This is a very good motel, close to the seashore and highly recommended

Ok for a night but would.look for somewhere else if staying longer No air con which in the heat was unbearable Did have a fan which we used to sleep at night but it has limited effect

Nice place to stay, but very poor wi-fi! Very irritating if you want to keep up with relatives or make some work-related issues. It was an important issue for us so we would not recommend this place. When arriving - a person in the reception with hardly no experience of English…not so good when you want to ask for advice on your stay and surroundings!

Property was an older style hotel but good and easily walkable to the center of town, Parking was a bit tight,

The stay and accommodation was good, a little tired, the room could do with having A bit of a spruce up and the Venetian blinds needed replacing. Sky wasn’t working and the tv wasn’t user friendly so couldn’t use other than Netflix. Definitely needed aircon in the heat and there wasn’t any. Staff were very friendly and the stay was overall pretty good and comfortable. Thank you.

The room was clean and spacious. Thè reception at checkin was a simple fill out the form and take the key. During the night there was a noicy party arriving, woke everyone up, not the hotels fault but made for a short nights sleep.

Shower was broken - very disappointing. I hope it has been fixed for future guests. No maps of the area were available at checkin and little information was available on local activities. I would have liked an Akaroa street map and information on the Giant's Garden, the museum and harbour cruises. But none of this was available.

Extremely friendly staff at check in. Close to downtown. Conveniently located.

Great first night stop after landing in Christchurch - amazing lake and location full of history and beautiful buildings

Fantastic place to stay, staff Fantastic, we enjoyed the closeness to many areas wharf, Eateries, also must mention the best fish and chip shop Kaimoana directly accross the road there Battered Mussels are huge and delicious, will Definitely be staying again.

Well situated to all shops and attractions. I have stayed here several times, and each has been great. Well priced and value for money.

Sorry guys but your unit was below standard. Yes great location and was clean but basic stuff like cupboard in front of microwave broken and had to hold door up when used, shower rail stuck high, jug wont turn off automatically, heating below par for early winter stay as unit got cold during the night, toilet seat lid cracked. Easy stuff to fix but suspect has been like that for a while.
