Make your special occasion even more special Our stay at Raffles Sentosa did not start off on the best note. During the reservation process, the responses from the sales representative were difficult to understand due to language clarity issues and inconsistent explanations regarding the villa usage policy. As guests planning a special occasion, it was frustrating to receive messages that were confusing rather than helpful when we were simply seeking straightforward guidance (like extra tables). However, the Events and Sales team quickly turned the situation around and completely exceeded our expectations with their service recovery. A special shout-out to Cherry, Rhea, and our dedicated butler Christopher, who went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was seamless and memorable. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care were truly reflective of the Raffles brand and reminded us why we chose Raffles Sentosa for such an important occasion. We particularly appreciated the pet-friendly villa, which meant our pet dog could enjoy the stay alongside us. The villa facilities were excellent, the complimentary add-ons provided a really sweet personal touch to our little celebration and the buggy rides around the property added a fun and luxurious touch to the overall experience. Also appreciate the service from the Royal China crew who delivered the dim sums to our villa (since the restaurant premises do not allow pets) so that we get to enjoy the food in the comfort of our villa. While there is room for improvement in the pre-arrival reservation experience, and probably the pet supplies (only given a dog bed and two empty bowls) and pet-friendly dining facilities, the outstanding service delivered by the team during our stay more than made up for it. Thank you to Cherry, Rhea, and Christopher for making our celebration a special one :)

We had a 4 day 3 nights stay at Raffles Sentosa. The check in took an hour as there were some comms breakdown between Trip.com and hotel and our booking wasn't found. Eventually, the hotel checked us in at around 5pm after we spoke to the manager. The hotel's infra was genuinely impressive and nice but there is a major flaw in the villa pool. The water in the pool looks like drain water, esp after raining. Even though the hotel claims that the PH level was safe for swimming, it looks really unappealing. Definitely not something a 5-star luxury hotel should offer its guests. After we raised the issue of pool water safety, we were promptly moved to another villa for our last night where the pool water was what it should have been, and offer some in-room dining voucher, which was a nice gesture. Breakfast at the empire grill was great, and different from your usual bf buffet. Some service crew were also very friendly but others looked a little aloof. The hotel is still young, and in the process of still figuring the operarations, staff training and optimal infrastructure. Overall, if not for the underwhelming check-in experience, the murkey water in our first villa, I'd have rated the experience a lot higher. Raffles Sentosa has huge potential but it needs to work on its kinks.

I have to say, at least I feel the hotel is ******. 1. We disembarked from the cruise ship at 7:30 AM and checked in that day, then went out to explore. We returned to the hotel at 2:30 PM and I wanted to ask if we could check in half an hour early, but was told that due to a late check-out by the previous guests, we might not even be able to check in by 3 PM. I immediately expressed my unacceptance, stating that the official check-in time was 3 PM and I needed my room then. During this time, one white guest after another received their room cards from the front desk staff, who even offered them tea and water. I waited until the very last minute for a manager to come out, express a small apology, offer me water, and give my child a drawing kit to pacify us. Then, at 3:05 PM, when we finally got to the room, it still hadn't been fully cleaned... The funniest part was finding an empty chocolate box, as if inviting me to eat it... 2. Because we checked in in a hurry, I wasn't told our room number, and I don't usually check the room number when leaving, especially since it wasn't on the room card. At 9:40 PM, I returned to the front desk, gave them the room card, and asked for our room number. They took a long time to look it up, and when we got to the room, the card wouldn't open the door. I went back to the front desk, and they actually suggested that I might have demagnetized the card by placing it with my phone? This is the first time I've seen a hotel blame the guest first when there's an issue... I had another room card that I hadn't taken out with me, and when I tried it later, it also didn't open the door, further proving it wasn't my fault. Due to several incidents, I complained to the hotel that night. After the complaint, the hotel did offer some compensation to make up for our experience, which at least made us feel a bit better emotionally, but the flaws in service remain unaddressed. Objectively, the hotel is beautiful, and the food at the restaurant is delicious. All the other service staff we encountered, apart from the front desk, were very good! However, my overall impression of the hotel is that it's overly fawning towards white guests. For someone like me, who has certain expectations for the emotional value of hotel service, Raffles would not be a good choice. But if you want to experience the hotel's unique history and style, it's definitely worth a try. P.S. If you're staying with children and also encounter guests smoking in the hallway, that really makes for a very poor experience, which we also unfortunately did.

