to the quality of the hotel's amenities. Again, many five-star hotels have tissues that fall apart easily. Now, for the executive lounge: The afternoon tea offers three types of pastries and fruit. While not extensive in variety, the quality of the pastries is superb and very tasty. As someone with high standards for desserts, I give Panji Hilton's desserts a five-star rating. Happy Hour, starting at 6:00 PM, is even more impressive, with at least seven or eight hot dishes. On the first night, there was black garlic duck soup, and on the second night, morel mushroom chicken soup, along with roasted lamb. The evening desserts were different from the afternoon selection, and again, they were absolutely delicious! Also, there's a lovely staff member in the lounge, Ms. Cao Mengying, who is incredibly professional. Not only did she provide meticulous service in the lounge, but since I was staying on that floor, she would always greet me whenever I left or returned, making me feel truly at home. The hotel's smart features are also up-to-date, with an electric toilet in the room and robots that can deliver meals. Regarding service, I had an unexpected injury at the hotel. Trip.com's customer service followed up promptly and with concern, and the hotel also handled it very efficiently. They even called the next day to check on my wound and left a box of cheese sticks in the fridge for me. For other requests, like mineral water, Kung Fu tea sets, and bed rails, the hotel provided everything I needed. Thumbs up! Due to work, I'll be coming to Xiamen often in the future, and I will definitely choose Panji Hilton again next time!

It exceeded my expectations and changed my perception of 'old' hotels. Lujiang Hotel blends modernity and tradition beautifully. The service was excellent. Every staff member greeted me, proactively opened and held doors when entering and exiting, helped with luggage, and opened car doors, among other things. Every evening, they delivered a healthy soup to my room. When I got blisters, they promptly brought iodine and bandages. The welcome fruit, mini-bar, and complimentary daily afternoon tea were all delightful. The location is superb. Due to the hot weather, I spontaneously changed my itinerary to focus on relaxing at the hotel and exploring local cuisine. Zhongshan Road, with its abundance of delicious food, is right next door – I definitely gained some weight! The view is stunning, with Gulangyu Island directly across. Lying in bed and enjoying the beautiful scenery, I truly wished time would slow down. The facilities are great; toiletries, hairdryers, etc., are all top-tier brands. Next time I visit Xiamen, I will definitely stay here again.

This hotel is incredibly close to the subway station – literally just across the street from Exit 6, maybe 20 meters away. Super convenient! It's right in the city center, so the area around it is really lively. There's even a fast-food place downstairs if you want a quick bite. The lady at the front desk was a little cool; it would be even better if she were friendlier. We got upgraded!
