Overall, I'm extremely satisfied! I stayed here for 3 days during my trip to Xiamen, and they upgraded us to a sea-view room. The hotel isn't located on the island, so transportation isn't the most convenient. However, compared to hotels of similar quality on the island, the price is very advantageous, making the transportation costs worthwhile. The hotel staff are incredibly friendly and warm. Whenever we encountered housekeeping staff in the hallway, they always greeted us proactively. On our departure day, when they learned we were checking out and heading home, they even asked if we needed two bottles of mineral water for the road. On a daily basis, when taking a taxi, staff at the hotel entrance would always help open and close the car doors, and their attitude was excellent. On Mid-Autumn Festival, we returned to our room to find a mooncake, which was a very thoughtful touch! When they found out I wanted to take a bath, they brought me a disposable bathtub liner, and also provided disposable toilet seat covers. In short, it felt like a home away from home – a truly wonderful stay.

Overall, it was a good stay. The facilities are a bit old but well-maintained. The hairdryer isn't a Dyson, so if you need one, you'll have to bring your own. The toilet isn't a smart one. The room lighting was very dim, not bright at all. We were given a corner room, which had a strange layout and made it feel much smaller. If this is a concern, you should mention it during check-in. The welcome snack basket was nice; the kids loved it, and the fruit was fresh. The environment was pleasant and comfortable. The hygiene was good: the pool was clean, and there were no small pebbles outdoors. Staff were regularly cleaning up fallen leaves. The service: Our butler was great. However, other staff members weren't very enthusiastic and seemed unfamiliar with their duties. The restaurant service was very slow. We also tried the buffet, and the lobster serving times kept changing. The food was quite ordinary.

Traveling with my family, I carefully selected this hotel, and our entire stay was absolutely perfect – everyone was very satisfied. I had noted in advance that we were traveling with a child, and upon arrival, the front desk thoughtfully arranged a quieter room for us, paying attention to every detail. The room was spacious and didn't feel cramped, and the floor was clean and non-slip, so I felt at ease letting my child run around and play. The hygiene was impeccable; the bedding was dry and soft, making me feel comfortable with my child playing on the bed. The air conditioning worked very well. The hotel's common areas were clean and tidy, the hallways were quiet, and our rest at night was completely undisturbed by outside noise. The location is uniquely advantageous; the beach is just a short walk away, and there are many dining options nearby. The staff were very patient and answered all our questions thoroughly. We didn't encounter any problems during our stay; the facilities were in perfect condition, making our stay both reassuring and comfortable. This hotel added a lot to a wonderful trip. Next time I bring my family here, I will definitely stay again. Highly recommended for families.

In terms of location, it's perfect for attending concerts or exhibitions, just across the street. Overall, don't think of this as a rigid hotel. Approach it as a designer guesthouse with an open mind, and you'll find many pleasant surprises.

We travelled from Melbourne to walk in the footsteps of my husband's ancestors on Gulangyu for his 50th birthday. Humble Hall made the experience spectacular. It is an oasis of calm, exceptional service. Understated, modest but so generous. We cannot imagine having stayed anywhere else. We traversed around the whole island on foot which was amazing but we dined almost exclusively at HH, there was simply no reason not to just soak HH in for every moment we weren't walking and exploring. It was sublime!

The hotel only provides one room key by default, which is quite inconvenient since you need it to use the elevator. Plus, in the summer, when you take the card with you, the room gets hot when you return. Hope they can improve that!

Our stay at Riyuegu Hot Spring Resort was exceptional from the moment we arrived. As soon as our luggage reached the lobby, a staff member promptly took it to our room. Throughout our stay, whenever we requested extra bottled water, it was delivered immediately, with no waiting time at all. The room was clean and refreshing, and both the bedding and bath amenities were of high quality, making for a very comfortable stay. We even received complimentary warm, delicious sweet soup delivered to our room in the evening, a thoughtful touch that showed great attention to detail. During the day, we visited the hot spring park, which boasts a beautiful environment with various pools nestled amongst lush greenery. The water quality was clean and crystal clear. A special highlight was the sound healing experience with singing bowls in the water. The low-frequency resonance of the bowls, combined with the buoyancy of the hot spring water, transformed me from a state of tension to complete relaxation. Afterwards, I felt as if I had enjoyed a long, peaceful sleep, with a light and refreshed body and mind. This is one of the few places I would gladly bring my family back to. I stayed for an extended period and even asked Ctrip to note with the hotel that I wanted a room close to the elevator. Unfortunately, I still ended up with a room far from the elevator, and since the hotel was fully booked, I couldn't switch. The Shacha noodles for breakfast are the best I've had in Xiamen! I've tried so many places, but only here is the Shacha flavor just right – neither too strong nor too bland. The Napoleon cake is also genuinely delicious; I had two slices every day. The location is truly excellent. It's right next to the 'Coffee Street,' just a 2-minute walk away. Sitting there in the afternoon, sipping coffee and enjoying the lake breeze, was very pleasant.