📍Raffles Hotel Singapore🇸🇬 ˜☺˜ Named after Singapore's founder, Sir Stamford Raffles, this hotel has stood for 140 years. The original clock from its inception still graces a corner of the lobby, and the doormen are still Sikh guards from India. The building itself is a work of art. The moment you step inside, Singapore's heat instantly vanishes. Listening to the swaying fans, you finally arrive in the endless summer of Nanyang~ 🪭 ✈️ After a 6-hour flight, we kicked off our Singapore trip at this legendary century-old hotel. In the evening, we headed to the Long Bar for a hand-shaken Singapore Sling. So many people visit for this, it's truly become a cultural icon of Singapore 🥂. 🍒🍋🟩🍍 The drink has a sweet and sour fruity taste, with gin as its base, complemented by cherry brandy, grenadine, pineapple, and lemon… It's a well-balanced flavor, and you get to soak in the atmosphere of Raffles' headquarters. Whether it was the great company or just a truly delicious drink, that evening, with the swaying fans, a slight buzz, and peanut shells scattered all over the floor 🥜, we officially began our chill Nanyang 🏝️ holiday 🔛!

The stay was magical and the staffs went above and beyond. From communicating the purpose of travel through the customer service hotline from a month prior to the stay, to informing me once check in is available, to the butler service. The response rate was fast for buggy services and the butlers were really friendly to show us around and ensured that the birthday experience went well!

The room wasn't huge, but we came for the views and they definitely delivered! It was such a unique and delightful experience to see all sorts of animals swimming right outside our window. Ordering room service was super convenient, so you could easily stay in the room all day, or if you wanted to go out, a buggy would come pick you up.

Absolutely wonderful! It truly felt like a vacation, a completely different experience from city hotels. It's also really close to the beach; a short stroll and you're there to enjoy the sea. The staff were all so warm and attentive, and breakfast was simply impeccable. They even brought us water by the pool without us having to ask.

My stay at Marina Bay Sands Singapore was absolutely fantastic and I highly recommend it! The hotel's location is excellent, directly connected to a mall, and within walking distance of famous attractions like Gardens by the Bay and Merlion Park, making getting around incredibly convenient. Check-in was efficient, and the staff were warm and professional, providing attentive service throughout, truly reflecting a five-star hotel experience. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a modern design and immaculate cleanliness. The bed was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a wonderfully comfortable night's sleep. What truly impressed me most was the room's view – whether it was the city skyline or the Marina Bay night view, both were absolutely stunning. The hotel's infinity pool definitely lives up to its reputation; the views are unforgettable and it's an absolute must-visit spot when in Singapore. The breakfast spread was extensive, with a great variety of both Western and Asian options, all of which tasted delicious. Overall, everything from the environment and facilities to the service was impeccable. It was a very enjoyable and memorable stay. If I ever visit Singapore again, I will definitely choose this hotel, and I'll be recommending it to all my friends and family!

This was the perfect staycation for our fam of 4 with 2 teenage boys. We booked the connecting rooms that came with one double bedroom and a twin bedroom. Room size super generous, with a large living room and bathroom for each of the rooms. Reopened just last Oct-25, Hotel Laurus is one of the nicest hotel we have ever stayed in. The decor is so classy with very high quality fixture and fittings. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast room was beautiful and selection excellent! The pool is much larger than before (compared to when it was Hard Rock Hotel) and we had a memorable 2 nights at the hotel. Not forgetting the direct (sheltered) connection to Weave which all the excellent restaurants for the hungry tummy. This is a 6* for us!

This is a fantastic hotel! It's located in a quiet spot but still super convenient for getting to all the attractions. The service was excellent, especially from housekeeping. They noticed we were using pillows to block the side of the bed and proactively installed a bed rail the next day – so thoughtful! The pool was also great; we stayed two nights, and my family felt it wasn't long enough. We'll definitely have to stay longer next time!
