voco Brisbane City Centre, an IHG Hotel Reviews

I was in Brisbane for business and chose to stay at Voco Brisbane because it was near the conference I was required to attend. I had a great stay - staff were friendly and the rooms were a decent size. The view of the Brisbane river was also nice, particularly at sunrise. The hotel was conveniently located although the street was a little too secluded at night. But that is a personal preference. I will try other Voco hotels across Australia during my next work trip.

This is a fresh, and youthful urban hotel, reasonably priced, centrally located hotel in the CBD and the ****** at Queenswharf, and within walking distance to many popular locations including Queens St pedestrian mall, Southbank and the Botanic Gardens. You can also hop on the ferry from North Quay to many stops along the scenic Brisbane River with views of Story Bridge and connections to Howard Smith Wharves and Fortitude Valley.

No direct lift access to the car park. Very inconvenient especially when you have some luggage. Bathroom has no ventilation fan, so after shower have to let the steam and moisture to go into the room to be removed by the air con.

The hotel looks quite fashionable, and the style is different from the same brand in Gold Coast. However, the corridor is very narrow and a bit industrial, which is a bit depressing and uncomfortable. The hotel is in a good location, by the river. From the airport, get off at Roma Street Station and walk for ten minutes. The hotel is not far from the Municipal Square and the Central Station. It is a bit roundabout to the pier because the nearby roads are under construction and it is not easy to find. When I came back at night, I had to take a detour because the exit of the W Hotel was closed.

I like the River view very much. It is convenient for travel. The room and breakfast are quite satisfactory. Parking is 36 Australian dollars per day, and there are not too many spaces.

The hotel is on the Brisbane River, with beautiful scenery on the south bank opposite. The hotel service is very good. No compensation is required for accidentally breaking a cup or losing a room card. I am satisfied with all aspects of cleanliness and the breakfast is rich.

A very good hotel, clean and comfortable, 10 minutes away from the train station. The hotel's service quality has always been at the leading international level. I will stay at this hotel again next time I come to Brisbane.

The room is very clean. The toilet didn't flush, so I told the front desk and they immediately moved me to a different room. We stayed at the end of the year, but there were still lots of Chris**as decorations.

Environment: The room is very comfortable, but the location is a bit remote. It has everything and is very clean. It is convenient to go to South Bank and Queen Street. It is a bit far from Story Bridge. It is a bit far away from buses and trains.

The hotel is strategically located in the business center and is only a few minutes' walk away from the City Hall, Roma Street commercial street, church, South Bank Park across the river and Central Railway Station. The free bus line 50 City Hall Station is also very close. The hotel service is also very good. The front desk and room attendants are very warm and polite. The room is clean and cleaned every day, and there is a free large bottle of drinking water.
