Ibis Budget Bordeaux Centre Bastide Reviews

Not bad it's just a far from the center but at the same time it justifies the affordable price

Impeccable

The hotel in a good location and close to the tram which takes you into the heart of Bordeaux. You can collect the tram from the airport and it stops about 150 metres from the hotel. The tram is a bonus and costs on 1 euro 80cents for the Journey. The rooms are in good condition and clean. Although fairly tight for 3 people but easy and roomy for 2 persons. Shower big enough however toilet is pretty tight. Its a budget hotel and you get what you are paying for and I would stay there again.

Very easy to take a tram to the city center. Quiet with grocery and boulangerie next door. Property is a little tired in areas, but overall a great breakfast, hot water showers and clean bed.

This hotel was great. The staff were nice and friendly. I had an issue with the toilet and the staff immediately came and fixed it for me. The room was small. Toilet, shower and sink were three different area. The parking was a bit confusing. It shared the same spot as the regular parking lot. The hotel was in a great location, 20 minutes walk to city center.

Great staff, budget friendly room with basic amenities. Mattress extremely uncomfortable to the point where sleep was affected. Pillow flat as a pancake. Duvet small and towels tiny. Street drinkers creating noise outside within the hotel complex at all hours. Great location for exploring Bordeaux, close to tram stop and river.

Facility OK no fare from center, small and missing lobby

Don't confuse this with the IBIS Bastide, just next door. You get a tiny space with just-adequate washing facilities and a (perfectly comfortable) bed. No storage space, no room to move and (no surprise) no kettle. One thin pillow each and one medium towel. The wifi is slow and often refuses to connect. The staff can't help you with this. If you just want a cheap room to sleep in then this is close to the centre, well served by tram and bus. don't expect to be able to do anything else in the room. There is a big Carrefour supermarket next door, which may come in handy.

Just for sleeping it was ok. Yet, tt was one of the worst accomodations I had in Europe so far. My room was worn-out and not very clean. I didn't know that there is such a big difference between Ibis and Ibis Budget hotels. At least bed linen was clean and the staff was friendly.

Convenient location next to a tram stop and a carrefour. Nice staff. The room is comfortable also the sound proofing between rooms could be improved. I would return

Good value

Great welcome from the receptionist on January 12, 9:30 p.m. Very professional, and super friendly. She gave us the room which was very clean. Nothing to say, close to tram transport. Quiet, clean hotel, true to its image.

Fairly sp**** comfort, despite a fairly high nightly price. Booked because the Ibis "Normal" (a stone's throw away, 20 meters away, on the same sidewalk) was not available. (More expensive, but offering a much more substantial service (Bar, chair in the room, etc...)

Very badly We had no heating, I complained and they never took care of it Small room and bathroom… no way… Deplorable parking without barrier and without ticket, dirty and with an ugly smell and in addition they charged me more than they should and notified by hotels The service is not good, the manager does not respond. It happened to me that I was on the wrong day and they came around for an exchange, they only allowed it if I contracted with them again, bad on their part.
