Globales Cala Blanca Reviews

This is the second time my fiancée and I have visited Globales Cala Blanca and I cannot recommend this hotel enough. Clean, comfortable, excellent food and atmosphere, it is quiet and peaceful but the evening entertainment is excellent. Staff are extremely attentive and professional. Drinks at the bar include all inclusive cocktails, beer and wines etc all are excellent. It is in an ideal location not far from the beach, restaurants and bars and also right on a bus route. Perfect hotel for couples and families. We will definitely return next year.

Lovely clean 4star hotel. Room was spacious and clean. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Food was well displayed and you had a good choice most days. The pool area has plenty of sun loungers and places to relax in the sunshine. Evening entertainment is available but we didn't go to it. Beautiful little beach close by with restaurants either side. We would definitely recommend if you want a get away from it all holiday. We hired a car to get us around the island. But bus and taxis are available.

Just back from an 11 night stay, all inclusive and we really enjoyed it. The hotel is small and quiet, in a quiet area. Check in quick and easy. You have to pay for the safe and a deposit for pool towels and of course the eco tax. We paid a little extra for a pool view and thought it was well worth it. The balcony got the sun in the afternoon and evening. The room was well equipped, a little dated but everything worked and was functional. Only 2 English channels on the TV, sky news and BBC news, so I couldn't watch a lot of that. There is just one swimming pool, one bar and one restaurant/canteen. The restaurant was well run and efficient. Perhaps a little too quick taking away your plates, making everything feel rushed. The food was good and varied. Not spectacular but we certainly never went hungry. The bar service was quick as there was always enough staff serving. Big shout out for Victor, Maribel and Gemma. There is not a lot around the hotel. A very small beach, a couple of small shops and a couple of small restaurants. A 10-15 minute walk away there is a larger supermarket and an Irish bar etc. Bus stop right outside the hotel. 20 minutes to Ciutadella centre. Tui rep, Sonia on site most days. We hired a car for 2 days through her and picked it up and dropped it off at the "Owners Car" office 5 minutes up the road from the hotel. All the staff from top to bottom were excellent and friendly. Overall we had a lovely stay at this small,quiet, charming hotel and hope to come back.

Spent a very relaxing 11 nights here. The hotel is very clean, staff are friendly and the majority of entertainment was good. Mayte and Paz ( the animacion team) work very hard to help guests enjoy their holiday and clearly love their job. The rooms are a bit on the small side and you cannot hang dresses in the wardrobe- there are 3 coat hooks in the room , so I used these. Quality of food is generally good and the outside area of the restaurant was quieter than the main area. Cala Blanca is a lovely quiet resort and very pleasant to wander around. I agree with previous comments regarding smoking/ E cigarettes and feel that this issue could be easily rectified by a few signs and mentions in the welcome meeting etc. Overall this hotel is a very good value All Inclusive offering and we will be back .

We can hete for 2 weeks going home today 18th may the hotel itself is lovely spotless food is nice entertainment good drinks good pool is lovely lots of sunbeds room are comfortable the tv as only hot news channel in English which is disappointing as mostly English in hotel so could do with tv being in English the hotel is in middle of no where sp great if u just want too relax there is a bus spot outside hotel so if u want too explore u can the beach is very disappointing it only a small beach but u cant get in sea for mud .but we had a lovely realxing time will be back again in September

This was our 2nd visit and we was made to feel so welcome from past and present staff we knew, lovely hotel so clean and all the staff can't do enough for you. Beautiful area in cala blanca, lovely restaurants near by but the food in the hotel is so good so much variety. We had room 328 and it was a top floor room, quiet, clean and with a side sea view on a clear day could even see sister island mallorca. We will definitely be back because we just feel so comfortable, safe and so welcomed there. Thank you again to all the hard working staff including our 2 dear friends Mayte and Paz they all work so many hours entertainment, cleaning, restaurant and bar staff all such hard workers. Only bad point i can make is that there is a smokers/E cigarettes area at back of hotel but unless you been here before you wouldn't know, so a simple sign to say the area its required would solve alot of issues especially around the pool area where its non smoking. But other than this we love love this hotel and would easily book a 3rd visit in the near future.

Over all the hotel is very clean, the staff work really hard. We stayed there last week for 1 week. We had room 166 the Beds were comfy. One of our pillowcases had mould on it, it was changed the next day. The only thing let this hotel down was the food it was cold, not much variety the fans was on in the diner which made the food cold. Lots of flys in the diner. Best part of the food was the desserts.

