Great rooms, very spacious, staffing are very helpful and friendly. We stay for 1 night in the single bed room which wasn't to bad. The food from the restaurant is very tasty, I ordered toasted bacon and banana it cone with a big portion of salad and chips. A remind if you need the password get it before u leave reception as it isn't in the rooms. Thank you Greenfields really did enjoy the stay

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay at Greenfields. The staff was excellent and always kind to assist. The stay at room 16 was peaceful and relaxing. However, I suggest that few things can improve in the room I resided in. 1. The flooring needed repairing... it made so much noise at night when you walked to the rest room. 2. the shower door is so small you can't enter comfortably into the shower. 3. The toilet curtain was very dirty, and it was torn. 4. Maybe a bigger bedside will make it a bit Cosier. I will still come to this place because it was safe and peaceful. Thank you!

This is a fantastic find, convenient, clean and very safe in a peaceful garden setting. Great rest when on a hectic business trip.

This was our 3rd stay here and its just a good as always29th Sept -5th Oct. Everybody is always friendly and helpful the rooms are always clean and tidy and the gardens are always well kept. We only had the breakfasts but they are always tasty and freshly cooked. Well done to the team at Greenfields. We will be back soon.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious & fresh. Food pricing was very reasonable. The garden and my room was beautiful and clean. I was there on business. Thanks Shaberah Christians

RESTAURANT = We had my mom's 70 Birthday luncheon at Green fields restaurant 7 May'22 in the garden section. I dealt with Wilma who came back to me promptly on every call, wht's app or email message! We were a party of 20 family members and requested a 3 course meal... The menu's which we could choose from making up our own menu as per our guests food choices were lovely and at R190.00 a head for 3 course meal what a BARGAIN! I also told Wilma our theme for the table was vintage. Even though we took most of the table decor through ourselves, table clothes, serviettes, overlays even a beautiful vintage side cupboard was placed out side for us to us as drinks and cake display which fitted in perfectly with our them. All of this was arranged and organised in 3 weeks time - would have been sooner but due to all the public holidays poor Wilma had to wait for me with guest total, menu options, etc! It was truly a special occasion, Gugu and the other Waitrons were all friendly and helpful! Greenfields will most definitely be recommended to all my friends for big or small occasion even just for that pop-in breakfast and or lunch!

We stayed at Greenfield Guesthouse for 1 night. After a long day on the road we expected a nice room and clean bathroom. I was so disgusted when I saw the room and bathroom. This was not nearby a 4* guesthouse. I send a mail to the owner the following day and her answer was that I had to ask for another room. If the room was not up to standard why are they accommodating guests in such a filthy rundowned room. Please do not stay there if you are expecting a 4*!! This is what the bathroom looked like

Response from Property: Good day Mrs Loots This was my response to your email....not just that you had to ask for another room: "Good morning Mrs Loots Thank you for your email. We are very sad to hear that we disappointed you and that you did not enjoy your stay with us. We wish we knew that you were not happy with your room then we could have gladly moved you to another room. The bathroom in room13 is unfortunately one of our older bathrooms. We are in the process of renovating the Greenfields Gold rooms 1 by 1 as funds become available as we are still playing catchup after COVID. We have successfully renovated 8x rooms in the past 2 years, literally ripping out everything, re-tiling, re-positioning plugs, lights, new furniture etc. So we are always doing our best to renovate as quick as possible. I can assure you that we are doing our very best and that happy guests are our main priority. We love what we do and take it to heart when we receive messages like this. " We literally had guests staying in room 13 this past weekend and they came to us asking that we always book them in that room as they loved it. We have one specific guest from a very well known horse estate in cape town that have been coming to Greenfields for more than 10years and every single year she asks to be booked in room 13. It is a lovely room, I am not too sure why you feel this strongly about this room if other guests love it. But as we know everyone has their own taste and preferences, and we respect that. Some of your photos are also misleading as wet wipes did not lie on the floor and towels were neatly put on your bed, toilet paper on the holder, so to post photos like these are also not appropriate. As I mentioned in my email as well, we are renovating older rooms and bathrooms as soon as possible. I know that many people do understand that COVID has hit the hospitality industry hard. We wish you all the best for the rest of 2022.
