TOP 10 Turlock Hotels

After not being able to travel to California in over two years to due covid, and it being our second home, we had been really disappointed in the changes since the last time for Cali in general, especially the lack of good service. But Turlock redeemed. The staff there were as lovely as they have been for the many years we have stayed at this hotel, so will continue to recommend. It was also very clean, which is another thing that has changed since our last visit to Cali, so many hotels and restaurants dirty. Turlock however was not. Well done Fairfield Inn, we will continue to come back and stay with you every year.

I do pressure vessel inspections in CA state and travel a lot. I preferred to stay in Hilton hotels as I am a diamond member. Last week, I stayed at this place paid around $180 for a night stay. I was satisfied with the check-in and stay. However, morning breakfast was terrible. Oatmeal was spoiled and completely dried up. The attendant was busy chitchatting rather than taking care of the food. No dried fruits and only banana was available for a vegetarian. I had two bananas and checked out. When I tried to give feedback to the attendant as well as the front desk, they came out with excuses rather than regretting and promising better service.

I stayed here for a family situation. All I can say is STAY AWAY! From the moment I checked in, everything just went downhill from there. Check in time is 3pm, I arrived at 3:40pm and was told my Room was not ready. 20 minutes later, it was. The agent told me that a $100 deposit was required for “incidentals”. He also said the “the computer system was down so he had to write my Credit Card info on a piece of paper. I was reluctant to do so since writing down someone’s CC info could be accessed. He promised me the paper would be shredded, and I took his word for it. When he assigned me my Room, he literally “yelled out” the number that I was staying in. Coming from the Hospitality Industry, I know that this is a definite NO! I requested an upper floor room when I made the Reservation weeks ago, but was given a 1st floor room by the elevator and Laundry facilities. I asked the Front Desk agent if another room was available, but I was told “NO”. The room was fairly clean but noisy. The Room above me had someone pounding the floor all night. No sleep at all. When I checked out, I saw the same piece of paper that he wrote my CC info on. I informed the AM agent(who said she was the Front Desk Manager), that I was previously told it would be shredded. She didn’t give me an answer to my question. I also told her that my card was charged 3x for the $100 deposit, which she said would be “washed out” in 7-10 days. She said “really? 3 times? Not sure why that happened.” I asked for the General Manager and she said she was working the graveyard shift that evening and was not available. After I left I called the IHG Corporate Number, who informed me the GM would be contacting me. It’s been 12 days, and still no call back. NEVER AGAIN will I stay here!! Beware!

From the table to the lobby restaurant, it is very pleasant, and various facilities (fitness, printer, etc.) are fully equipped. The staff is friendly and the room is comfortable and nice. Local restaurants and major facilities are within 5-10 minutes ’drive.

Very nice rooms. Microwave, fridge and coffee machine in the room. Fast internet. Fast and accurate check-in and check-out. Free parking. VERY nice breakfast. VERY friendly and helpful staff. Nice but simple pub/restaurant next doors.

Check the reviews, location on the map, and price point. Clean, well-kept, and great customer service. Grocery/Food Stores close by, with access to highway within a few blocks. Stellar service from a cool crew of people!

Nice rooms and the staff was pretty cool as well but.they didn't serve breeskfast
