Food and stay were great. I felt it was a tad bit expensive for a one night hostel stay but I was grateful for the breakfast that was included. Location is easily accessible and city center can be reached by line 18. 😌

I didn't understand why it was full of elderly people and children... it was written that children could not be accommodated instead it felt like being in a nursery! No guests my age (20/30 years) Too bad for the type of guests because everything else was pleasant

Please look carefully at the names before you go. I didn't know there were two. It's Riehl, but I went to Deutz and spent an hour going back and forth. But I'm so lucky!!! It's a group of 4. There were no reservations on the day, so I used it alone!!! :) What's disappointing is that there are no amenities and the location is a bit far from the city center. I am very satisfied with the rest of the price, cleanliness, service, and luggage storage!!! I plan to go again next time :) I totally recommend it!

The hotel facilities are very good, the environment and service are also very good. It is the best and most comfortable youth hostel I have stayed in.

Hostel. Fair days and hotels had very high costs. Chose this property in a single room. Basic room but tidy and clean. They have drinks at reception at fair prices. I would say excellent

It's clean and tidy, and the wardrobe has a lock. Overall very nice

Location nice and quiet, 30/40 min walk from centre. Room was basic but ok. Have to make own bed (they leave fresh bedding on top of bed), very random. Have to take dirty linen to ground floor day leaving. No towels (€2 each), no shampoo. No basin in toilet so bit grim. Full of school kids running around all night so busy and noisy. Breakfast extremely basic. Overall ok for lads but not for couples/family’s.

The location is a bit far from the city center. The room was ok but the bathroom was a bit too small to get changed in. It wasn't too much of a problem though as I stayed in a male dorm. But I imagine it could be inconvenient for some people.

One night in two double rooms with family. The location is convenient by car but we did not have to take transport - rooms on the 6th floor quiet despite my fears - rooms simply equipped but very clean bathroom included - the large adjoining parking lot is a real plus because a lot of hotels don't have them - the breakfast is complete and the whole family has something to enjoy - Well, we're not going to lie, I wouldn't recommend it to my parents anyway, but with a 16 year old teenager and a 19 year old daughter years it's perfect ;-)

The youth hostel is in a good and quiet location, it's relatively quiet at night and the staff can come quickly, but they were unmotivated, which was noticeable when the food was served. Regrettably, a clock was missing in the room and the locks on the valuables lockers in the room were prone to problems. The subway station is not very far away, so you could walk. As usual, the food was much too small 100 ml glasses and the only water dispenser was always used, so there was a 5 meter queue in front of the machine. That was very annoying when eating. The juices didn't taste like juice (and there was only at breakfast) and the yoghurt didn't taste like yoghurt either. When eating, it was almost always loud, so that it was difficult to understand each other. There is clearly room for improvement. The Rhine beach is very beautiful and quiet. However, in the flight path from the local airport, which is great for plane fans, but you always heard the subway at night. There were also rats and a lot of wasps (summer) on the outside area.

The walls of the rooms were not clean, the rooms were not nicely furnished. The wifi cost money after an hour and the clock was missing. While it was quiet at night, there is clearly room for improvement. The food was good, even if the employees were unmotivated.

Hier gilt Hausrecht vor Jugendschutzgesetz, das nicht schriftlich hinterlegt ist. Man wird von Mitarbeitern vor anderen Gästen unfreundlich darauf hin gewiesen und ohne Grund nicht mehr in gewissen Räumlichkeiten willkommen geheißen. Mein Mann war selbst leitender Mitarbeiter in einer Jugendherberge in Rheinland-Pfalz u.kann diese Reaktion in keinster Weise nach vollziehen. Diese Jugendherberge werden wir nicht weiter empfehlen u.auch nicht mehr auf suchen!!!
