The only pro’s of this villa was the services provided, the tuck in service, the breakfast room service, the tea time service that’s all…
It is a ＞20yrs villa expected it to be slightly run down … but when u charge such a high price I’m expecting atleast the room and amenities will be clean… purposely booked this to enjoy the jacuzzi bath but end up it only work from 7-10pm (does not make sense in Msia as there is a lot of mosquitoes esp in night time)… and the one in my room does not work at all… called for help end up the worker said the previous “guest” shut it off only get to try it for the last hour. As for the bed and couch .. there are stain here and there … we purposely booked one with the kitchen so we can use it .. end up we pay more for a .. kettle and sink. We were told that we can only do “light cooking” ?!
I really could not justify the price that we paid for this..

The private pool wasn't very clean and had no water circulation. The tea break was disappointing, with limited choices and poor quality, especially the cendol. The kuih was overly sweet as well. The cocktail hour was only one hour, which felt too short. Breakfast was quite nice, but there weren't enough tables. I believe they should offer priority seating to loft room guests or those who pay a higher rate. Overall, the management came across as stingy.

We're pretty picky, and we stayed here for the Sammi Cheng concert. The hotel service was absolutely top-notch, fantastic! The only minor hiccup was a slight communication issue between the booking agent and the hotel, which delayed our check-in by about 30 minutes. However, both Trip.com and the hotel offered compensation, which was appreciated. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and there was absolutely no noise, which was a definite improvement over the Guangzhou Four Seasons. The room was also impeccably clean and tidy – a big shout-out to the cleaning staff! I'll definitely try to choose Four Seasons for my future travels.

An amazing first stay at Banyan Tree Kuala Lumpur. I was travelling with my 71-year-old mum for our first mother-and-son getaway, and the team made us feel genuinely welcomed from the moment we arrived

The room is quite spacious, and the bed is large.
However, I feel the cleanliness isn't quite up to par with the St. Regis in Singapore.
The housekeeping staff were very friendly and helpful.
The location is good; even though it's not near the Petronas Twin Towers, it's close to the train station, which is convenient for those catching a train the next day.

Spectacular hotel, truly exceptional in every aspect, from its central location to the breakfast, cleanliness, swimming pool, and everything else. The room is very spacious with a bathroom that has a bathtub. The cleanliness is perfect, and the room service is just as good. There's a minibar that's refilled multiple times a day. The breakfast is rich and varied with many choices, and the cuisine is refined with sophisticated dishes. The infinity pool is very beautiful, and the gym is convenient with brand-new equipment.
One of the most beautiful hotels in terms of both design and service. Highly recommended and exceptional. 10/10

The RuMa is in such a great location. I did my morning run at KLCC Park every day during my stay, and honestly, that was one of the best parts for me! 🥰
I also really loved the concept and ambience of the hotel — very cosy, intimate, with dim lighting that creates such a calm and relaxing mood. It was exactly the kind of atmosphere I wanted for a staycation.
Breakfast was okay, but the highlight of our stay was definitely the room upgrade. Thank you so much to The RuMa team for the lovely surprise and for making our stay even more special. We truly enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back! ❤️

The room was quite spacious, and the bed was incredibly comfortable – very soft and large enough, which greatly helped with sleep. However, there were a few things that seemed inconsistent with a luxury hotel's decor and facilities. Firstly, the sink was quite shallow and small, causing water to splash out when washing my face. The toilet was a very basic model, lacking any smart features. The shower room's seal wasn't good, so water easily flowed out onto the floor during showers. Additionally, the soundproofing in the hotel room was poor; noises from the hallway easily carried into the room, and the roar of cars from the street was clearly audible.

Having stayed at various W Hotels, I've always found them to be consistently clean, high-quality, and with excellent service. The breakfast spread is always varied and plentiful. It's a brand I trust, mainly because their standards are so consistent across all properties.
