The design of the hotel is very strong, the road is extremely difficult, and all the big attractions are abandoned for this hotel. This hotel is suitable for the deep tour of the hotel, and will not let you down! You must live once in your lifetime! Basically foreigners! Anyone will come across very kind greetings! The most beautiful scenery is often on the toughest road!

A person spent nine days in Sri Lanka and lived in 8 hotels. This room is the most satisfactory. There is an elevator, one room and one living room. The space is very large. There are air conditioners, hot water, fans, and two windows. The clothes are dried through the window, but the windows cannot be opened and there are monkeys. The boss is very enthusiastic, with the selection of the room, also told me that the road here is noisy, here by the sun, the check-in and check-out are helpful to move, the service is not worse than the domestic four- and five-star hotel. The hotel is very close to Kandy Lake. Go out and turn left. The next slope will go to Kandy Lake. You can see Kandy Lake in the window of the room. The window is very soft. The whole person is sunken and sleeps. Very comfortable, this hotel can also swipe, breakfast plus extra money, but very rich, wake up, Lanca hotels are covered with a sheet, it is best to bring a thick shawl or blanket.

The appearance is inconspicuous, but it is very comfortable to walk in and live. The price/performance ratio in Kandy should be very high. The family room is particularly large, with two bathrooms. Very clean. The amount of breakfast is very good. One person can eat very much. The location is also very good, very close to Kandy Lake and Buddha Tooth Relic Temple, and you can walk. Go up 100 meters and there are Chinese restaurants to eat. There are many little monkeys out the window, very cute and rare experience.

Like the hotel, not big, quiet. It is situated on a hillside overlooking the city. The environment is beautiful, the old trees in the backyard are towering, the interior facilities of the rooms are perfect and new, and the location is remote, the paradise

Very beautiful hotel, the British style is very strong, and the refreshments are very good. The platform is far away and the view is beautiful. Quiet to make people meditate to sleep.

Reviews From Real Travelers
The Good
The standout feature of The Coffee Bungalow is undoubtedly its staff, particularly Adrian, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was enjoyable. Everyone we encountered was attentive and genuinely warm, making us feel well cared for. The food was another highlight—delicious and thoughtfully prepared. A particularly nice touch was when they packed us a complimentary to-go lunch for our train journey out of Kandy, which was a pleasant and unexpected gesture.
The Bad
The lack of air conditioning was a notable downside, especially given Kandy’s humidity. While the property has a charming colonial feel, the absence of a solid door between the bedroom and bathroom was an odd design choice. Although the toilet and shower do have louvered doors, privacy is somewhat compromised. Another issue was the challenging entry system—we found ourselves locked out one night, which was frustrating and inconvenient.
The Ugly
Unfortunately, the biggest drawback was the ant problem. While some level of bugs is to be expected in a tropical setting, the sheer number of ants, particularly in the bathroom but also in the bedroom, was hard to ignore. It definitely impacted our overall comfort.
Overall, The Coffee Bungalow has a lot of charm and some truly wonderful hospitality, but there are a few quirks and inconveniences that might not suit every traveler. If you’re prepared for a bit of rustic charm and can handle the lack of AC and privacy, the warm service and great food may make up for the downsides.

The whole family traveled and booked a suite. The room was large and clean. The first alcohol and drinks in the minibar were free. Thumbs up. The hotel has a super beautiful view. It is a little far from the center of Kandy, but it is very quiet. The lobby is beautiful outside. The swimming pool is not heated and a little cold. Breakfast is a la carte system with many choices. But there are some places that must be complained. First of all, the suite has a jacuzzi, but it was not filled with water in advance. It was very dirty inside and the water was very slow. It took an hour to clean up. My waist was about to break. The water was filled for two and a half hours. It was dark when the water was enough. There were mosquitoes everywhere. It was not used at all. Bad review. The second point is their dinner, which starts at 7 o'clock. We were the first table to order at 6:50 on the first day. It was already 8 o'clock when the food was served. It is not friendly to travel with young children. We decided to go out for dinner the next day, but someone called at 9 o'clock in the evening to ask if we would like to go to the restaurant for dinner, which directly woke up the children. . .

This is a well-known chain resort hotel in Sri Lanka. The overall design blends seamlessly with the natural environment. While the rooms aren't luxurious, they are still of good quality. The service is good, with plenty of staff; perhaps labor costs are low.

Kandy only stayed for one night and stayed at this hotel. It was so ideal that I was very satisfied. But if you are asking for a senior in a five-star hotel, this is not for you. It is quiet, beautiful, kind and customs, everything has a sense of history, the swimming pool is very beautiful, but you can only wait for the sun to swim, otherwise it is too cold

Every time I come to kandy, I live here. When I came here more than ten years ago, it was a private courtyard that was being rented and sold, and there were no wooden houses! Now it has become a picturesque scenery of red, red, green and green.

Very good value for money hotel. Very new, not long after opening, so very welcoming to guests and good service. The rooms are large and beautiful. The hotel is located on the top of the mountain, the scenery is very beautiful, and it is very quiet. Because it is January, the water in the pool is relatively cold, which is not suitable for swimming. However, the hotel also prepares a spa pool with a constant temperature of 36 degrees, so you can enjoy the view while soaking. And the hotel's breakfast was superb. However, the hotel is about 18km away from Kandy. I personally think it is suitable for chartered passengers. If you take tuk tuk to the city, it will cost Rs 1,500.

The facilities are very good, the service is very good, the hotel is very new, and the service staff is very dedicated. The men are handsome and the women are beautiful. In particular, at breakfast, the distant mountains are faint, the clouds are translucent, the buddha's voice is misty, the birds are singing, like a fairyland! I have to say that the boss and the wife have spent more than ten years in China, and they are very kind!

A relatively good local restaurant with a swimming pool, rich food, typical English breakfast and dinner, overlooking the entire ancient city of Kandy. Highly recommended if staying in Kandy.

Originally booked Grand, who knew that it was cancelled without reason before check-in, it was really speechless, and then I was forced to change this one when I was playing. This one has a good environment, but the location is too biased and there is nothing around. Originally, Kandy is the mountain city, eating is not convenient, The overall view of the top of the mountain is not as good as I booked before, but I can't see anything, because I went out to eat and passed by, the grand location is excellent. The room facilities are old, the roof is covered with foam, the service is not bad, the price is high, and the price is not high. Breakfast is also ordered.

Not sure why the rating is so high. The photos shown are misleading. In real, the hotel looked nothing like the photos. In real, everything looked ancient and tired. The room i stayed was spacious but that’s the only thing about it. I didnt feel comfortable in the room . Even bath rope was frayed.
There’s a swimming pool and sauna room in the hotel, the room itself is ok. All the outside areas including the pool looked dirty and extremely basic. I doubt anyone would want to go in for a dip.
It’s also kinda stocking that the height of the bathroom countertop was to my mid-thighs. I’m 160cm.
Having said that, staff were nice and polite.
Will I pay 90USD for this, without breakfast? Never again.
