The facilities are neat and good. Staff are friendly too However, the location is good for travel, but at night, every alley There are a lot of people who do *****. You have to leave your keys at the reception and leave. It's not dangerous if you only drive towards the main road. Value for money is really good.

Two minutes on foot from the nearest underground station (Omonoia), nice staff, room big enough with A/C and a flat-screen TV, toiletries and hairdryer provided. Comfortable beds, enough sockets. Smell from the toilet, but could be avoided by closing the toilet door properly. Wi-fi working, but not reliable at times (especially in the evening).

The room wasn't clean and the bathroom was in an unacceptable condition 🙄 . This destroyed my holidays in Athens and unfortunately the staff didn't provide another room in a better situation. I could add some photos 📸 which appear the bad situation of the residence.

Decent hotel very close to Omonia Station Metro and also close to Acropolis. Got a nice 7th floor room. Room was clean and spotless with AC and a balcony. Bathroom could definitely do with modernisation but at the price point I thought it was a nice hotel. Would 100% stay again

I’m a very experienced traveler and this was absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had. The rooms are extremely dirty, filthy, and unsanitary. The hotel itself is very run down and it’s located in a very unsafe and sketchy part of Athens. As a solo female traveler, I’ve never felt unsafe inside my room especially to the extent that I had to block the door into my room with a chair to make sure that I at least hear it if someone tries to get in. I booked it for 5 nights and ran away after the first night, I should’ve just left right away after arriving but I got there at night and didn’t have a back up plan. I kindly asked the staff for a partial compensation for unused nights and they refused to refund anything even when *********** got involved. I don’t regret leaving early, it was by far the best decision but I do truly regret financing this establishment. I strongly recommend staying as far as possible from this hotel.

After being told by the taxi driver that this wasn't the safest area in Athens, our expectations for the hotel were rock bottom. Thankfully, this seemed to not be true as, despite being very run down, the area didn't feel unsafe. The hotel is very very basic with only the essential amenities for a night or two. There is not even a kettle in the room. Air conditioning functioned fine but the internal room fuse box made a very loud buzzing sound when the room key was used to activate the electricity. It was so loud we slept with the electricity off otherwise sleep would never have come. Despite this, the bed was comfy and clean. The bathroom could have done with a more thorough clean. The mould stained shower curtain was not great and the generally dated tiles made the bathroom feel a bit dirty. The location of the hotel is okay for walking into central Athens, but still is a good 20 minute walk. Pay a bit more and stay in a decent hotel.

In 5 days the sheets weren’t changed. Towels were. Top bed spread was pulled up but underlying sheets weren’t straightened. Shower hose/ nozzle had to be held as there is no wall attachment. Told no rooms had them as guests pull them off? Balcony faced a concrete wall and is about 0.5 metres wide. TV is about 2.5 metres up so you have to sit back on the bed to view it. Some light globes broken. Very dodgy side streets with many homeless and derelict buildings. Lift is good. Staff were helpful. About a 5 minute walk on main street to Omonia Square - shops and subway.

Visited for 1 night in August, needed the air conditioning! The room was compact but clean and quiet. Easy to find and very convenient for Ominias square where the transport hub and tourist attractions are readily available. Plain but adequate breakfast supplied

Bathroom was terrible, shower could only fit a child. Really loud until 4am. Can’t prove it was the bed but woke up with bites all over me. Checked out 2 nights early to move elsewhere and no bites after so probably was. Graffiti outside the hotel telling tourists to go home was a nice welcome. Not the hotels fault but worth mentioning nonetheless. Dodgy area getting weighed up wherever I went. Poor

In my case this was the best quality to price ratio, because for as little as €26 per room per night I got a room with my own bathroom and fridge, and really an excellent view from a very large balcony with chairs. Plus a continental breakfast which was pre-set to orange juice, coffee, two pieces of toast bread, one slice ham, one slice cheese, olives, quite a lot of sweet bread and biscuit, butter, jams and honey. Plus a very pleasant and helpful staff, and a free luggage storage after check-out. Try to stay at the room 804 (by far the best view from the balcony), or at rooms 704 / 604 / 504 etc. (the best view of both the Omonia sq. and Lycabettus hill) or rooms on the 8th floor (best view of hills north of Athens). I asked for a top floor despite making my reservation pretty much last moment and they gave me a room on the 8th floor, i.e. on a top floor, which made me enjoy every evening in Athens when sitting on a balcony every evening with a beer from the fridge in my room being happy about all the beautiful and breathtaking views I had every day at the historical sites of Athens as well as from the hills just by the Acropolis and Lycabetus (easy to hike up when not too hot).

The hotel itself is very nice. The staff is superb and very responsive. There is no available parking right at the property. We did get a small Fiat 500, and was able to park at the hotel front when the business next to it was closed at night. There is parking near the hotel with a 2 minute walk. That is where some of the drug ******* hang out. But surprisingly, they left us alone. Panos, Mikey, Mary and Dimitra are awesome at their jobs. Very friendly staff. Very helpful. The room was clean. Plus when we asked for housekeeping to clean, bring fresh towels. They even fixed up our beds. The shower was small. Plus there was no actual shower head. It was hand held. There were no funny smells. Places to eat were nearby. Souvenir shops were near too. The Metro station was nearby as well. Oskarini on the square was a good gyro place. The owner Adem is a funny guy. Attiki bakery at the square had pastries to die for. Watch out for pick pockets on the train. These are out of towners that prey on tourists. But all in all Diros Hotel 🏨 was good to us. We will be back, because the staff was nice. We will also tell others to go there and stay. The elevator also talks in English and Greek. Ektos Osorofos… sixth floor 😁

I stayed 3 nights in this hotel for a trip in Athens. The position is really good, near the metro stop, but you can easly reach the center and main attractions also on foot. The hotel is cheap and clean and they are super kind (we asked the day before for a triple room instead of a double and they gave us without problem, only adding 10€ per night)!!

Central location, walkable to main historical sites. Felt safe.