The internet speed was also very slow, and there was no LAN cable provided. When I asked the front desk for one at night, they said the engineering staff had already left for the day. Overall, the hotel still offers decent value for money.

Before we even checked in, the front desk called to confirm our details. They also noticed our request for children's amenities and had them placed in the room beforehand. When we arrived, a greeter met us at the car to help with our luggage and take it to the front desk. While checking in, my child was crying, and the front desk staff kindly offered a small toy to appease them. After check-in, they guided us and even helped bring our luggage to the room. They have bed rails! It's very child-friendly. The room was spacious, and the facilities weren't outdated. The service was excellent! We stayed for four nights, and since it was Mid-Autumn Festival, they gave us mooncakes and a pudding bunny, and even folded a paper bunny for our child. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to any friends visiting Xiamen. The hotel lobby offers strollers, and there's also a free children's play area!

I spent the whole day at the hotel, enjoying the quiet and beautiful atmosphere. However, it's not always easy to find peace and quiet at Haiyue Villa, haha, because it's full of families with kids. You'll find children of all ages, from babies in arms to preschoolers in strollers and elementary school kids running around. Teenagers might find it a bit boring. When I was planning, I debated for a long time because some reviews mentioned it was an older hotel, about ten years old. But honestly, I found it perfectly acceptable. The overall decor isn't super luxurious; the sofa and carpet patterns might be a bit old-fashioned, and it's not very high-tech, but the overall comfort was good, and my daughter loved it here. The hotel is right next to Huangcuo Beach, just across the road. As soon as you enter the grounds, you feel instantly relaxed – full vacation mode! It's a huge property, lush with green trees, like a whole resort area itself. It's divided into the Main Building, Water Garden, and Mountain Villa, with prices increasing accordingly. We booked a Deluxe Sea View room on the 4th floor and got a free upgrade on arrival to a Nalong (Milk Dragon) themed full sea view room on the 5th floor. The view was even more expansive, overlooking the pool, green trees, the ocean, and ships – absolutely beautiful, comparable to Sanya. The room was spacious, 46 square meters, with a round bathtub on the balcony where you could soak while enjoying the sea view. That experience was absolutely amazing. The Nalong theme was everywhere! There were Nalong duvet covers, two adorable Nalong plushies and throw pillows on the bed, a Nalong mat on the floor, and Nalong murals on the walls. Most importantly, there was a sizable Nalong tent, which kids would surely love. I have to rave about the swimming pools. In the main building area, we visited the outdoor infinity pool and several other pools downstairs from the guest rooms. Not only were the pool views stunning, but they were also quite clean, and there were plenty of lifeguards. Swim rings and kickboards were provided free of charge, and there were also some paid activities to choose from. Through the pool area, there's a small gate that you can open with your room card. After walking through an underpass, you arrive at Huangcuo Beach. Swimming doesn't seem to be allowed, but everyone was wading and playing in the water. Even though it's a public beach, it wasn't crowded. The sand was quite fine, and the waves weren't too big, though there were occasional bits of floating trash. The breakfast buffet was good, but it was incredibly crowded and noisy. If you went later, you'd have to queue. They offered a variety of Southern Fujian (Minan) snacks, and the Satay noodles, Mianxian paste, Guo Bian Hu (pot-side paste), and Peanut Soup were all delicious 😋 The fried dough sticks, pudding, and oatmeal bowls were also very tasty 😋 Oh, by the way, our butler, Xiao Bin, provided excellent service! He helped me book dinner reservations and even arranged a two-hour late check-out! Highly recommended!

