Comfort Inn & Suites East Greenbush - Albany Reviews

It was the weekend of a dance competition, we booked it for the convenience of being close to the competition but also the pool... which was under maintenance.

We found that the property was well kept, clean and the staff was friendly as well as courteous. Easy drive to walmart,restaurants and other shopping needs.

The power went out, we were evacuated, had to leave and drive in a snow storm 30 miles.

We were traveling from Massachusetts back home to the Finger Lakes region of New York, and the Interstate became impassable due to snow. My son found this hotel and booked last-minute. The facility is clean, updated and the room was cozy. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. In fact, this was a nicer hotel than some on our planned trip!

Staff was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was very good. Staff at breakfast was excellent in making sure everything was in order.

The beds are awesome! Water pressure is great. Wish we had more time to try out the pool.

The manager Frank very rude and disrespectful requested a refund was told “nope”. Think Frank is in need of customer service training. Will never set foot in the door again!

Very reasonable price. Easy access to Albany train station within 15 minute drive. Clean and staff very friendly.

I forgot my cell phone at this Comfort Inn and didn’t realize it until I’d arrived home, 3 hours away. I called, in a panic, and the front desk clerk began the process of trying to locate it. It wasn’t readily found and through repeated phone calls, each more anxious than the last, I always spoke with the same clerk, Allysa, and She was incredibly calm, compassionate and professional. I was truly impressed with her poise and patience. I felt heard and seen as a V.I.P. guest that needed taking care of. I got my phone back but I also walked away feeling like the whole thing was handled beautifully. So high marks for Allysa on her excellent customer service… which, in my opinion, is the most important aspect of doing business in hospitality or otherwise.

Loved the large flat screen TV and WIFI was great. (Tho not needing a password felt unsafe) Very nice decor. Extremely clean room and common areas. Building felt safe. Would have liked a restaurant to be on site. An off the highway sort of site, but given that, it was fantastic. Very nice bed too.

I’ve stayed in hundreds of Choice Hotels and most have been great. This one is not an exception. The hotel was beautiful, the housekeeping and front desk staff were friendly. Breakfast was a decent selection and the dining area was very modern and nice. There was a huge wedding in the ballroom so even with the guests barking dogs in their rooms and the DJ’s music, I didn’t hear anything in my room, just the halls. On my next trip to Albany, I will most definitely stay again.

Nice comfortable room. Free breakfast was good. We had no complaints except requested a ground floor room and didn't get it.
