An outstanding wonderful experience to be had in the heart of Tuscany every turn you take at this spread out property you find hidden treasures, two unique restaurants, a variety of wonderful bedrooms, and most importantly, charming and efficient personnel, lead by the very professional and hard-working director of the hotel Patrizia who’s attention to detail reflected through the whole of the property.Patrizia is a credit to the hotel and hospitality industry and a true ambassador for this property. This really is an oasis in the middle of Tuscany, and it made an exceptional place to celebrate our wedding anniversary. 10 out of 10 and we can’t wait to return. Thomas Noblett

We stayed for two nights at this beautiful place. It was a last minute decision to go here, and the booking was made by phone only 1 hour before arrival. But when we arrived the rooms were ready, cookies, drinks and a hand written note was waiting for us. The place is incredible and the staff is was professional and service minded. We used the pool and fitness center. We took the tour of the winery. We will definitely be back soon!

I can’t say enough about this wonderful borgo in Tuscany. The grounds are immaculate , the staff extremely friendly and accommodating, the food is fabulous and our suite was luxurious. We were a family of 4 adults and stayed in the L’Uliveta suite. The property is so quaint and picturesque, every turn was another amazing photo. We had a car and were able to drive to small towns for dinners each night within 15 mins. And it was only 1hr 30 from Florence, so the perfect location for us to explore. I highly recommend booking a wine tasting tour. We did several at other wineries and the wine at Borgo San Felice was the best! Can’t wait for our case to arrive that they shipped to the US for us along w their delicious olive oil. Overall and wonderful choice for a quiet , luxurious stay out in Chianti.

Beautiful little medieval village, restored to present as a luxurious hotel with nice rooms, pool area and winery. Special comments on the restaurant Poggio Rosso, which is a Michelin star restaurant, chef Juan Quintero. The dinner experience was unique, fascinating and unforgettable . It was a multi course tasting menu, which combined the Tuscan culinary tradition with some bold and creative but always appropriate and harmonious new trends in culinary art. Kudos to the Chef! He was able to give the guest multiple exquisitely delicious and beautifully presented dishes and yet not to overwhelm anything in your body- the menu was extensive, but very easy to digest. Special thanks to the pastry chef Silvia- breads and desserts were above any praise. San Felice wines went very well with this amazing dinner!

We had a wonderful experience staying at the Borgo San Felice. The property is gorgeous and the staff are kind and attentive. The two restaurants on the property are great, and the included breakfast is particularly outstanding. Highly recommend.

The most picturesque and charming hotel you will ever stay in. The luxurious rooms are all individual and beautifully furnished. To a very high standard. The bathrooms are gorgeous. Everything is spotlessly clean. Huge comfortable bed. This was once a village and has now been very tasteful converted into a luxury hotel. Lots of original features from the village remain including two churches and a village square. The selection at breakfast is outstanding. There are two restaurants both serving great food and most of the vegetables come from their own gardens which you can walk around. Patrziia, the manageress has a magic wand that can solve any problem. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she always has a friendly smile. In fact all the staff are extremely helpful and friendly. This really is a gem of a hotel.

My friend and I had the pleasure of eating lunch here one day on our tour of the vineyards in Tuscany. After touring the grounds of this magnificent Estate we decided to stay a night. The rooms were very luxurious and well stocked with all the amenities. The room service and staff were very professional and made sure all our needs were met and beyond. We indulged in the spa services with a massage, facial, steam room and sauna. After a relaxing afternoon we ate at one of the two restaurants located on the estate. Of course these were of 5 star quality and beyond in selection and presentation. The vines offered were the best in the region. Of course I ordered some to be shipped home. This Estate is tucked away in the heart of Tuscany and I highly recommend it to anyone who is traveling in the Tuscany Region. It is something you need to experience at least once.

Nice spot, great room and bathroom, food at the Michelin star restaurant to be avoided as it is not up to the expectations and of course so slow and overpriced for the choice offer. The only nice food was at the trattoria only open at night ! If food and service was better, this hotel would have definitely been one of my recommended hotels on the list. It still needs a lot of work to be up to « my » standards !

