Grand Metropark Hotel Beijing Reviews

The gym is very hot and humid and the water bottle costs you extra 4 RMB (other hotels offer free drinks). THE AIR CONDITIONING IS NOT WORKING AND THE ROOM TEMPERATURE WAS 33 DEGREE =＞ I COULD NOT SLEEP 1 MINUTE OF THE NIGHT! I am totally disappointed here!!

Very nice hotel. Staff was very helpful and polite, though was offered an upgrade like many of the other reviewers I've seen (but not a negative). Pool is very small and a bit of a mess, it is open to the community and the locker room is a bit rundown and it was too crowded to enjoy during my entire stay. The rooms are very nice and clean and the lobby and communal spaces are very nice. 24hr room service is a big plus. The layout of the lobby on the 3rd floor without direct elevator access to the 1st floor is annoying. All deliveries have to be met at the 1st floor and that requires going all the way through the lobby on the 3rd floor and either taking another elevator or two flights of escalators to receive.

The room was very clean and comfortable bed. However, the location is not the best.

Hotel is great, there’s a lot of tv programs, movies for selection. Recommended for the price!

Enjoyed my self so much here that I could do it all over again. I only had one problem when we had the dinner and breakfast, the restaurant staff were confused about charging our bill to our room and tried to make us pay. I was asking what was the point of us depositing the money to our room if we cannot use it. But besides that incident everything else was pleasant. Especially the lady at reception, Una. Her energy and how she treated us was amazing during check in and check out and even asked us about our stay. I would definitely come back whenever I return to Beijing. Though I complained about the restaurant (which was two ladies, one who worked at the entrance and this other one) there was also this other lady that was so helpful and even though her English was not good, took the effort to use her phone to translate in order to help us. I wish I remembered her name so that I can mention it here. And the food was also so delicious I would give 7.5/10. We unfortunately didn't get the chance to try out other facilities like the pool, spa and gym and we wish we had the time to but when we do return, we will try the pool and gym and also the spa.

I came to attend exhibition so location was okay .

Not far from the metro and the train to the airport. Service was ok, but not very special. View from the room was nice. There were Some sounds from outside (sounds like continuous violín Music). no big complaints, but not much that made it special for me. Having said that, the housekeeping personel was very kind. 5 ***** for them
