The Hotel-staff was excellent and very helpful. We will give a special appreciation to Giuseppe for extra good service. We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. It has a few good places to eat and drink near by, a shopping mall close by. It’s close to the sea and the lava-‘beaches’ and walking distance to the town center (30-50 minutes), but busses are useful for faster transport (we assume:-)) Ok Italian breakfast. On the downside it’s close to a busy road, but even with our room facing towards it, we didn’t have any big issues. The A/C makes a bit of noise, but it was possible to turn off.
We didn’t have a car but the hotel has parking available inside a fenced area.
The room was spacious and with bathtub, fridge and a small safe.
We enjoyed our stay.

Hotel required a Deep clean as passage carpets are stained, floor 2 at least where we stayed. This hotel appears to be catered more as a business hotel and not holiday makers. Ever morning breakfast food is limited as business meetings eat most of the continental food. A taxi ride to Catania is €20 buses are horrendous and never on time if at all. No beach in front of hotel only a man made scaffolding lido that was washed away in the storms leaving lava rocks. In our opinion we would not not the best place for a relaxing break plus the pool closes Oct 1 even though temperatures still 28.

location nice in front of the sea, but we didn't go to the beach as there is no access... you have to walk 15 min. breakfast acceptable, buffet not super full. pool closed at 6.00 pm ((in August)). about the room: old fashion, but ok. the first night we didn't sleep at all... AC too loud very loud, like you have a truck in the room all night. we asked to change the room, as we thought there was a problem in there. receptionist found another one, but same result. counted no. of plugs... we couldn't charge our phones at once. check out at 11 am as usual, but al 9.00 someone knocked to check the mini bar.

- Breakfast for Italy was oookay - Far away from the center, a city bus comes once in hour, which in terms of Sicily - never. But okay. - The hotel is on the sea side, but it does not have a beach [one should use a public beach 10-15 minutes away] - In my room, in the bathroom every morning I had water coming from the ceiling from the higher floor. Told at reception. They did not solve it for a few days before i left. - air conditioning was super noisy I had to stop it before going sleep - the swimming pool was open from 9-19hh, thus leaving for a work duty around 8 and coming back around 7,the pool was not useful for me - The hotel is used to rent its own restaurant next to the pool to different events, so, especially on weekends there is loud music until super late. The reception was not able to stop the music then I asked around 1 am.... this is strange - they let some external people to party loudly till late at the expense of their guests

Surprisingly good breakfast buffet. Good quality bread, good ham, even decaf tea and assortment of vegetable milks. To top it off, different cakes to choose from. Very nice staff. Far above normal 4 star hotel standards. Congratulations!
