Premier Inn Bristol City Centre (Lewins Mead) Reviews

We stayed because we had a child in PICU after a major surgery. Staff were amazing, I asked if we could extend the time we had to cancel their words were “of course you’re going through enough stress” and they gave us a refund of the second night as we had other accommodation at last minute. I can’t fault them. Everyone was friendly and welcoming and so understanding.

We stay at this Premier Inn quite often when going to childrens hospital. Location exceptional as close to all shops and the hospital. Staff are always helpful and very polite and friendly, can't do enough for you. Always eat in Brewers fayre attached. Amazing staff always so friendly and Lisa and Pri, the managers, always go the extra mile to make sure we have what we need, with us having a severely disabled child. Food varies from day to day but that's what we expect as its not a 5 star hotel but it's cheap and cheerful and staff are exceptional. Don't know all there names. Would recommend this premier inn and brewers fayre to everyone that needs to visit Bristol :)

This hôtel is the best value for money,friendly staff,very helpful, room clean and tidy.great expérience. We came To bristol for a gig cancelled at the last minutes, so we were not in the best mood.fortunatly the hotel staff was very friendly and supportive with a very good british humor for two lost french guys.

Hotel is clean and staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast we purchased was disappointing. The fried eggs were undercooked the food was generally warm at best. I ate it without complaining as I was in a rush, however a woman behind us did complain about the eggs and was told that's how our chef cooks them. The continental side of the breakfast was spot on. I have stayed on a lot of premier inns over the years and this was the worst breakfast by far. Everything else though was great.

We wanted to use premier inn for our stay and their app says they are the number one hotel brand but as we had the dog with us, we couldn’t stay in any premier inn, as they don’t cater for dogs to stay with their owners. Other well know brands of hotel including 4 star hotels in the area do however cater for dogs to stay. Disappointed.

Nice experience

We stay in many Premier Inns all over the UK and have done so for many years, mainly because they are of great value and you know what you are getting: a warm, comfortable, and clean room. All of this is true about Lewins Mead, but we hardly slept a wink due to being able to hear the rooms above and around us. Other guests talking at 3 am-6 am and the room next door having their TV too loud from midnight-2 am. This isn't something we have experienced with Premier Inn before, and it leads me to believe that the soundproofing of this hotel is wholly inadequate. Such a shame as it's location is fantastic with an car park close, and very near many music venues and other Bristol attractions

I always choose Premier Inn as you know what you’re going to get, and they did not disappoint. Friendly service, easy check in, clean, comfortable, safe and central to the city centre, loads of shops and restaurants around too.

Near coach Station.

Superbly located with NCP car parks nearby. We had a family room but not to the usual standard space wise, the approval bed was squeezed in. The adjoining restaurant was closed due to technical issues so we were directed to the next nearest having pre-purchased breakfast. Due to the exceptional circumstances the experience wasn't great, we received a refund and ate in the City the following morning. The staff were efficient and friendly and standards as they should be for this chain.

i have stayed at this premier inn for past twelve years never a issue this visit not premier fault but resturant was closed for three days inconveint had to use other premier for meals they only change bedding if staying more than six nights noticed that things were looking a lot more shabbier

Pros clean room, quiet and comfortable bed Cons Air con/heating stopped working twice and no phone in room meant going through options on the customer line to get to reception. They reset it but took 30mins each time from my morning and made me late! I Specifically paid for the heating and air con due to health so can’t give 5 stars. Spare pillow choices was stained and dusty in bag. No shampoo but two body shower gels. No decaf coffee pods-when asked reception said only herbal tea. no decaf tea either

Reception (Jackie) couldn’t have been more helpful but the restaurant team were rude and the quality of the food was terrible and most items were either run out or non existent coffee was awful and quality of Cereal was disgusting the toast was hardly browned with only 1 toaster between the whole restaurant terrible.

Overall service is good!