If you could imagine the ideal Tuscan town set in the Chianti hills but turned into a resort, this would be your hotel. The hotel rooms are renovated parts of an Italian town (our room used to be part of a priest's home for the adjacent chapel). It's a lovely concept that makes every room unique - plus since our bathroom was basically renovated from a former sitting area the space was HUGE. Add in a relaxing pool with a bar, a Michelin starred restaurant, a luxurious spa (had a manicure and facial), and various activities (I had a cooking class in the the more casual restaurant which was really neat and yummy) and you have the setting for a perfect vacation. And did I mention that you are within an hour drive of wineries, Siena, and Montalcino? PLUS within a 10 minute drive of two other one-starred Michelin restaurants? This place was a perfect ending to a wonderful Italian trip.

Nothing to fault with the hotel and the complex. It is an experience of excellence throughout. Particularly suitable for corporate retreats and guests who prefer more formal experience. My personal recommendation will be to try the Spa, it is equipped with very modern facilities and excellent therapists. Giving it 4 stars as it did not feel like the best value for money comparative to similar stays across Tuscany. Also the corporate ownership takes away from the personal warm touch one can build with the property and staff in other places. Mandatory mask wearing for the hotel staff felt like a serious overstretch which I did not enjoy, but they probably have their own reasons to continue with the rule.

Absolutely extraordinary! So beautiful its hard to believe its real. The grounds and rooms are immaculate. The staff is wonderful and the food, across the board, is deserving of the Michelin star awarded to Poggio Rosso. I can't think of one thing I'd change about my experience and my only hesitation in writing such a glowing review is that I don't want to make it more difficult to get a reservation when I go back!

Hotel is nice, but i feel like its not worth the price, its just an okay 5 star hotel and theres no wow factor.. We tried poggio rosso restaurant too and tbh the food was unique and eccentric, its pretty but the taste of the food is… weird.

Very long, We were so excited for our stay at Borgo San Felice. Unfortunately it was our worst stay in 2 weeks in Tuscany. Before the cancellation period we had to adjust our stay from 2 nights to 1., we had the dining package with our reservation. We called to make sure it was ok to do this. We were told no problem you are within the correct time to change it. We would have to give up the dining portion though. We said no problem. My husband said we wanted to and please cancel the 1st night. We received an email stating we needed to confirm the change so we called right back since our internet was having issues off and on. We called and said yes we confirm the change. There was no mention that we still needed to hit a button on the email. We thought we were being safe calling and confirming. The day we were arriving we got a message saying we did not show up for our reservation. We called right away worried about the error. We were told over the phone, sorry that is a mistake I can see right here you changed your reservation. No worries…. Upon arrival we were told we had the dining plan. We told the very friendly front desk employee that we were told we didn’t have it with the change. She told us she was going to look into it. She called us later and told us no you do still have it. Dinner is part of the night. When we arrived in our room on the 3rd floor it was stifling hot and almost 28 degrees Celsius (82F). We turned the Ac on when after an hour the temp didn’t budge we asked for it to be looked at and for a fan. A fan was brought and the filter changed. After another hour with it going down .5 of a degree we went to the front desk and asked to be moved, we were told they would let us know if they had anything. We never heard back. We went to dinner which was nice. Then came back to the very hot room. We ended up sleeping on top of the bedding with the fan pointing on us. It was miserable. In the morning the room was 25.8 (almost 79 degrees). We packed quickly to leave because it was so uncomfortable. Upon check out we were given a bill for 2 nights. I told them that was incorrect. The billing person Ana came and was so rude to us it was horrible. She said we didn’t click the button, I told her we called. She told us well you ate dinner and you weren’t supposed to, I said we were told to, she said no. The front desk employee then whispered to her that we were telling the truth. I told her how miserable the room was. She told me I was wrong and I meant 21 degrees, I said no, I know exactly what it was and she could check. I was asked why didn’t I let them know. I said we did and asked for a new room. I was then told oh well I already comped you the night you didn’t show and dinner!!! I couldn’t believe what I was hearing. We weren’t comped anything! We cancelled and were told to go to dinner. The mismanagement was horrible. The rudeness was even worse. I cannot believe we paid what we did for an anniversary night to not even be able to sle

This hotel was one of the best places we have stayed at. The staff is very attentive and friendly. Rooms are beautiful and the grounds just stunning. The breakfast spread is amazing each day! We enjoyed the wine tasting and visiting the vineyards. It is in a great location - not far from Sienna and San Gimignano. I highly recommend staying here.
