La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Corpus Christi Northwest Reviews

I always travel with my service dog and was pleased to see this location had a "dog area". This area had grass well cut, however, there was trash everywhere and the doggie waste station was broken. The waste basket was on the ground and there were no waste bags in the receptacle. I always have bags with me but it's nice to know they're available should a guest forget theirs. The elevator floor linoleum was very old and dated with chips in it upon entering. The floor I was on was quite noisy all night. There was a smaller dog barking non-stop for hours. A baby crying/wailing for about 15 minutes( so loud I could hear the baby in my room), the room next to me had their TV on super loud until after 3:30 a.m. I know it was this time because my dog had to relieve himself at 3:10 a.m. The staff was the shining light here. The check in agent was friendly and very efficient. The housekeepers were all very friendly as they all said hello upon passing any of them and the check out agent was friendly. Maintenance crew were nice when I ran into them in the hallways. The staff is what kept me from giving this location all poor ratings. The location was alot further from the beach than I anticipated. Probably won't stay here again due to location and conditions described in review.

The front entryway light didnt work, the bathroom door was falling apart at the bottom due to water damage, the smoke detector was covered by a plastic bag, had to keep going to desk to get towels, housekeeping only left 2 towels per day, there were 4 of us in the room

Everyone was very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here. I like that it was close to everything we needed. ❤️

Staff was very nice and very apologetic when I came down to pick up towels since they were missing in the room.

Huge amount of rust in the bathtub rendered the shower unusable. Bed was lumpy and very uncomfortable. So, we couldn't shower and did not sleep well. It was a sunday night and we checked in fairly early. I very highly doubt they were sold out of rooms. So there was no reason to give us the bad room. Not a pleasant stay.

Staff was very friendly and eager to help rooms are very nice and well kept some of the repairs could have been performed better on things in the room but overall still very pleasant. TVs could be updated for better sound at the very least. Internet was easy to access and was even able to connect the ps4 for my kiddos. Breakfast in the morning was hot and fresh with a decent variety of things to choose from.

One of the most relaxing times I've ever had...the staff is very friendly and comforting...I really did have a great time, thanks guys...

The room was very nice and comfortable. The check-in person was really sweet, knowledge and helpful. Loved the hot breakfast. Will add La Quinta to our hotel favorites.

The room was semi clean. We walked into the room, and it was super cold. I turned up the AC to warm, however it did not warm up at all. I ran my finger across the base of the lamp and it was dusty and greasy. Overall it was ok just a little bit noisy.

Needs updating. Rust stains in bath, dirt in corners of bathroom, mildew in showers. Moved twice, saw 3 different rooms. Towels in final room looked like pool rejects. Very small & “scratchy”. Decent breakfast. Helpful front desk & breakfast attendant.

Stained curtains and sofa, scratched up furniture, black mold around the bathtub, torn carpet, etc.

Key to 3rd floor room lock broken.. 2nd set didn’t work either. Ice machine broken. Elevator broken. Have to move luggage by hand down 3 floors. Phone in room to call front desk, can you guess? Broken. We felt like we were an inconvience. The only people who were helpful was the maids

The room smelled horrible, very humid smell. The bathroom was not cleaned throughly, tub stains, shower curtain stains and soap dish dirty. Floors were very slippery because of the humidity and bed sheets felt wet because of the humidity also.

What I liked was the fact that it was driving distance from everything
