Departing from Catania Airport, this airport hotel is just a 4-minute drive away. The room was quite spacious, but the facilities were very outdated. Since we arrived on a late flight and were taking a bus from near the airport to Palermo the next day, it was the perfect choice. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport, and the shuttle bus clearly has the hotel's logo on it. (There was some miscommunication between the hotel and Trip.com regarding the late-night airport pickup, which led to ineffective communication. We eventually figured it out by using common sense and spotting the vehicle's logo at the airport drop-off point for departures, though it caused quite a delay before we successfully got on board.) On a positive note, the hotel also provides free luggage storage, which was a nice touch!

The whole hotel has a good smell of aroma, simple but not simple, the bed is very comfortable, sleepless every day. The staff were friendly, and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious. However, be aware that the building has no elevator, and the metal gate is especially noisy at night and in the early morning. The room I was assigned was right next to a metal gate... The windows and terrace only offered views of the inner courtyard, with no other scenery to speak of. Staying for just one night is fine. The location is indeed very convenient, right on the main street and near attractions, with supermarkets and restaurants nearby.

The room isn’t huge but it makes do. But I cannot understand why there’s never a plug beside the bed. People need to charge their phones. The bathroom is ok but there is nothing to place the toiletries in the shower, so you’re forced to either bend over in a very small space either open the shower multiple times and make a mess. The main issue is the breakfast. It’s the land of desolation and it’s really a pity. The croissants and the brioches are good, but regardless of the time of your arrival it’s never refurnished. No marmalades, 3 butters, 2 Nutellas, only one typeof cereal, no milk. Everything is missing, it seems raided. Why pay for an hotel breakfast if there’s less food that at home or any café? It could happen once, not constantly.

It is recommended not to come to this city, the streets are dirty and the hotel rooms are the only clean places in the city. The room was very big and it was the only 4-star hotel I stayed in Italy that provided disposable slippers, and they were of very good quality. I stayed in 16 4-star hotels in Italy in one month. The heating was just not enough, it was only 11 degrees at night in early April. Not much choice for breakfast but the coffee was good. Eating out is pretty cheap anyway. I will never come back to this city but this hotel is a haven

The location is also a major plus. Perfect location — everything is within walking distance. The room was clean and, very importantly, completely quiet — no noise from outside or other guests. The air conditioning did make a bit of noise, but this stopped once it was turned off. At night, it wasn’t needed anyway, thanks to the good isolation. The staff were also friendly and welcoming. I stayed in a double room for one person, haha. They don't have single rooms, but the price was still very reasonable. Compared to other hotels I've stayed in in Sicily, this B&B is quite spacious, and the room smells quite nice, apparently with some aromatherapy. Overall, I could tell the owner takes great care of it, and their mattress was the most comfortable I've had on my Sicilian trip. The location is relatively close to the city center, about a 5-minute walk to various attractions. The area is quiet at night, and the other guests I met weren't noisy at night. I also met other residents in the same building, and they were very friendly. There are restaurants with high Google Maps ratings and delicious gelato within a 5-minute walk. The owner was very warm and friendly. Upon check-in, he gave me a brief guide to the attractions and a tour of the room. I bought a baking box nearby and was worried it might get spoiled in the summer, so I contacted the owner via WhatsApp if he could borrow their refrigerator. He readily agreed and even let me keep the box in the refrigerator after I checked out. The breakfast was very homely. Although it was the simplest breakfast on this trip, I could tell the owner had put in a lot of effort.

Set in a historic building in the centre of Catania, this B&B stands out for its traditional style and the quality of its service. Despite the lively atmosphere of the neighbourhood, the rooms are quiet, full of light and – hey! – the ceilings are frescoed! The owner is always available via WhatsApp: he brings breakfast to your room at the agreed time and was very helpful in letting us leave our luggage in storage early in the morning and check-in, even though the room wasn’t ready yet, so to let us enjoy the city.

It is a seamless experience, highly professional, but yet still friendly and warm and kind. The room is spotless and every last detail thought of. I cannot recommend this property more highly. Quite a nice budget place to stay in Katania. I liked everything, this renovated old building, is 10 minutes walk from Duomo Square, 20 minutes from the railway station. There are many interesting locations nearby: churches, museums, amphitheater. Since the building is old, there is no elevator here, and there is no better sound insulation, take into account if it is important to you. Staff is beautiful, very friendly. The room is served with breakfast, the cruisans bake the workers themselves in the morning. I think this is a great price/quality ratio! If any questions arise, the staff are quick to answer whatsapp.

Since we arrived on a late flight and were taking a bus from near the airport to Palermo the next day, it was the perfect choice. The hotel offers a free shuttle to the airport, and the shuttle bus clearly has the hotel's logo on it. (There was some miscommunication between the hotel and Trip.com regarding the late-night airport pickup, which led to ineffective communication. Gave me a large triple room. The wireless network is unstable. The traffic is very convenient. The airport alibus is directly to the door. 4 Euros. Downstairs is the market. The bars and restaurants are very good.

The hotel is in a good location and is on the third floor of the building. It has an elevator. You can be difficult to find the hotel, the main entrance on the street can be made more visible. The hotel official Alfio offers all kinds of help to the guests, and I thank him very much, but the greatest shortage of the hotel is that each room has a separate bathroom and toilet, but it is the most difficult to reach it through the common corridor. It is not good to get out of the room for a time of night for a toilet. I'll look at other alternatives if I come to Catania again.

The breakfast and view was very nice, appreciated the Gym, but it closed too early for evening use. The site is quite large and feels a bit like a maze to navigate to the breakfast area. Service was very good, but parking is pay per night. You can park at back of the hotel for free on the road...Rooms seem a little outdated, at least the one I was in, but overall really good.
