The hotel's location is super convenient, yet it's also very quiet. The breakfast was delicious and varied daily. The staff were incredibly helpful; my flight arrived very early, and even though it was before check-in time, they arranged a temporary room for me to rest in. I'm so grateful for their coordination. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The hotel is very nice, surely in the top 5 of Dhaka, the staff is friendly and professional. Location extremely convent to reach the airport and the expo center.
PRO: location, staff, breakfast and restaurant are pretty good, room is spacious and bathroom also nice
TO IMPROVE: room key stop working way to often, I think in my stay (8 nights) I've been to the front desk to get new keys at least 15 times.... facilities can be better, room need a little renovation to launch this hotel on a higher price point

Luxurious rooms, excellent service, and great amenities. The breakfast buffet was amazing with so many choices. Perfect location for both business and leisure. Highly recommend!

Extremely disappointed with the airport transfer service—completely unacceptable for a hotel of this caliber.
Despite prior arrangements, I was left stranded at the airport for 30 minutes, as the hotel’s representative was waiting at the international terminal, even though I arrived via domestic. There was zero coordination and no communication from their side. I expected better from a so-called 5-star hotel.
To make matters worse, they charged USD 90 for a simple 20-minute ride—an outrageous fee for a service that wasn’t even properly executed. No apology, no accountability, just an overpriced mess.
That said, the rooms and amenities are commendable—clean, comfortable, and up to luxury standards. But service like this seriously undercuts the overall experience.
Westin Dhaka, you can and should do much better.

If the hotel's bathroom does not have an exhaust system, it will have a peculiar smell, which is very annoying, but there are no other problems. The breakfast is quite rich and the staff are friendly and polite.

Unfortunately my room was very old and had an unpleasant smell (probably it used to be a smoking room). I didn’t like the poor conditions of my room. The hotel has got a very nice gym with sauna and a small pool. The gym is really convenient and well equipped. The restaurant is good enough and there is a nice coffee shop always open. The staff is very kind and professional.

The hotel is great, I stay here often. However, the price on Trip.com seems a bit unreasonable. Nowadays, it's usually around 700-800 CNY, but I've paid over 1000 CNY before. I think the pricing system could be more flexible, as no one wants to overpay.

Booking the airport transfer through the hotel was so easy, and the driver was waiting for us right after baggage claim — a perfect first impression. The entire team, from the front desk to the restaurant, is top-notch: attentive, helpful, and always smiling. Knowing we were in the secure embassy area let us relax completely. This hotel is definitely a top-tier choice in Bangladesh, offering a stark contrast between its luxurious interior and the outside world. The room, especially the bed, was incredibly comfortable – I could sleep soundly for hours! I didn't dare use the tap water for brushing my teeth, opting for the bottled water provided by the hotel instead.
Breakfast offered a wide variety, but there was an issue with expired orange juice. The manager initially tried to brush it off, but after I spoke to the front desk, a French manager came out to handle the situation. Overall, it still maintains a certain level of five-star service.
Getting a taxi to various destinations was convenient, with pickups right in the lobby. The room rate offered great value for money.
We also had dinner at the hotel. The buffet at $85 US was definitely overpriced, but the à la carte menu was quite decent, costing around 150 RMB per person.

This hotel isn't rigid with its policies. Even though my booking was non-refundable, they allowed me to change room types since there was availability. However, the price difference in some areas was quite hard to swallow. For instance, when booking, the difference between a room with dinner and without was about 550 RMB per room for two people. Yet, they charged 65 USD per person on-site, which is almost double. This is truly unacceptable. Furthermore, the dinner wasn't international cuisine as expected, but Indian food. While it was Eid al-Fitr, it feels unfair to those who choose international five-star hotels specifically to avoid the Indian food often found in local five-star hotels. I have no other comments, as it is, after all, an international five-star hotel.
