Very nice accommodation, located in the heart of downtown, just a few steps from policeman/spring creek. Our rooms view is literally sidewalk.

Good facilities excellent location. Clean and spacious room! Two queen beds for me and my friend.

I had a great stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, which made it easy to relax. One of the highlights for us was the sauna — we really enjoyed using it during our stay. The check-in and check-out process was also very smooth and quick, which made the whole experience even better. Overall, it was a pleasant and hassle-free stay, and I would definitely consider coming back.

The location was fantastic, right in the heart of Canmore. It's great for families to enjoy together. I'm very satisfied.

The location is great, right in downtown Canmore, so it's easy to walk everywhere.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we particularly appreciated the room decorations provided for my birthday celebration.

Location: Excellent location, close to shops and restaurants, etc. and easy to get out of town quickly. Cleanliness: Good overall, but hair in the bathroom, especially shower. Service: There is no hospitality service here, only (attempted) automated provision of a room - which is fine if customers are made aware of this when booking. I booked a couple of days before we stayed. The day of, I received 9 different emails. This included changes to room numbers and door codes. There is no option to check in at the desk on arrival. When we arrived the door code provided in the most recent email didn't work. The email said if there is a problem to go to the front desk in the Electric Wolf Cafe. I looked this up on Google (I am from out of town, had data access but not phone calls) and walked around looking for the Electric Wolf Cafe. After no luck, I popped into a place next door called something else to ask and the girl said that the Electric Wolf Cafe is closed but this was in fact the front desk for the hotel... She was surprised that the emails that I received that day mentioned a closed cafe and asked me to screenshot this and send it to her? I just wanted a correct door code for the room, which she provided. . Facilities: I asked about the hot tub, which she said was closed for renovations. When I mentioned that this was not shared when booking the hotel she said we could use the hot tub at a sister hotel. The primary reason for booking this hotel was because it is conveniently located downtown - we weren't going to get into the car to go get into a hot tub at a different hotel. So there wasn't any facilities beyond the room and a soda machine. No lobby. Parking is available and convenient.

Rooms are modern and decorated nicely and appointed with the necessary items- coffee Pod machine , kettle, fridge. The hot tub was a hit and has a view to die for looking at the 3 sisters. Rooms are quiet from road and train noise. Beds are comfortable and the pillows were nice and full.

A clean and comfortable stay with scenic views

It was a pleasant stay I would say. Clean and cozy. Home-like atmosphere. The only thing I want to mention is that when we arrived at 4:30pm no one was there, no reception, no instructional signs… until 10 mins later, there was somebody coming out from a storage, she was very helpful and got us in the room instantly. One suggestion is that it’d be great to prepare 1 or 2 extra blankets for a group of more than 2.

The location was really nice where it is near Canmore downtown and Policeman creek. Self check in and check out were good.

Wonderful experience at Lamphouse by Basecamp. It’s a functional motel with modern design that is impeccably clean! The bonus is it’s strategically located, close to everything needed and provides a free parking space that is much needed
