Our stay at Raffles Sentosa was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like royalty. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely welcome, setting the tone for what became an unforgettable weekend celebrating my wife’s birthday.
We were incredibly grateful to be upgraded to the Signature Suite for the occasion. The villa was absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, luxurious, and incredibly private. Combined with perfect weather throughout our stay, it made for an idyllic and relaxing escape.
Breakfast each morning was far more than just a meal. It was an experience. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the outstanding service made us look forward to it every day. A very special thank you to Fernando, who looked after us so warmly on both mornings. He always made sure our glasses were full, took the time to chat with us, and truly made breakfast feel personal and memorable.
One of the highlights of our stay was when the entire breakfast team surprised my wife by singing “Happy Birthday.” It was such a thoughtful gesture that made her day even more special. Every member of staff we encountered also wished her a happy birthday, making her feel celebrated throughout the entire resort. It was these genuine, heartfelt touches that transformed a wonderful stay into one we will cherish forever.
The housekeeping team also deserves special recognition. They were absolutely adorable, attentive, and always greeted us with the warmest smiles. No request was ever too much trouble, and they consistently went above and beyond to ensure our villa was perfect.
To everyone at Raffles Sentosa, thank you for creating such a magical birthday weekend. Your warmth, professionalism, and genuine hospitality made us feel incredibly special from beginning to end. We will most definitely be returning and cannot wait to experience your wonderful hospitality again. Thank you once again to the entire team!

Make your special occasion even more special
Our stay at Raffles Sentosa did not start off on the best note. During the reservation process, the responses from the sales representative were difficult to understand due to language clarity issues and inconsistent explanations regarding the villa usage policy. As guests planning a special occasion, it was frustrating to receive messages that were confusing rather than helpful when we were simply seeking straightforward guidance (like extra tables).
However, the Events and Sales team quickly turned the situation around and completely exceeded our expectations with their service recovery. A special shout-out to Cherry, Rhea, and our dedicated butler Christopher, who went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was seamless and memorable. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care were truly reflective of the Raffles brand and reminded us why we chose Raffles Sentosa for such an important occasion.
We particularly appreciated the pet-friendly villa, which meant our pet dog could enjoy the stay alongside us. The villa facilities were excellent, the complimentary add-ons provided a really sweet personal touch to our little celebration and the buggy rides around the property added a fun and luxurious touch to the overall experience.
Also appreciate the service from the Royal China crew who delivered the dim sums to our villa (since the restaurant premises do not allow pets) so that we get to enjoy the food in the comfort of our villa.
While there is room for improvement in the pre-arrival reservation experience, and probably the pet supplies (only given a dog bed and two empty bowls) and pet-friendly dining facilities, the outstanding service delivered by the team during our stay more than made up for it. Thank you to Cherry, Rhea, and Christopher for making our celebration a special one :)

I have to say, at least I feel the hotel is ******.
1. We disembarked from the cruise ship at 7:30 AM and checked in that day, then went out to explore. We returned to the hotel at 2:30 PM and I wanted to ask if we could check in half an hour early, but was told that due to a late check-out by the previous guests, we might not even be able to check in by 3 PM. I immediately expressed my unacceptance, stating that the official check-in time was 3 PM and I needed my room then. During this time, one white guest after another received their room cards from the front desk staff, who even offered them tea and water. I waited until the very last minute for a manager to come out, express a small apology, offer me water, and give my child a drawing kit to pacify us. Then, at 3:05 PM, when we finally got to the room, it still hadn't been fully cleaned... The funniest part was finding an empty chocolate box, as if inviting me to eat it...
2. Because we checked in in a hurry, I wasn't told our room number, and I don't usually check the room number when leaving, especially since it wasn't on the room card. At 9:40 PM, I returned to the front desk, gave them the room card, and asked for our room number. They took a long time to look it up, and when we got to the room, the card wouldn't open the door. I went back to the front desk, and they actually suggested that I might have demagnetized the card by placing it with my phone? This is the first time I've seen a hotel blame the guest first when there's an issue... I had another room card that I hadn't taken out with me, and when I tried it later, it also didn't open the door, further proving it wasn't my fault.
Due to several incidents, I complained to the hotel that night. After the complaint, the hotel did offer some compensation to make up for our experience, which at least made us feel a bit better emotionally, but the flaws in service remain unaddressed.
Objectively, the hotel is beautiful, and the food at the restaurant is delicious. All the other service staff we encountered, apart from the front desk, were very good! However, my overall impression of the hotel is that it's overly fawning towards white guests. For someone like me, who has certain expectations for the emotional value of hotel service, Raffles would not be a good choice. But if you want to experience the hotel's unique history and style, it's definitely worth a try.
P.S. If you're staying with children and also encounter guests smoking in the hallway, that really makes for a very poor experience, which we also unfortunately did.