Our butler, Yulia, contacted us in advance to arrange the room for our arrival. The kids' club has a rich variety of activities, and the children loved the swimming pool. The most convenient part is its proximity to the beach, allowing us to take the kids digging for sand anytime. Yunia, a guest service agent in the lobby, directed us to the closest route to the beach, which was very helpful.

What surprised me the most, naturally, was the exquisite private balcony. Le Méridien's room types each offer different views, and I chose the garden view balcony room specifically for a quiet, relaxing stay. After all, in a mountain setting surrounded by dense vegetation, a few insects are perfectly normal, and the garden view neatly sidestepped that issue. Opening the window in the morning, the lush green central courtyard came into view. Instead of the city's hustle and bustle, I heard the crisp, pleasant chirping of morning birds and the sweet, fresh air blowing from the mountains. I couldn't help but close my eyes and take several deep breaths. Returning to the room in the evening, I lay on the balcony chair, clearing my mind, sipping an iced cola while enjoying the mountain breeze—this is exactly what a vacation should be like. Whether it's the artistic flair of the chandeliers or the fragrance in the lobby, everything constantly reminds me that I'm staying in a stylish Le Méridien. The dense vegetation surrounding the hotel makes it feel like living in a natural oxygen bar. A morning jog in Xian'gueshan Park, enjoying the pleasure of sweating freely in the mountains, is a unique experience that you can never feel in a hotel gym. I'm reviewing this after getting back from overseas. If you need a hotel near the airport, this is absolutely the best choice. For an early flight requiring me to be there by 6 AM, the hotel informed me there's a shuttle bus at 5:50 AM. The room was clean, tidy, and very spacious. I've stayed in many airport hotels worldwide, and this one is definitely among the top. I forgot to take photos, so I'll just end this review with a picture of me wearing the hotel slippers on the plane. I would definitely choose this hotel again if I have another early flight. Excellent, I was extremely satisfied! I stayed for several days and had conversations with almost all the front desk ladies. They were all incredibly lovely, responsible, and spoke softly and sweetly – so endearing and gentle. On the night I checked in, they even gave me little cookies which were absolutely delicious! A wonderful stay with exceptional service We had a very enjoyable stay at Crowne Plaza Xiamen Jimei Seaview. The hotel is modern, beautifully designed and very comfortable, with lovely sea views and excellent facilities. Our room was fantastic, and we were very grateful for the generous upgrade. The hotel also prepared a lovely anniversary surprise for us, which was a genuinely thoughtful touch. We particularly enjoyed the evening turndown service, something we do not encounter very often and which added a nice five-star touch to the stay. The dinner buffet was another highlight. We were impressed by both the quality and variety of the food. The 22nd-floor Executive Lounge also deserves a special mention. It is a beautiful space with wonderful views and a very relaxing atmosphere. We took quite a few photos because we enjoyed the setting so much, and it is definitely somewhere we would recommend other guests experience. Most importantly, we would like to specifically recognise Merry. She was exceptional throughout our stay — warm, professional, patient and genuinely attentive. From helping with our room arrangements to checking on us throughout the stay, we always felt that she sincerely cared about our experience. Service like this makes a significant difference and is one of the main things we will remember about this hotel. The only area that fell short for us was the Level 5 swimming pool and health club. During our stay, the pool was extremely crowded due to external swimming activities, which unfortunately made it difficult for us to use. This was particularly disappointing as the swimming pool, gym and sauna were among the reasons we specifically chose this hotel for a stay during several rainy days. However, after we shared our experience with the hotel, our feedback was received with genuine concern and handled extremely professionally. We appreciated that very much and hope management can improve this aspect, because the quality of the leisure facilities should match the otherwise excellent standard of the hotel. Overall, despite this one area for improvement, we leave with very positive memories of our stay. The modern rooms, sea views, excellent food, beautiful Executive Lounge and, above all, the outstanding hospitality we received made this a hotel we would happily consider returning to. The hotel only has ground-level parking, and there are golf carts to take you from the main building to the other buildings. Our room was upgraded to the Haiyu Building. The functional layout is quite reasonable; although there's no bathtub, there's a coffee table and a round table, both very convenient to use. We also received complimentary welcome fruits and YUWEI snacks upon arrival. The next day, we visited the small park in Xinyue Garden and walked around the whole area. It's also a good place for a run, with a slight incline. We asked the front desk for swan feeding props, which the kids loved. I have to praise the peanut soup at breakfast—it was absolutely delicious!