Great value for money. Such friendly people and good food. Comfortable beds and good size balcony. Paz was lovely activities girl. Bingo each evening followed by singers. Only Downside is beach with lots of seaweed so not great for swimming. Had a lovely relaxing week.

Our first visit was in 2008. We visited 5 times after that. Not been for a while, but have friends who have. So we have booked to come back this year. Can not wait. Victor, Mirabel look forward to,seeing you x I will be emailing to ask for the room we had 4 out of the 5 times. This place has a special place in our hearts.

Lovely hotel, very clean. Room cleaned, and towels changed daily. The staff from reception, bar, dining to cleaners all professional, happy, polite and go out of there way to help you. Animation team very energetic and always happy. Plenty of sunbeds at any time. Food ok and plenty, always something even for the picky eaters. Only 3 little faults that I can say is 1 - lack of music during day around pool, which I suppose is my preference and not to everyone's taste. The 2nd - only 4 cocktails available with the all inclusive which is pre made in advance, but all other drinks spot on. 3rd - evening entertainment is on from 9.30pm with bingo then the live act on 10pm - 11pm and not the best of acts. These are little things which I think would make a difference but as I said this is my preference apart from these it's a beautiful happy holiday hotel and would recommend

We had a great time at this hotel. The room was a good size, with a large balcony and effective air conditioning. There was a good selection of food and drink on all inclusive. All the staff were very friendly. A special mention should go to the entertainment staff, Paz & Mayte, who were amazing - we've never taken part in so many activities! The activities were varied and included rifle shooting, archery and mini crossbow amongst others. The hotel is fairly close to the resort centre, about 10-15 minute walk.

What a fabulous holiday, beautiful weather. The hotel was spotless, staff couldn't do enough. The entertainment team are amazing, very friendly and made our stay fun. Food was delicious, plenty of choice. Thankyou for an amazing time, we will definitely be back.

From the moment we got there, we were made to feel welcome, the staff were brilliant, and very helpful. Most of the staff speak at least basic English, along with our minimal Spanish, they were great! The hotel itself and the grounds were always very clean, and well kept. The food was varied, and generally pretty good, though because of the air-con and fans, went cool quite quickly. I do believe the fans near the food were to keep flies off, as you would in a hot country, so understandable. The entertainment girls Mayte and Path were brilliant, getting anyone and everyone involved, both multi-lingual, with a personable approach aswell, they both put 200% into their jobs during the day, and the evening! We were out exploring the local area a lot, so missed a lot of opportunities to join in, but when I did, was a right laugh! The barstaff were good fun too, very friendly and polite, even helping us order our drinks in Spanish at times! (Well, if the staff, cleaners included, make the effort to speak English, always nice to try and pick up some Spanish) Thankyou all for a great holiday experience, Jon 2 Hopefully back in a year or 2!

We are all inclusive in a suite A lovely large room with air conditioning a second room attached with pull out double bed and TV. A second TV in the main bedroom with tea and coffee facilities and door to balcony. As it is October and our room is on the 3rd floor it is very quiet. No scraping chairs or slamming doors. The walk in shower is great and there is room around the sink for sponge bags etc. the food is perfect for me as I am a vegetarian and have eaten fantastic salads, plentiful seasonal veggies loads of breads and tasty deserts. My husband has struggled a little as he is a meat and veg English man and in his own words wouldn’t judge the food to his standards. Some have said the food is cold. There is a microwave so it’s no problem to use it a couple of minutes after you choose your food. The hotel is situated very near a pedestrian walkway that leads from Cala bona to the next resort. Loads of restaurant/bars and shops. All open still but very quiet in the resort as it is coming to the end of the season. Staff are lovely and polite. The token system for out door drinks is a bit strange but works well. Indoor drinks it’s as normal. Sunbeds all have a parasol however shade even with these is at a premium. Just the one pool and a baby paddling area. Not many children here as out of season. The entertainment started at 10pm outside and we could hear it from our balcony and inside the room however it ended before 11. So not really a problem. Smokers only a few areas to have a cigarette (one being as you walk to the pool areawhich seems a bit strange). We paid the tourist tax. 4 nights for 2 was 24euros. Safe cost was 6 euros a night ours was 24 euros. We always pay for the safe but this did seem a little high as the safe is in the room already. 10 euros deposit for the key. A better fairer option would be to charge 10 euros for the key as a fee. I will definitely come back. GLOBALES are a good group and have been to several before. For those coming from Palma airport it is approx 1hour 30 mins by coach.