📍Raffles Hotel Singapore🇸🇬
˜☺˜ Named after Singapore's founder, Sir Stamford Raffles, this hotel has stood for 140 years. The original clock from its inception still graces a corner of the lobby, and the doormen are still Sikh guards from India. The building itself is a work of art. The moment you step inside, Singapore's heat instantly vanishes. Listening to the swaying fans, you finally arrive in the endless summer of Nanyang~ 🪭
✈️ After a 6-hour flight, we kicked off our Singapore trip at this legendary century-old hotel. In the evening, we headed to the Long Bar for a hand-shaken Singapore Sling. So many people visit for this, it's truly become a cultural icon of Singapore 🥂.
🍒🍋🟩🍍 The drink has a sweet and sour fruity taste, with gin as its base, complemented by cherry brandy, grenadine, pineapple, and lemon… It's a well-balanced flavor, and you get to soak in the atmosphere of Raffles' headquarters. Whether it was the great company or just a truly delicious drink, that evening, with the swaying fans, a slight buzz, and peanut shells scattered all over the floor 🥜, we officially began our chill Nanyang 🏝️ holiday 🔛!

The stay was magical and the staffs went above and beyond. From communicating the purpose of travel through the customer service hotline from a month prior to the stay, to informing me once check in is available, to the butler service. The response rate was fast for buggy services and the butlers were really friendly to show us around and ensured that the birthday experience went well!

An exceptional stay from start to finish! The Butlers, Hazel, Kane and Iris, went out of their way to help us with our bags and arrange related reservations. The bed was remarkably comfortable, and the amenities were top-notch. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free getaway!

We were a large group of 8 people this time, reserving four rooms. As soon as we arrived, we were immediately captivated by the beautiful lawns and peacocks roaming around – it was amazing! This hotel truly feels like a paradise for birdwatchers; we even saw hornbills and parrots. Our suites were wonderfully integrated with nature. The service was excellent; even though three of my elders from mainland China didn't speak much Mandarin, the staff were incredibly patient and accommodating. However, the restaurant service could use some improvement. Having just come from the Four Seasons in the city, I felt this place was luxurious, but overall, the Four Seasons' service was a bit better. Nevertheless, Capella is my favorite hotel in China. I missed staying at the one in Bangkok last time, but I'll definitely try it if I get the chance next time. Oh, and the shuttle service to popular shopping malls is an absolute lifesaver!

My stay at Marina Bay Sands Singapore was absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it!
The hotel's location is excellent, directly connected to a mall, and within walking distance of famous attractions like Gardens by the Bay and Merlion Park, making getting around incredibly convenient. Check-in was efficient, and the staff were warm and professional, providing attentive service throughout, truly reflecting a five-star hotel experience.
The room was spacious and comfortable, with a modern design and immaculate cleanliness. The bed was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderfully comfortable night's sleep. What truly impressed me most was the room's view – whether it was the city skyline or the Marina Bay night view, both were absolutely stunning.
The hotel's infinity pool definitely lives up to its reputation; the views are unforgettable and it's an absolute must-visit spot when in Singapore. The breakfast spread was extensive, with a great variety of both Western and Asian options, all of which tasted delicious.
Overall, everything from the environment and facilities to the service was impeccable. It was a very enjoyable and memorable stay. If I ever visit Singapore again, I will definitely choose this hotel, and I'll be recommending it to all my friends and family!

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Laurus in Sentosa last month, and it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. As a brand-new property that opened in October 2025, everything felt fresh, pristine, and thoughtfully designed from the moment we arrived.
Our suite was exceptionally spacious at 115 square metres – an incredible luxury in Singapore, where such generous room sizes are rare. The décor struck the perfect balance: high-end and luxurious without ever feeling over-the-top. It exuded a refined elegance that made the space feel like a true home away from home. My wife and I both felt instantly relaxed and comfortable.
The room amenities were outstanding. We especially appreciated the premium Devialet Bluetooth speaker, the self-service coffee machine with a milk dispenser, and the thoughtful filtered water taps offering room-temperature and hot water. These details not only added convenience but also reflected a genuine commitment to sustainability by reducing single-use plastics. The bathroom was another highlight – spacious and with powerful water pressure that made every shower a delight.
What truly elevated our stay, however, was the exceptional service. From the warm and enthusiastic welcome by the manager at check-in to the attentive care throughout our stay, the staff went above and beyond. A special mention goes to the delightful team member Ngang Ngang (I hope I’ve spelled that correctly!), who personally delivered a charming owl stuffed toy to our room as a welcome gift. My wife adores owls, so this small, personal touch brought us so much joy and perfectly captured the hotel’s thoughtful approach to hospitality.
Every aspect of the service felt attentive, genuine, and meticulous. We truly didn’t want to leave and found ourselves wishing we could extend our stay indefinitely. The Laurus has set a new standard for luxury in Singapore, seamlessly blending modern comfort, elegant design, and heartfelt service.
We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and will definitely be returning on our next trip to Singapore. Thank you to the entire team for creating such a special experience! 🙂

This was the perfect staycation for our fam of 4 with 2 teenage boys. We booked the connecting rooms that came with one double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Room size super generous, with a large living room and bathroom for each of the rooms. Reopened just last Oct-25, Hotel Laurus is one of the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. The decor is so classy with very high quality fixture and fittings. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was beautiful and selection excellent! The pool is much larger than before (compared to when it was Hard Rock Hotel) and we had a memorable 2 nights at the hotel. Not forgetting the direct (sheltered) connection to Weave which all the excellent restaurants for the hungry tummy. This is a 6* for us!