This was my first time staying here as a tourist, and the experience was excellent! I also recommended this hotel to a colleague in Hangzhou, and her experience was also very positive, surpassing many resort hotels outside the island. I always tell my Hangzhou colleagues that if you come to Xiamen, you must stay in the old downtown area on the island! That's the real Xiamen. The hotel's decor and facilities are still very new, the space is large, and the service is exceptionally good. My husband thought the staff at this hotel were like flight attendants, very friendly and comfortable. It's convenient to go anywhere, and there are more good restaurants nearby. Next time I'm in Xiamen, I will definitely choose the Golden Egret Hotel again, as long as the price doesn't increase too much. The price increase during the National Day holiday was very reasonable!

The room is well done, clean and refreshing, the home appliances are complete, washing machines, refrigerators, smart toilets are all available, and there is a large sofa, which is full of home. The bus station downstairs is very close, convenient to travel, and the ground and basement parking lots can be used. The corridor environment is quiet and tidy, and there will be no noise. I stayed for an extended period and even asked Ctrip to note with the hotel that I wanted a room close to the elevator. Unfortunately, I still ended up with a room far from the elevator, and since the hotel was fully booked, I couldn't switch. The Shacha noodles for breakfast are the best I've had in Xiamen! I've tried so many places, but only here is the Shacha flavor just right – neither too strong nor too bland. The Napoleon cake is also genuinely delicious; I had two slices every day. The location is truly excellent. It's right next to the 'Coffee Street,' just a 2-minute walk away. Sitting there in the afternoon, sipping coffee and enjoying the lake breeze, was very pleasant.

When we arrived, a greeter met us at the car to help with our luggage and take it to the front desk. While checking in, my child was crying, and the front desk staff kindly offered a small toy to appease them. After check-in, they guided us and even helped bring our luggage to the room. They have bed rails! It's very child-friendly. The room was spacious, and the facilities weren't outdated. The service was excellent! We stayed for four nights, and since it was Mid-Autumn Festival, they gave us mooncakes and a pudding bunny, and even folded a paper bunny for our child. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to any friends visiting Xiamen. The hotel lobby offers strollers, and there's also a free children's play area!

The service at this hotel was truly exceptional, and we were very satisfied! We arrived much earlier than the check-in time and were worried we wouldn't be able to get into our room right away. However, the hotel had a vacant room, and they very considerately allowed us to check in early without any extra charge, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room was well-equipped with amenities; slippers and toothbrushes were provided, and there were several towels. Although a few of the towels were a bit worn, the overall cleanliness was good, so it was probably just an oversight on their part. The bed was very soft, and the comforter and pillows were very comfortable, making for a truly restful sleep. There were three of us – my friend with her son, and myself. The hotel thoughtfully arranged a room with a larger bed for my friend and her son, and a smaller bed for me, which was very considerate. Initially, we accidentally booked a room without a window. When we went to the front desk, the staff informed us that we could cancel the windowless room for free and helped us rebook a nice room with a window. We are truly grateful for their assistance. We didn't book breakfast because we are foreigners, and the breakfast here is very Chinese in style. The hotel even offered to let us check out the breakfast options beforehand. Unfortunately, the taste wasn't really to our liking, so we ultimately decided against it. Wi-Fi was available in the room. When we checked out, we were also able to store our luggage at the hotel, which was very convenient. Overall, the service was excellent, and everything was great. The hotel isn't brand new, but it's generally quite clean. During our stay, housekeeping came to clean the room, replaced all the slippers with new ones, provided new toothbrushes, and even mopped the floor. We all really liked this hotel, especially the service. The staff were very polite and patient with foreign guests, always trying their best to help us. Their attitude was very gentle and friendly, and they often proactively asked if we needed any assistance. We highly recommend this hotel!

We arrived much earlier than the check-in time and were worried we wouldn't be able to get into our room right away. However, the hotel had a vacant room, and they very considerately allowed us to check in early without any extra charge, which was incredibly thoughtful. The room was well-equipped with amenities; slippers and toothbrushes were provided, and there were several towels. Although a few of the towels were a bit worn, the overall cleanliness was good, so it was probably just an oversight on their part. The bed was very soft, and the comforter and pillows were very comfortable, making for a truly restful sleep. There were three of us – my friend with her son, and myself.
