Having visited last August, I was looking forward to staying again this June, only to be disappointed on this occasion. This hotel is a 5* with a very corporate feel to it. We had a sea view room on the 5th floor and yes you can see the sea from that room. The breakfast for a 5* establishment was lacking in variety and choice eg, no egg/omelette station, no table service for coffee and tea (had to use a machine), waiting staff in restaurant had limited English. Pool area clean and tidy, sun loungers round the pool are very cramped. Pool bar food was good, variety of drinks and catered well for all. Majority of staff were sullen. Parts of the hotel feel very tired and in need of updating especially the rooms. The room we had felt like a 3* hotel room, very basic facilities, however if a fluffy dressing gown and slippers make up for everything else it's laking to make it 5*, then this is a 5* hotel. The turndown service at night happened between 4-5 pm every day, which in my opinion is far too early. Overall, the hotel is lacking qualities that make a hotel a 5* establishment. I have stayed in many hotels with a 5* rating around the world, and sadly this establishment does not live up to those standards.

Really happy with the choice we made: a nicely sized 5-star hotel, clean, nice & attentive staff. Good breakfast / dinner. Maybe they should try to refurbish / modernise the rooms a little bit, to give it more of an up-to-date image. Close to the beach with some nice bars/restaurants, and a nice walking path parallel to the beach. Definitely a place to return to!!

We stayed here one night while on a Country Roads of Portugal Tour. The hotel was nice but nothing stands out as remarkable! Although the service in the bar was excellent where we enjoyed a coke zero and some chips. You can walk to the beach where you will find several restaurants. The hotel breakfast was good! They had a lovely pool too!

Our second stay at the Ria Park and my wife, daughters and myself enjoyed it tremendously once again. Comfortable rooms, great swimming pool, first class breakfast, super well equipped gym, great views, helpful staff and much more. Only one tiny thing lacking and that would be a coffee machine in the room.

We were originally booked into the Ria Park Garden Hotel, but they changed us to the Ria Park. the hotel is fine - housekeeping left a lot to be desired. staff were lovely. Breakfast was mediocre - could definitely be improved. The hotel needs a little care, a small upgrade in decor would be good. On arrival our room had bottles of water - we had to ask for it to be replenished 2 days later - lack of attention to detail. The pool area is lovely. The main shortfall was breakfast and housekeeping. The upside was the staff in reception and the bar were great.

In the middle of a park at a distance from the seaside, with old-style furniture. If they place you in the residence area, you must go to walk on the main street to visit hotel facilities every time. Rooms are clean, but don't support the amenities in regular base. Basic buffet menu served in good quality.

I'm not sure what constitutes a 5 star property in Portugal but I felt this hotel missed some of the finer points in delivering a 5 star experience. Hardly the end of the world I know but a hotel not having basic facilities available such as irons and ironing boards was puzzling at best until I discovered it was €4 per shirt which they offered to do! I notified them on the first day that the shower didn't work and on the final day confirmed when I checked out on the 4th day that it still wasn't working. This combined with some surly staff (others were OK tbf) didn't provide a 5 star experience but like I said hardly earth shattering when you consider the location, beach and other facilities.

Very nice, high-end hotel nestled in a tranquil upscale area with quiet surroundings. Impeccable quality all the way from check-in to room to dinner and breakfast. It's worth the stay if ever you're in the Almancil area of The Algarve.

We came to this hotel after our flight was cancelled due to the air traffic control issues. The hotel has been fantastic at helping us and many other stranded passengers. They worked tirelessly with the airline to sort out our accommodation until we could get home (many of us this was 5 days away!) and also provided food. The management did not stop until they sorted it out and we will be forever grateful! In terms of the hotel, it’s wonderful. The rooms are huge and comfortable, the pool is great for the kids and the beach is beautiful. We’ve had a lovely unexpected stay here but will certainly be back!! A huge thank you to you all the staff here especially at reception.

Great hotel experience! What struck us most was the amazing staff, everyone from the housekeeper to the bell boys - the front desk manager Micaela Nobrega went out of her way to help us to the utmost details- a breath of fresh air. The pool area is very nice, perfectly manicured gardens and friendly staff. Last but not least the restaurant food was excellent and beds very very comfortable - a place to come back to!

I have just returned from the hotel 1 day ago. Overall I really liked the hotel, but there were some things that really let it down for 5*. The hotel is very clean and the maids always left the rooms so well and would never touch any of your things. Only issue with the room is, they could do with being updated and the air conditioning was poor. Swimming pool was a good size with plenty of towels and clean. The pool bar and lobby bar was also good, the pool bar would have been much better if they had a few options of toasties etc without chips at a slightly lower price. Also I kept asking for crisps and they kept telling me everyday we are waiting. They never came! The breakfast was ok, but for 5* it could have been a lot better, it was missing a fresh egg station and also a menu to order. It was very repetitive, one cake every day and most days it was the same. STAFF what let this hotel down the most was the staff, some of the staff were ok, whilst others were rude and every time you would ask I for something it seemed like a major problem. For 5* no matter what I ask for, should not be a problem. Also the hotel has no option of adding a drinks package. There was also a shuttle service to bring you to beach each day, but I feel like this shuttle service should have brought you around anywhere in vale do lobo/ Quinta. I would return to the hotel, but could be much better for 5*
