We had a wonderful 2 night stay here, the room was spacious with comfy beads, so loved the spa bath, the meals were excellent, the pizza was to die for cooked to perfection, the staff were friendly and helpful, the loved the massage, rubbings the long road trip miles away. we would definitely return.

Really great experience. Staff are friendly, rooms are spacious and contain everything you need. Kids play area and pools are clean and fullt functional. Absolutely will be back. And special hi to Evie the kitty at reception.

The food and beverage Manager was exceptional. Food was delicious, so was birthday cake! We were a group of 24!

We were playing a round of golf and while waiting for others in our group to tee off 3 of us were momentarily sitting on the golf cart. We did not operate the golf cart with 3 people for the entire round, it was just being used as a seat while waiting for my group mates to tee off. Charmaine pulled up to the tee box in a red bakkie, without greeting and without describing she worked there stated aggressively screaming at the top of her voice, “Get off the cart. Only two people are allowed!”. When we looked at her with complete shock (because we thought she was a random lady) she then shouted again at us that she works there and we must listen to her. Charmaine was extremely rude to us. This killed the entire vibe and energy of our golf round which we were thoroughly enjoying. The tone and manner in which she approached the situation was extremely unprofessional and unsettling. I have never been so taken aback by an employees rudeness to their patrons. Completely unnecessary and uncalled for. All she had to do was speak nicely and explain and we could have told her that we were only sitting there while waiting for others to tee off. Horrible service

Absolutely stunning views with a good round of golf. Decent accommodation makes you feel at home. We'll prices an will see me again.

We loved our stay at Gooderson Monks Cowl, except that our bike and scooter was stolen at night, left outside the front door. The rooms are clean and they have everything one needs. The dam view was picturesque. The restaurant was well priced. The games/conference room had a functioning pool table and fuse ball game but needed a vacuum and dust. The putt putt course was fun. Unfortunately the weather was cold and rainy so we could not use the water slides and pools, but there is a lot to do in the area. The Reptile Park was great, the Waffle Hut and Chocolate Memories centres have beautiful gardens and jungle gyms for kids. The Bakery was beautiful and had delicious eats. All in all a great stay, besides the bike and scooter being stolen.

From the moment you step into the reception area and are welcomed with warmth and professionalism, you know you are in for a special stay. The unit was impeccably clean and beautifully maintained, creating the perfect environment to relax and unwind. The entire weekend was both revitalizing and enjoyable, with plenty of amenities and activities available to keep you entertained throughout the stay.

We had a lovely time staying at Gooderson Monks Cowl. Our daughter who is 2 especially loved the rock pools We played golf as a group and my husband especially enjoyed the course

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at Monk's Cowl resort. We'll definitely go back. We're very satisfied with the services, the staff friendliness and the facilities in general. The location is the best, with a lot of fun activities not far from the resort. Only one area of improvement we'd recommend that it be given a bit of attention is the swimming pool cleanliness.

Staff at Monks Cowl Resort are incredible, the food was great! We were however, looking for Berg views and vibe and didn't feel the location offered that. But visit Monks Cowl for warmth and hospitality!
