After camping for a couple of nights prior to arriving at Oyster Bay, the jet tub was heavenly! The view is spectacular and we spent most of our time on the private deck overlooking the ocean and beautiful coastal mountains. The grounds are impeccable, very clean and welcoming. There are very few motel/hotel rooms in the area we could have stayed for a similar rate, and certainly nothing close for an individual cabin with such amazing views and the beach right out front. The Resort is perfectly positioned between Courtenay/Comox and Campbell River. We were up and down the Oceanside Route (19A) a few times over the 2 nights we stayed at Oyster Bay as there's so much to see and do in the area. Highly recommend this accommodation and we'll be back!

Outside look is inviting. The cabin is clean but we would say only 2 adults. If you have 2 more adults, they will sleep on a makeshift bed w/four cushions that are very uncomfortable. The resort was not full, asked for two more wine glasses and they had none. Thought they could get from an empty cabin. Lots of do’s and don’t notes posted. One is if you don’t do dishes before you leave. You will be charged $50.00. Would we stay again? No. Maybe okay with 2 adults and kids.

Every place gets a bad review. This is an honest review of our stay.5 day stay. Check in was fast and friendly. Our cabin was clean , bed was comfy, and all appliances worked. Kitchen has a full size fridge, counter top 4 burner stove microwave and coffee maker. No oven. Only draw back was the bbq is showing its age but it worked well enough to cook a steak etc. the 2 lane hwy is about 150 ft away but not a big deal. Nice deck to sit out on and enjoy the beautiful view. There is a small beach just a 5 minute walk to the left and Miracle Beach ( provincial ) 8 minutes to the south. Buy you food at Costco in Courtney as the grocery store in Oyster Bay in outrageously expensive. Check out was fast and easy. No complaints. We will be back for another visit

Super cozy, immaculate cottage. Loaded with pretty much everything you need. Gas fireplace and huge jacuzzi tub was big bonus and nice surprise. The detail in the finishing work and construction of the cottage is beautiful. We really enjoyed our weekend and will be back for sure. Price wasn't cheap, but service and accommodation was worth it.

Cute place. Would be unbearable on super hot days, no AC. Screens are needed on every window to be able to open them.We had one window with a screen. Bed was ok-hard. Super friendly new management. Hopefully they are able to take care of some of the little things. Not much choice of food around other than Chinese food. It is only about a 10 minute drive to Campbell River with many many choices. Beautiful views from room. Kitchenette was nice. Had everything but an oven which worked out perfect, had no intention of cooking!! Did see a few ants, but nothing too concerning. Great beach walks. Cool rocks, sand dollars, etc. Overall good place, although a bit on the expensive side.

We had a great weekend. It was our Anniversary it we really liked the cabin. It was loud from the highway but to be expected being so close to the highway but a beautiful view. I may not want to stay in the same Cabin, only because of the incoming and outgoing traffic from the Resort (#10). My husband dropped off some things he asked the front desk if they could please put in the cabin before we showed up. It was displayed on the table so nicely. Loved that! Cabin was very clean. Loved the jacuzzi tub. Made breakfast and dinner in the kitchenette. I meant to ask for another frying pan, need more then one. But I was able to make it work with the BBQ. Full fridge & freezer which was perfect. I think another window should open in the cabin. The bedroom window is the only one that opens, to allow fresh air flow through the cabin. I would recommend your Resort to friends & Family.

We booked through *******, then immediately cancelled same day as booking...either ******* or the resort didn't get the cancellation done unbeknownst to me...fast forward 3 months with zero communication I get a call from the resort asking what time I am getting there that day..I was like huh? I cancelled this months ago...anyways still got charged $340 bucks even though they were fully booked according to their website.
Response from Property: Hello Catherine Our cancellation policy only provides up three days prior to check in without fees. You cancelled your booking the day of check in at 5:15pm. Cancellation policy More than 3 days prior to arrival None Less than 3 days prior to arrival 1-night stay + taxes This was your policy at the time of booking. You received an email confirmation stating these policies at time of booking. The same time you provided all of your credit card information and booking information to confirm the reservation. We at the Oysterbay Resort never received a cancellation or your reservation until after 5pm the day of arrival. This cancellation coincidently came in just after we called to get an arrival time. I can assure you had we received a cancellation it would have been processed right away to welcome other guests. I am sure you read and agreed to the policy as the booking was confirmed on the ******* website. If you can provide us with a copy of you original cancellation, we would be happy to investigate with *******. Sincerely Oysterbay Resort

Love the location, away from Campbell River yet close enough . The cabin was great , very clean inside and the property is well maintained. The bed in the bedroom is comfortable but the couch as a bed is way to hard . There is no air conditioning . The front desk clerk is super nice . We enjoy the view and paying horseshoe . Would return for sure .
