I have to say, at least I feel the hotel is ******.
1. We disembarked from the cruise ship at 7:30 AM and checked in that day, then went out to explore. We returned to the hotel at 2:30 PM and I wanted to ask if we could check in half an hour early, but was told that due to a late check-out by the previous guests, we might not even be able to check in by 3 PM. I immediately expressed my unacceptance, stating that the official check-in time was 3 PM and I needed my room then. During this time, one white guest after another received their room cards from the front desk staff, who even offered them tea and water. I waited until the very last minute for a manager to come out, express a small apology, offer me water, and give my child a drawing kit to pacify us. Then, at 3:05 PM, when we finally got to the room, it still hadn't been fully cleaned... The funniest part was finding an empty chocolate box, as if inviting me to eat it...
2. Because we checked in in a hurry, I wasn't told our room number, and I don't usually check the room number when leaving, especially since it wasn't on the room card. At 9:40 PM, I returned to the front desk, gave them the room card, and asked for our room number. They took a long time to look it up, and when we got to the room, the card wouldn't open the door. I went back to the front desk, and they actually suggested that I might have demagnetized the card by placing it with my phone? This is the first time I've seen a hotel blame the guest first when there's an issue... I had another room card that I hadn't taken out with me, and when I tried it later, it also didn't open the door, further proving it wasn't my fault.
Due to several incidents, I complained to the hotel that night. After the complaint, the hotel did offer some compensation to make up for our experience, which at least made us feel a bit better emotionally, but the flaws in service remain unaddressed.
Objectively, the hotel is beautiful, and the food at the restaurant is delicious. All the other service staff we encountered, apart from the front desk, were very good! However, my overall impression of the hotel is that it's overly fawning towards white guests. For someone like me, who has certain expectations for the emotional value of hotel service, Raffles would not be a good choice. But if you want to experience the hotel's unique history and style, it's definitely worth a try.
P.S. If you're staying with children and also encounter guests smoking in the hallway, that really makes for a very poor experience, which we also unfortunately did.

📍Raffles Hotel Singapore🇸🇬
˜☺˜ Named after Singapore's founder, Sir Stamford Raffles, this hotel has stood for 140 years. The original clock from its inception still graces a corner of the lobby, and the doormen are still Sikh guards from India. The building itself is a work of art. The moment you step inside, Singapore's heat instantly vanishes. Listening to the swaying fans, you finally arrive in the endless summer of Nanyang~ 🪭
✈️ After a 6-hour flight, we kicked off our Singapore trip at this legendary century-old hotel. In the evening, we headed to the Long Bar for a hand-shaken Singapore Sling. So many people visit for this, it's truly become a cultural icon of Singapore 🥂.
🍒🍋🟩🍍 The drink has a sweet and sour fruity taste, with gin as its base, complemented by cherry brandy, grenadine, pineapple, and lemon… It's a well-balanced flavor, and you get to soak in the atmosphere of Raffles' headquarters. Whether it was the great company or just a truly delicious drink, that evening, with the swaying fans, a slight buzz, and peanut shells scattered all over the floor 🥜, we officially began our chill Nanyang 🏝️ holiday 🔛!

Our stay at Raffles Sentosa was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome, setting the tone for what became an unforgettable weekend celebrating my wife’s birthday.
We were incredibly grateful to be upgraded to the Signature Suite for the occasion. The villa was absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, luxurious, and incredibly private. Combined with perfect weather throughout our stay, it made for an idyllic and relaxing escape.
Breakfast each morning was far more than just a meal. It was an experience. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the outstanding service made us look forward to it every day. A very special thank you to Fernando, who looked after us so warmly on both mornings. He always made sure our glasses were full, took the time to chat with us, and truly made breakfast feel personal and memorable.
One of the highlights of our stay was when the entire breakfast team surprised my wife by singing “Happy Birthday.” It was such a thoughtful gesture that made her day even more special. Every member of staff we encountered also wished her a happy birthday, making her feel celebrated throughout the entire resort. It was these genuine, heartfelt touches that transformed a wonderful stay into one we will cherish forever.
The housekeeping team also deserves special recognition. They were absolutely adorable, attentive, and always greeted us with the warmest smiles. No request was ever too much trouble, and they consistently went above and beyond to ensure our villa was perfect.
To everyone at Raffles Sentosa, thank you for creating such a magical birthday weekend. Your warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly special from beginning to end. We will most definitely be returning and cannot wait to experience your wonderful hospitality again. Thank you once again to the entire team!

We had a 4 day 3 nights stay at Raffles Sentosa. The check in took an hour as there were some comms breakdown between Trip.com and hotel and our booking wasn't found. Eventually, the hotel checked us in at around 5pm after we spoke to the manager.
The hotel's infra was genuinely impressive and nice but there is a major flaw in the villa pool. The water in the pool looks like drain water, esp after raining. Even though the hotel claims that the PH level was safe for swimming, it looks really unappealing. Definitely not something a 5-star luxury hotel should offer its guests. After we raised the issue of pool water safety, we were promptly moved to another villa for our last night where the pool water was what it should have been, and offer some in-room dining voucher, which was a nice gesture.
Breakfast at the empire grill was great, and different from your usual bf buffet. Some service crew were also very friendly but others looked a little aloof.
The hotel is still young, and in the process of still figuring the operarations, staff training and optimal infrastructure. Overall, if not for the underwhelming check-in experience, the murkey water in our first villa, I'd have rated the experience a lot higher. Raffles Sentosa has huge potential but it needs to work on its kinks.

