The breakfast was good, but it must be done earlier. We arrived 20 minutes before the end, and some varieties are gone. There is a hot spring pool that is open-air. The hotel has a coin-operated laundry service.

A hotel with a sense of history. All the American cultural history is written in the building. I was fortunate to have a chat with the boss. It was very friendly and kind and helped us solve the problem about the nearby park!

The hotel is just off the highway, and there are two hotels around. The hotel is good and fresh, and the breakfast variety is medium. The car park is free and right at the door of the hotel.

The room was nice and we felt safe staying in the hotel. Parking is secure and free, which was nice. We were charged a deposit, which had not been returned to us over a week after our visit. We didn’t damage the room and haven’t been advised as to why our deposit had not been refunded. We left before trying their grab n go breakfast because we were awakened at 3am by a barking dog in another room. The dog didn’t quiet down so we made the decision to leave.

Hotel location is good, close to the 101 road and the old town of Eureka, the parking lot is big enough. The reception staff was polite and the room was a little old, but it was quite large. The bed is also comfortable. The hot water is very good.

I chose this property because of the close proximity to old downtown and other places we could easily walk to. Super 8's are usually clean and economical as well. Beware that the location brings risks of theft and encounters with substance abusers and derelicts.

With Motel 6 in America you know in advance exactly what you’re going to get and the one in Eureka certainly delivers what’s on the label. Prices were quite reasonable and the venue is located right on the 101 highway. The rooms are exactly as you would expect and everything was clean and the bed was very comfortable. There was a bathtub and shower combination and the water was nice and hot. There were plenty of clean towels. Ample parking was available and I felt safe in the property. Motel six is a three star hotel chain and this location delivered a five star service within that class.

Bring your own USB charger. There is a nice shiny, new/different heating/cooling unit, of a type we’ve never seen and there are no instructions, so we never managed to bypass the child lock function. The service was good, providing extra hand towels & a pillow (the king-size bed had the standard 3) on request. We stayed in the ADA room, which was surprising bare of furniture (only 1 chair, no desk) to provide room for wheelchair movement. A refrigerator with no freezer unit, a microwave, and two nightstands completed the furniture. There is a heated floor and a roll-in shower in the bathroom. It was not too noisy, despite being on southbound Highway 101. We would NOT going down to 3rd Street but doing all traveling via 5th Street, northbound Hwy. 101. 3rd Street instantly turns into the homeless/mentally disabled region. We couldn’t even make a right turn onto 3rd because one homeless man, towing his belongings in a child’s wagon, stood in the crosswalk and screamed at us.
