Even the Aman in the city has its charms; this is definitely a top-tier experience in Bangkok. The rooms are impeccable, from design to maintenance, and very comfortable. The public areas offer plenty to explore; the lobby has a great view and connects to the restaurant without being noisy. I particularly loved the money tree in the lobby. Downstairs is Nai Lert Park, an urban oasis in the heart of bustling Bangkok that's worth visiting even if you're not staying at the hotel. The hotel's food is excellent; don't miss the crab porridge and crab omelet for breakfast – they are absolutely delicious! The service was flawless, and they provided many complimentary items. It's a shame I couldn't take the handmade chocolates with me!

I spent a holiday at the Ritz-Carlton with my family last March, and this time I chose the Ritz-Carlton again to create memories with just my daughter. As expected, the Ritz-Carlton never disappoints. The food, swimming pool, sauna, and fitness center were all excellent, and we had a wonderful holiday. Especially since it was just my daughter and me, it was a perfectly blissful vacation. It's a hotel I'd love to visit again. I want to express my deepest gratitude to the staff who were incredibly welcoming from the moment we checked in. My sincere thanks to all the Ritz-Carlton staff at the pool, fitness center, and those who greeted us so warmly every time we passed by. I was particularly touched by the service of being offered a complimentary breakfast buffet because we had to wait 20 minutes for check-in. Once again, I thank you deeply and hope to convey my appreciation during our next visit. Truly the best hotel!

I stayed for four consecutive nights. The room facilities were good, but the window couldn't be opened, and there was a slight sour smell in the room, as if the renovation fumes hadn't completely dissipated. I tipped every day, but they never replenished the tissues until I put the empty box in a prominent spot. Also, the sink drained very slowly, so I had to alternate between the two sinks just to wash my face. The hotel is connected to a shopping mall, making dining and entertainment very convenient.

I ended up seeing three different rooms because I had to switch from the initial one I was given, and thankfully, I didn't encounter the musty smell that other reviews mentioned. The bedside table drawers have various charging ports, and there's a USB port under the desk cover, so charging is never an issue. I went to the spa two days in a row. The first day was very satisfying, but on the second day, the therapist I had wasn't great – it felt like she was rushing through it. After providing objective feedback, the manager came to apologize and gave me a 50% discount. The standalone spa building still has a wonderful ambiance, and the relaxation area after the treatment is very comfortable. I didn't get a chance to use the pool. I always seemed to miss it due to the break needed after spa treatments. It's too hot to sunbathe during the day, and with many kids and foreigners around, you can't really swim anyway. It's good if you're looking to sunbathe. The gym's jacuzzi, dry sauna, and steam room were not crowded and quite good. Breakfast easily gets 4 out of 5 stars. The selection is abundant, and the quality of ingredients is good, but there's nothing particularly unique about it. It's pretty much the same selection you'd find in other hotels, with no à la carte options. The hotel is very close to ICONSIAM. You can walk or take the hotel's complimentary boat. It opens at 10 AM, which perfectly solves your lunch and dinner plans every day – very convenient.