Equarius Villas, a premium villa type within Equarius Hotel, is located right below the main hotel building on Sentosa Island, part of Resorts World Sentosa. I stayed here for five days during the first leg of my Singapore trip, and although it was pricey, it was absolutely worth it. The minibar offers unlimited drinks, replenished as soon as anything runs out. Given the cost of living in Singapore, this alone saved us hundreds on water bills. Every evening, there were also complimentary snacks – I enjoyed Guilinggao (herbal jelly), chocolates, nut assortments, and cookies, all local well-known brands that make great souvenirs. The rooms are incredibly spacious, split over two levels. Upstairs, the balcony features an outdoor pool, a sofa bed, and a private bathroom. Downstairs, there's a king-sized bed, a hidden bathtub, and a massive underwater window where you can see the fish from the adjacent aquarium – it's truly magical. The room type includes butler service, available on WeChat for any request. Electric buggies transport you anywhere you want to go, such as the lobby, bus stops, or shopping malls, and they even help plan your itinerary. All the staff speak Chinese; I met fellow countrymen from Hunan and Sichuan, as well as ********* compatriots, Malaysian Chinese (like Berry Tan), and even a chubby young man who looked like he was from India or Pakistan. They were all very friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. I want to express my gratitude again to all the butler friends who served me! For breakfast, there are two options. One is at a semi-buffet located opposite the hotel lobby, offering local breakfast items, masala, healthy options, European fare, and an eat-all-you-can selection of bread, fruits, and salads. The advantages are a superb environment, fewer people, and peace and quiet. The drawback is a relatively smaller variety compared to a full buffet. The other option is a full buffet at the Festive Hotel. The advantage is the wide variety, but it comes with many downsides. All guests from Sentosa hotels dine at this one full-buffet restaurant, leading to huge queues, so you have to go early. Overall, while the hotel is expensive, the ambiance, food quality, sea views, butler service, minibar, electric buggy service, and other amenities completely justify the price. If I come back to Singapore, I'll definitely stay here again. Oh, and most importantly, being on Sentosa Island means everything is at your fingertips – VivoCity, various attractions. So, if you're traveling with kids and plan to visit Universal Studios, the S.E.A. Aquarium, do some shopping, or explore Harry Potter-themed areas, staying on the island is a must.

Revisiting this hotel after eight years, my heart is filled with emotion. Eight years ago, I stayed in the Ocean Suite with my young daughter. The novel and dreamlike experience is still vivid in my memory, becoming a cherished part of her childhood.
Time has flown by, and now I'm back, this time with my young son, staying in the same underwater room to relive those beautiful memories. The room offers an incredible view, with a huge window directly overlooking the underwater world. You can immerse yourself in a magical underwater realm without even leaving the room. All sorts of colorful tropical fish swim freely, looking lively and adorable. Occasionally, sea turtles and manta rays gracefully glide by. Schools of fish constantly move back and forth, and there's even the rare hammerhead shark – truly an immersive experience!

We are semi retiring couple. The landscape is scenic, wonderful for relaxation. Peacock is a highlight for young children. Staff from lobby to restaurant are friendly and helpful with directions and recommendations. They introduced the facilities very well. We enjoy the tranquil atmosphere most and we will definitely be back with our grandchildren.

We had a wonderful stay at Marina Bay Sands! The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were comfortable, and the service was excellent.
A special thank you to Mr. Simon from the Front Desk for the smooth check-in and warm welcome, and to Ms. Trish from Guest Relations for her kindness and outstanding service. They made our stay even more memorable, especially as we celebrated our grandmother’s 89th birthday.
We truly enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back!

Complete facilities with room wine, complimentary chocolates, a dyson hairdryer, nail clipper kit and more. Location is also of course very strategic with the downtown and circle line mrt connecting to the hotel. Near the hotel is lau pa sat which is a very popular hawker center for tourists and also very close to places such as esplanade theatres by the bay, city hall, bras basah and raffles place.

Service: I must give a huge shoutout to Prince at the front desk for his exceptional service during check-in! From the moment we walked in, we felt a warm and attentive welcome. The check-in process was smooth and efficient. He patiently answered all our questions about local attractions and dining spots and even thoughtfully upgraded our room. His constant smile, enthusiasm, and sincerity made us feel the warmth and friendliness of the Singaporean people. Of course, the enthusiastic service from other hotel staff during our stay also made our trip to Singapore perfect. This is truly what a good hotel should be like! 👍
Cleanliness: Very clean, and all facilities are brand new.
Environment: It's incredibly convenient for dining, and Universal Studios is practically right downstairs, making the hotel's location superb.

This was the best hotel I stayed in during my 8-day family trip. It was a suite, and overall, my two kids and I were very comfortable. The room facilities and bathtub were excellent. We ordered dinner from room service, and the food trolley was beautifully set up. The lady who served us shared a lot of interesting place names and food recommendations in Singapore, and we had a great chat. I didn't see any peacocks in the garden like in some other reviews, so maybe they were from somewhere else and just wandered into the area.
